Customers say
Customers like the quality, value, and waterproofness of the boot. They mention that it’s well built, inexpensive, and keeps their feet dry. They are also happy with ease of use, versatility, and performance. That said, some complain that the boots are not very soft on their feet and are stiff in the ankle and top of foot. Opinions are mixed on fit.

Good Boots
I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend who was washing dishes at work at the time. He hates to have stinky wet feet (as we all do) so I got them for him and he wore them everyday until he decided his dish washing days were over. Lol. The boots worked like a wonder. No more wet feet. He did say they were a little big and somewhat heavy. He still wears them on days he’s going to a job that might be messy, so yeah, I think they were a good buy and we’re happy with them overall.

Don’t buy anything else
These boots will outlast ANYTHING you have had in the past,as long as your feet are not out of alignment.they are not slippery in winter weather, safe on ice with due caution, are not insulated and are wide enough for most, but not a wide foot.if your feet our wide buy over shoe boots, then layer socks.these boots are easy to remove standing up.plain and simple,do the job.the tread is deep enough for mud, etc.easy to hose clean.always wear clean socks each use and turn your socks inside out when washing socks with plenty of water to prevent foot fungus.air your boots upside down on a boot dryer when not in use.we have been buying these for years, you cannot go wrong with proper care as noted you and yours will be happy and so will your toes and feet.buy several sizes for different seasons, larger for winter so you can layer warm wool socks, etc

waterproof
These are waterproof. Also very smelly for the first week, outgassing. And rather painful to walk or stand in. Not for hiking! But you won’t notice when you are standing in muck, which is what it is for. Especially good for cement work – they are very hard to ruin, and very cheap to replace.

My daily slip-ons
I used these boots every day for over a year. anytime I go outside I just step into my boots. Everyone in my family and friends calls them my slip-ons. when they need to grab something from outside they say I’m gonna borrow your slip-ons. and step on in them and go. I’ve had these things in mud and high water. floods and thunderstorms on the tractor all day. fought off an angry rooster and saved said rooster’s life from a raccoon in the middle of the night in these boots. ran to the door grabbed my big bore air rifle and stepped in my slip-ons and saved many chicken’s lives. This happens more than you would think. .. I’ve road atvs and dirtbike riding. Dug ditches with a shovel and put many miles on them. I’m 100% going to buy more of these anytime I cut or wear out my boots. I love my “slip-ons”

The perfect, protective boot for weed wacking and grass trimming
I was happily surprised how perfect the Tingley boots are for weed wacking: they are stable, robustly fabricated, and thoughtfully designed for this kind of work. These boots do not have a steel toe cap, but the toe cap is solid and able to protect against flying stones. They fit loosely around the calf, plenty of room to tuck in pants protection. Finally, a noteworthy, small feature of these boots is the little lip on the heel of each, designed so that it’s remarkably easy to remove them: with a toe on the lip you can quickly slide right out of each boot and leave them in the mudroom without ever having to bend over. I should add that these boots are a bit heavy and I’ve added my own plantar insert. But I am completely satisfied with this Tingley product, and I can’t think of when I’ve been able honestly to say that!
