Surprising clear and sharp images- much better than expected I needed a replacement point and shoot camera to replace mine that broke. I ordered blue which is very attractive. I like that it came with an SD card already in place. I spent about ten minutes going over the diagram and familiarized myself with the different buttons and functions and then went thru and set the parameters I was interested in using . Viewing the images in the camera itself: I was concerned with the pictures after I snapped them but when I uploaded to my laptop for use I was really surprised by the high quality of the images- very clear and sharp. I needed to do minimal editing because the images were very true to the object I took the picture of outside. SO I’m giving this a recommend — I look forward to becoming more familiar with the various functions.
Good, but not great The camera is OK for kids but for more experienced photographers I was not that impressed and there is some time lag between pressing the button and taking the pic at higher quality. I had a tough time using it the first time but things got better. Taking the mini SD card out and even locking the battery/mini SD door can be tough. Charging is fast. Videos are OK also. For the money, if you need it for a beach trip, I would definitely recommend it. If you use it at the pool, please clean it with soap every time since the chlorine can impact the lens.
Great! Awesome little camera that works well underwater. Very easy to use and the price is great for the quality photos you get. Battery last as long ad we’ve need as well. My daughter loves bringing it to the pool, creek, wherever!
Fun Little Camera This is a fun little camera that has pretty decent image quality. Realistically, you’re probably getting better image quality from your phone, but this has a rugged design and is waterproof, allowing you to take it places where you probably wouldn’t want to use your phone like under water or in a pool. The build quality is really good and it’s been really reliable. Overall, I’ve been impressed with this little camera and I’d definitely recommend it.
Buyer Beware We purchased this for our child to be able to take to camp. The camera overall does not feel sturdy. As others have commented, the door to close the charging port/SD card area is difficult to close. My 12 year old struggled with it, but could do it. That being said, we still were going to keep it until we actually tried to use it. It worked intermittently. Sometimes it would flash a code saying that “no card was detected” when there was an SD card in it. It comes with one. Also, at times we would be able to take a picture and then would try to look at it, but it would say “no file detected” as if there was no picture taken. We read all of the instructions multiple times, but could not figure out anything that we might be doing wrong. My 12 year old just took one of my old digital cameras to camp.Overall, if you purchase this, make sure you use it a bit before deciding to keep it to ensure it actually works.
Fun little camera that reminds me of a 90’s or early 2000’s point and shoot. The build quality on this is actually pretty awesome. It feels like a rugged metal (or high-quality metalized plastic) underwater version of a disposable action camera from the 90’s, which seems to be the look they were going for.The front-facing screen is a great idea. The image quality is a bit meh, but for a younger generation who idolize outdated, low-resolution digital point and shoots this actually might be very attractive. Although it isn’t “vintage” the sensor responds quite a bit like a point and shoot digital camera sensor from about 1.5 decades ago while still being a high resolution modern sensor. All of this being said the layout is great, it is super easy to use and kids can take it underwater, which is more than I can say for most other cheap little kid cameras. This is a fun, whimsical camera.
Great, compact underwater camera I have always wanted an underwater camera as I have struggled with some of the holders for my smart device. It is always a pain to try to take pictures underwater when I am snorkeling with the cumbersome bags. This has been exactly what I needed. Now….this is not going to give you professional, magazine quality pictures that much more expensive cameras will give, but the quality is very good and acceptable. The camera is very light weight and easy to use. There is options of picture and video mode. It comes with a 32 GB memory card installed as well as a charging cord, battery and bag. The other great quality is that it has a screen on the front and the back so you can switch the view and take a selfie with it as well. For the quality of the camera, the price is great. If you have an upcoming trip to a location that you want to snorkel or scuba, I highly recommend this camera as an option.
Excellent photo quality! This is a very nice camera! It has a rechargeable battery and an SD card included so you can use it out of the box and it can be charged with a standard USB-C cable through the battery compartment. It is water resistant so it won’t be a problem if you accidentally drop it in water or if water splashes on it. Just make sure the battery/sd card compartment is properly closed to ensure water doesn’t get in. I am very impressed by the nice photos it takes. The two displays (front and back) have very nice image quality and accurately reflect the image taken. I highly recommend this camera! I wished I had one of these back when I went snorkeling in the Florida Keys.
