Great shoe for feeling barefoot
Helps keep my shoe from wearing on one side after only a short time causing ankle pain. Will likely buy again.

A pretty nice minimalist sneaker
I’m writing this review after 1 day of wearing these. So I may post updates if things change. What I like:I like that the toebox is shaped like an actual human foot. I like having space to splay and wiggle my toes and these shoes offer that. I like how minimal they are. They feel like I’m wearing nothing. What I don’t like:I knew what I was signing up for when I bought these, but I don’t like the “zero drop” aspect of these shoes. Interestingly enough, the insoles in these shoes seem to be more of a “negative drop” than “zero drop.” The thickness of the insole at the heel feels thinner than at the toes when I take it out and give it the “very precise and scientific” finger pinch test. After a day of wearing them with the stock insoles I went to Walmart and bought some Dr. Scholl’s cut-to-fit gel insoles that provide a tiny bit of heel raise to them. That modification made these shoes quite a bit more comfortable if you’re not a fan of the zero drop aspect. It also gave the general experience of walking around a bit more cushion. I know…I’m defeating the purpose of “barefoot” style shoes by adding heel lift and cushion. Check the pictures to see which Dr. Scholl’s insole I got.My only other “complaint” about these shoes is that the soles are kind of loud and tappy sounding when my toes land on the ground. Hopefully that goes away over time.

Not bad, especially for the price
For the price, these are a great introduction to minimalist shoes and a worthy replacement for my old go-to’s, the Saucony Bullets.Pros:-Price. These cost less than half as much as most other pairs of minimalist shoes.-Upper material They are soft and breath well. No heel chafing at all.Cons:-Narrow toe-box for minimalist shoes. The toeibox here is a bit pinched, which exacerbates the next issue.-Stitching hot-spot on the pinkie toes. This isn’t entirely unexpected. My pinkie toe falls at a spot where there needs to be reinforced stitching. But in a shoe where the materials are otherwise nice and soft and plush, the stitching rubbing here is a bummer. That said, nothing that can’t be overcome with a bit of moleskin. And at this pricepoint, it’s not bad.Overall, especially if you intend to wear socks and have never tried a minimalist or barefoot shoe, these are a solid first shot without breaking the bank. Give them a shot and see what you think.

Love em
True to size. I started many years ago with the vibram 5 fingers, still have them still line them. Wanted to find a barefoot style shoe and choose these based off reviews. These are very conformable, lightweight and look really nice. I hope they hold up at least a year for the price at least, we’ll see. Very happy with them.

Perfect for a simple shoe on a budget
This is my 4th pair of these shoes. My first two are about a year old and showing some wear on the soles but I blame that on my messed up feet and fused ankle rather than the shoe. Iâve actively worked on foot and toe health so I wanted a simple shoe to get into it, I came from Vans Authentics and now I never wear my vans. I canât as the toe box crushes my toes.Anyhow. I do about 14-16,000 steps a day and the only thing that has shown wear is the soles. The earlier gens didnât last long but my 3rd pair has held up much better.China aside; I donât have an issue for these shoes. I wasnât seeking a vegan friendly or small business shoe here. Nor could I afford 200 dollars for a simple shoe, so here I am.Have several colors of these and no regretsUpdate: the inserts wear out quickly but the shoe is still in perfect shape. Looking for a replacement now but no regrets

All I hoped for
I wanted a âbarefoot â sneaker that I could use in my tai chi class. This shoe was perfect from the time I put them on. The fit is perfect and the price was great. Wore them today in class and loved them.
