They are great under pants
For all the people saying these are too thin, they are supposed to be! These are meant to be worn under pants for added warmth. That’s why it is a good thing that they are thin so it’s not so bulky under your pants. I got these to wear under my medical scrubs for this winter. They are definitely fleece, but it’s a thinner fleece. The sizing says they run small so I sized up to the 2X. I’m 200 lbs, 5’6. But I honestly could have gotten the XL cause these are very stretchy and do not run small. The 2X fits well enough I guess, but they are comfy but kind of loose, and long. Great for tall people. I reordered the XL. I love these. Soft, comfortable, great for under clothes.

Much better than expected
I am 5’3″, 128 lbs., but have a very large waist, so was not sure whether to order small or medium. I went with small. When I first put them on, I thought they would be too tight – they fit very snugly. But to my surprise, once I got them on I found they did not bind anywhere, even around my overly large waist. Those who say the material is very thin are correct, and those who say there is no fleece lining are also correct – there is clearly no lining of any sort. And yet, the inside is soft and fleecy feeling, very comfortable against the skin, while the outside is very smooth and silky so that your clothes slip over them easily. Considering how lightweight they are, I think they are amazingly warm. The fabric also feels sturdy, so I am hoping they will last well. They are stretchy enough so that you can pull the bottoms down over your socks if you want, but they don’t ride up. To me they are a perfect base layer, with no bulk or wrinkles to show through. They may not be what everyone is looking for, but I really can’t think of a single negative thing to say about them. I will definitely be ordering another pair.
