Customers say
Customers like the size, value, appearance and ease of assembly of the tent. For example, they mention it’s very roomy, great for the price and that it has a nice square design. That said, some complain about the zipper, saying it’d be better if it was better designed and that they had issues with leakage. Opinions are mixed on quality and waterproofness.

YOU CAN STAND UP IN THIS TENT
Two Weeks ago I went camping with a group of people – one was an acquaintance who had recently bought this tent. We all had different tents and hers was far superior because she fit a whole twin sized bedframe in her tent along with futon mattress and a table-she could stand up in her tent to change and actually had a large sturdy room. The rest of us had low tents we had to crouch around inside and when the wind blew the tentS hers held up well while our tents kept whipping around in the wind and hitting us and waking us up. The next morning she was far more cheerful than everyone else 🙂Fast forward 2 weeks and THIS TENT WAS PRETTY REASONABLE so I bought in a color I LOVE (I was happy there were so many color choices because I got a teal tent and she has an orange one-I think mine blends in with the environment a little better!!) and went camping again. There are many things I love about this tent and only one complaint.I love the big size (it’s the size of a small room in a house!) and the very sturdy legs of the tent and the height. It has the 3 poles in the top to hold the top out, but then it has these wonderful long sturdy legs on all 4 sides that are so easy to install securely that give it the height and also are not part of the top assembly so hold the tent more intact in the wind! I like the fact that it has four windows and the mesh hammock in the top is a great place to put a light at night and it also has two mesh pockets on opposite sides of the tent well off the ground to store cell phones and flashlights. I also feel like the poles are a little thicker and a very good quality-I have had fiberglass poles splinter over time in the past and this tent seems like it will hold up a better with the thick, study metal poles. The tent was easy to set up and take down and fit nicely in the bag again (in the past it has been a struggle to get a tent back in its bag so I appreciate the little extra room in the bag so it is not such a huge struggle). After one weekend of camping it I think it might be the nicest tent I have owned as far as ease of set-up and comfort inside. The one thing I would have liked is for the door to have double zippers. In order to open or close the door you have to run the single zipper all the way from the top to the bottom in a very long C shaped track every time. You can’t zip the bottom zipper up a bit to keep out your friend’s little dogs and the zipper is nothing special (not YKK) -I am worried that over time the one zipper is going to start sticking along its long path and break. All of the windows have double zippers so I am not sure why they did not put one on the door. All in all this is a great tent at this price point. As usual with all tents I think it might be a struggle to fit 6 people in this one tent, but in my experience all tent size estimates assume there are going to be 6 very small people with no gear sleeping on the ground so this is not shocking. I think you could realistically fit maybe two adults and maybe 1 or 2 children on a mattress and maybe some gear in the tent comfortably at the most.I like separate camping cots and I can’t see putting more than 3 in there. I will still give it 5 out of 5 stars unless that ONE zipper in the door breaks and then I will be back to pitch a fit (hopefully it will hold up!)

Large tent in a small case!
I’ve had many tents over the years. This one is in my top 2 so far. Here are some updated notes:CARRY CASE: This fits in a large suitcase and is well under the TSA checked bag weight limit, so I plan to take this on a camping trip via airplane. The case is typical low-quality material but I’ve had these cases over the years and the others like this have lasted 5+ years with over 5 trips per year camping. Perhaps the manufacturer listened to reviews — the case with mine is large enough to rather easily get the tent back inside it.THAT TIGHT POLE: There is a long pole that goes down the middle on top. Some reviews mention how tight it is to get this one in. Maybe the manufacturer listened because the pole was snug but rather easy to get set up.WATERPROOFING: Never trust a manufacturer’s waterproofing. It’s minimal at best unless you get into the very expensive tents. Before every trip I spray down the tent with cans of waterproof spray, and take one with me just in case. In dozens of trips with this method, I’ve only had a few ounces of water leaking one time– and that was from heavy rain the entire 3 day trip. Always use the spray can waterproofing!OVERALL: This is TALL inside and at 10 x 9 feet, very roomy. I like the cabin feel. I love the light weight and small packing size. Impressed so far on my first trip!

Pole broke during first use
Great tent, perfect size and easy to set up. Stayed dry in relatively heavy rainstorm. Windows and doors are good size and let in cross ventilation. However the rope inside 1 of the tent poles broke during first use. Exchanged for new one hoping it was just a fluke.

Camping
This tent is so awesome. Quick and easy set up and breakdown. Very spacious and comfortable. Quality product and with the screen top and all the window’s it stays cooler than your typical tent. It did rain during my trip and the weather cover kept my belongings dry.

Good for the money
Overall the tent seems pretty good. I set it up in my garage because it’s winter now and I won’t be using it for several months. I wanted to make sure all parts were included and nothing was damaged. My actual rating is 4.5 stars because I have one complaint. The zipper for the door only has one slider/tab to open and close. All tents I have previously used in the past 30 years had two sliders/tabs so the door can be opened from the middle, one up one down. I would encourage the manufacturer to upgrade their design it with two zipper sliders in the future. The floor seems thick enough. Assembly was tough for one person but I got it done in about 45 minutes. Directions for assembly could include better details. For instance they don’t tell you that the roof pole goes above the other crossing poles. I had to figure that on my own. Also, the plastic corner brackets that hold poles on both side have ribs on both ends but according to the instructions only one end has ribs. The upright poles and roof pole are tight to assemble which isn’t a bad thing because it keeps the walls and roof tight but it makes it tough for one person to set up. Finally, the operation of the door zipper is rough but I used some WD40 and it slides much better now.I’m looking forward to trying this tent next summer. The additional head room will be nice since I’ve been using a dome tent for many years. I don’t know how it will hold up in the rain but based on customer reviews it should do well. Overall I would recommend this tent to others. Oh, one more thing. The carry bag is definitely large enough to get everything back in. Well thought out.

Easy to setup up, seems sturdy. I left it out in the yard for two weeks to ensure it didn’t leak. Not a drop of water in the tent after it rained for almost a week. The size is great to. We fit three blow up beds, a small camp table and two chair in it, and it still doesn’t feel cramped. I also like that I can stand up in this tent. This will be our summer camping tent for the year, and it will get some use.Only negativesThe pegs that come with it suck, but I had some better tent pegs anyway. I’ll also probably replace the guidelines at the corner with something that holds better. For the price though I definitely recommend.

Super tent, nice design features, easy set up, sturdy, lots of little extra detail features, huge head room is so great, good size foot print, with the fly off is a screened panoramic ceiling, lots of wall windows, decent zippers, am using as a temporary greenhouse, and go in and out several times a day for several months no problems yet. Great value.2 improvements to suggest, first is the corner bottom loops for the main corner polls is an open loop that the polls can slide thru, I suggest to sew one side to create a saddel or pocket that the pole won’t slide thru I used zip ties to solve see pic, not a huge deal tho, secondly it would be nice if the ceiling screens could be zipper closed like the wall windows, because if using in the cooler temp the heat escapes and it’s difficult to keep it warm inside, even when the fly is on, as some people do go camping when it’s cooler temps.I’m continually impressed daily with it, and I rarely can say that about much these days
Excelente casa de acampar –
Una casa muy amplia, de protege de la brisa y lluvia, recomendable.

As a frequent camper, I bought this tent to replace my old 4 man, as I wanted something I could fully stand up in, plus fit a double mattress, with windows and enough space for both a bike and guitar. It does all of this and more, and it does it well. I’ve done several trips now, one of which was 10 for days, and we had absolutely torrential rain for 3 of those. Not a drop got into the tent. The packaging is very compact, it’s pretty easy to erect on your own, you just have figure out how to bend the short cross rod, and get the flysheet over the top, but I managed every time, no problems. I would say get some better pegs, as the ones provided are just plain skinny bent rods, and you only get a hand full. I got a bag of sturdy aluminium angle pegs for a few quid, which are much better. On the downside, when I saw forecasts of 40+mph (~55kmh) I was worried, and rightly so. The structure simply isn’t designed for that kind of wind, so it collapsed. I was impressed that in fact no actual damage was done though, when I got home I put it up in the garden to check, and nothing was ripped or torn, and no lines snapped. It was fine for lower winds though, no problem at all, just be sure to get all the guy lines tight. Two other points to note. First, there are enormous vents in the roof, so if it gets cold at night then so do you, as any warmth just goes straight up and and out, and any cold breeze just flows under the flysheet and down into your space. I’m actual going to order some material that I can button over these and remove if needed, as it was a problem when the nights were cold.Lastly the door zip is a bit of an issue. As other review say, the door has a bifurcated flap around it prevent water ingress, which works really well, but right in the middle, when pulling the zip round it got stuck every damn time. I fixed this by closing the small hook on top of the zip.All in all though, this is a really good tent for spring and summer camping.
