Impressive Performance and Aesthetics, Despite Minor Cable Routing Challenges
I recently purchased the Thermaltake LCGS View C i4790 Gaming Desktop, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and aesthetics. The computer is equipped with top-of-the-line components, including an Intel Core i9-14900KF CPU, 64GB DDR5 5600MT/s RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, and lightning-fast storage with 2x 2TB NVMe M.2 SSDs.I have seen another review mentioning challenges with the internal routing of peripheral cables, and while I did encounter this, I found that the panels were designed to be easily removed without tools. With a bit of patience and careful cable routing, I was able to set everything up properly. I did have to remove one thumbscrew on a fan to ensure all cables were seated correctly, but this was a minor inconvenience.Once set up, the computer’s performance was nothing short of outstanding. It handled demanding games like Helldivers 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and a heavily modded Witcher 3 with ease. The computer also excelled in productivity tasks for my work, such as reviewing and building financial models and light program scripting. The aesthetics of the Thermaltake LCGS View C i4790 are stunning, with impressive lighting that really makes it stand out. The high-quality components from trusted brands like ASUS and Thermaltake give me confidence in the computer’s build quality and longevity. While the case is quite large, this is necessary to accommodate the substantial cooling, aesthetics, and airflow. The size may be a consideration for some, but for me, the performance and appearance more than justify the desktop’s dimensions.Overall, I would rate the Thermaltake LCGS View C i4790 Gaming Desktop a 4.7 out of 5. The minor inconveniences with cable routing prevent me from giving a perfect score, but the computer’s outstanding performance, top-tier components, and striking aesthetics make it a compelling choice for both gaming and productivity.

Good PC for a first time PC owner
Have had it for a day now and it works really well for a prebuilt PC! Very affordable as well 😀

Worst computer design ever concocted
The ports you expect to have at the back of this PC are INSIDE of it, besides the power port and there is no manual that explains how this works. ThermalTake took days to respond to me and after a bunch of back and forth, I learned you have to take off multiple panels to plug almost anything into the computer (monitor, USB, ethernet, speakers). You then have to route the wires through the computer, meaning you need longer cables, then have to put to panels back onto the computer. To make matters worse, they put a fan right on top of the graphics card ports. My hands were too big to fit into there and plug a monitor in. Further, I regularly plug things in and out of the back ports on my computers. The computer also had a high pitch whine at rest that drove me crazy. I wasn’t able to actually use the computer as I couldn’t plug a monitor in, so maybe it would go away after Windows is setup. One of the panels on the case didn’t sit flush with the rest of the paneling. The PC is also very hard to transport as it’s massive and there are no handles anywhere. This computer would work for you if you have very small hands (or know someone who does), have a ton of space as it’s massive, are hard of hearing/don’t do recording, and don’t need to plug things into the computer once it’s setup.I ended up returning it as I could not use it and Thermal Take stopped responding to me after I said I couldn’t plug into the graphics card.

comes no bloatware.
Worked straight out of the box, came with no bloatware which was very surprising. the 4060 is a lot stronger than I thought idk if its a ASUS specific variant but it is pretty good. for 900 bucks you can’t beat the performance.

Amazing pc
Such a good pc for the price. Can run Fortnite at 240 fps stable. It can also run rust at 100+ fps consistently. Very nice looking pc and itâs the best at its price point.

Poor Quality control, good PC
I ordered this for my parents as their PC kicked the bucket, and a gaming PC seemed to be the best value. Plus there just wasn’t much out there in terms of your old home PCs.Overall the build is nice, decent value for the components, etc. It was listed as coming with Windows 10, but already had Windows 11 installed so bonus points there for not having to deal with upgrading…However, a glaring issue was that whoever put it together either used the wrong standoffs under the motherboard or none at all. It was also missing at least one screw on the motherboard; bottom left screw. The top [left] screw was tightened so far that the interface panel was sunk in so nothing could be plugged in. I wasn’t about to deal with trying to exchange or refund so I had to spend an hour fiddling around, loosen up some screws, and setting the motherboard in it’s proper position. The PC also only came with extra screws along with practically zero paperwork. So even if I wanted to break it down there weren’t standoffs to put this together properly. Anyway, simply loosening two screws and leaving them loose was enough so that I could pull the board up a little so that everything was able to be plugged into the interface. It’s a solid PC, but that’s a major issue that most people likely wouldn’t be able to tackle. Also Amazon packing was terrible. The PC was packaged well in it’s OEM box but Amazon slapped it in a box way too large and threw a sheet of paper in it; as if that even offered protection. Should’ve saved the paper for another package, what a waste.Overall a good value, and I’d buy one again if I ever needed a pre-built. These things can and do happen from all manufacturers. It’s just a shame they do because it really isn’t that difficult to put a PC together.

I went from being a non PC owner to an owner of a top 5% PC. Can’t slow this down.
