Taydey A-Line Pleated Vintage Skirts for Women

So cute! A little bit
I am 5-10″ and about 200lbs. I’m all hips so I wear A-line skirts like this a lot, up at my natural waist. I was between sizes, so ordered an XL. It fits okay but it’s a little big — there’s a good amount of elastic in the waistband and a button clasp for minor adjustments too. I’m probably too lazy to return this but would opt for the next size down if I bought again! The fabric is a nice quality cotton blend or similar. Unlined but not at all see-through. Pockets!!! Good length – hits just above the knee on me. Colors are vivid. The pattern print is decent quality, more of a watercolor style floral. I can totally dress this up or down. I like it a lot so far! I’ll update my review if it changes a lot upon washing.

Great basic skirt – has a few flaws, though.
I grabbed this skirt because I needed a skirt for my job that wasn’t see through, didn’t cling to my body, and was long enough to be work appropriate, but short enough to where my body could breath in the southern summertime. This skirt appeared to tick all those boxes for me.
Fun fact about me: I am a plus sized woman. I wear all my weight in my chest area, but it does extend down to my stomach, thighs and behind. If you’re anything like me, shopping online is hit-or-miss. If you’re also like me, you don’t know exactly your measurements because shopping is so draining for you. I scoured reviews looking for woman who was able to fit in this skirt that were similar body shape/size to me. After finding a few, I decided to make the jump and buy two of these in a 3X.
It came in and felt very heavy, which was perfect for what I needed because that meant you couldn’t see through it – which you can’t! I am 5′ 8″ and this skirt hits me right at the knees, another bonus. I will say, it does fit rather funky on me. I find it riding up my body until it’s underneath my boobs a lot. I have to constantly readjust it to bring it back down. I will also say that it does fit comfortably, it’s a shame that it rides up. That could be on me and my posture, though! The stretch on this skirt is okay. Obviously not the greatest because of the riding up part, but still not the worst. I was also super happy about the pockets! They are deep enough to hold my phone and my keys/wallet. (My wallet is really small, though. It couldn’t hold a full sized wallet.)
The only real critical thing that I can mention about this skirt is the fabric. It holds on to EVERYTHING. I find dust or hair on it and I can’t just wipe it away. It is IN there. I have to scrub it down with some water or give the skirt a few good shakes before putting it on. Obviously not a great look if you’re trying to look professional. And I got a navy skirt. I can’t imagine what the lighter color skirts would do with every day use.
Overall, not a bad purchase. I’m glad I have something that fits me relatively okay. I probably will continue looking for something else a bit more flattering in the mean time, but this is a solid skirt for the most part.

Wrinkles easily
Not a fan of the fabric feel at all, very rough cotton in my opinion and very thin as well. It came out of the package extremely wrinkled so it’ll take some ironing to wear. I didn’t like how it looked on me but I think that’s just me, it was longer than I expected hitting just at the bottom of my knees. However the color and print looked great and the waist fit perfectly, the zip and button were super easy to use. Just won’t work for me so will be returning unfortunately

I bought this skirt to wear to Magic Kingdom, Disney World! Super comfy, I liked the material! I had so many people ask where I bought it! Recommend! ♥️

The description says it’s cotton but it’s made of a blend of synthetic material. It’s still a nice skirt but I wanted a cotton skirt.

Love this skirt. Saving it for cooler weather when can wear with black tights and a turtleneck. I’m size 12-14 so ordered the XL for a perfect fit. Thanks Tayday and Amazon.
