Works very well at its price point.
I’ve had the machine for about 11 months now, and am happy with the performance. I believe I probably have over 50,000 strokes on it by now so it has gotten a fair test. I’m not certain of the total stokes on it cuz the overall total rolls over at 10,000. It’s done that a number of times now. Was not difficult to set up. I initially noted some clicking noises while rowing and isolated these to the place where the main rail joined to the front frame. A small piece of cardboard (like the back of a note pad) helped to silence that. I also tinkered with the seat stop near the front of the main rail. I found that I would bottom out on this and did not care for the clack when the seat would hit the rubber stop. Inititally I added a small piece of foam cushion (headliner from an apholstery project) to the front of the seat where it hit the bumper. That had mixed results. I eventually removed the rubber “button” bumper altogether and added a foam rubber cushion about 3/4″ square to the stationary spot where the seat can hit it at the bottom of the stroke. This had the benefit of allowing the seat to come about 3/4″ closer to the wheel which I liked because it allows you to scrunch yourself closer to the wheel at the start of the stroke. Seemed to feel appropriate to me and is quieter this way with very little impact at the bottom of the stroke. The seat is OK but I sometimes fold a bath towel and add that as an additional cushion. The machine is quiet and has stayed that way. It does not have any “entertainment” as the display is just basic parameters of stroke count, time, pace (strokes per minute) and calorie count. I think that the calorie count is a very simple function of strokes as it shows exactly 200 calories at 1400 strokes. I’m not sure it is sensitive to the load setting or your pace. I kind of doubt it but I don’t care. I don’t watch the display, but have the unit faced towards a TV and generally watch something that engages me to keep going. You can get a pretty good workout in the last hour of the original Die Hard. That keeps you from constantly looking at your stroke count and thinking “Oh crap. I’m only half way to my goal…”. Bottom line is this thing does what is says it does and for a rather modest price compared to some of the wind and water versions, and it’s quiet enough to accommodate Bruce Willis movies, …or even Hallmark or Nicholas Sparks if you are so inclined.

Fantastic workout, low noise.
Review for the YOSUDA Magnetic Rowing Machine (350lb weight capacity)I have been using rowing machines in gyms for over three decades. I am a fit 6â ~185 lbs, male with long arms. I am using this machine almost daily for about 10-15 minutes in the medium setting. It is a serious workout and comparable with gym rowing machines. It is very sturdy, silent, can be stored standing. The assembly was trivial. I recommend this product.

It works well but might be a bit short
UPDATE – Customer service is fantastic.First off I am biased. I use gym rowers. I wanted an affordable rower for my home gym and really did not want to spend over 500 bucks. That is even on the high side. I read reviews of this rower and watched a few youtube videos and everyone was giving this pretty high praise. With the sale price I decided to jump on it.Positives:- Super easy to put together. Took about 30 minutes. Instructions were great.- Super quiet. The belt drive is extremely quiet so this can be used anywhere.- Easy to store. Not heavy at all. Wheels make it great to move around.- Connecting to the App was easy.- Overall build quality seems great.Negatives:- I am 5ft 9inches and this rower seems too small for me. On the catch I stay very upright, not able to lean forward and hinge. The drive and finish are fine but it is the catch and recovery that the foot rest seem too far forward on the machine. I am thinking of modifying the foot rest with a yoga block or so to put me back a little.Other than that this seems like a decent buy for 200.

H-185 model (magnetic pro) does have bluetooth! Works with Holofit!
I was initially disappointed with this because I could not see any indication that it came with bluetooth as they had promised on the Amazon product page. While it is an good rower without it, that was one of the reasons I purchased it so I felt cheated. Then I discovered I had overlooked a sheet of paper in the packing box that gave the instructions for connecting to bluetooth if using the Kinomap app. Worked easily – I don’t know how you turn bluetooth on but I always press the mode button and move the arm straps in case that is what activates it. The other wonderful thing about this is that you can use it with the Holofit app if you have an Oculus/Meta Quest VR headset. It recognizes it as a bluetooth rower so you don’t have to use the headset tracking mode. I have been using this for over a month with zero problems and I am getting healthier by the day. This is an excellent value – the least expensive bluetooth model I could find that had decent reviews. And it is super easy to assemble because they label everything. (It does take some time though.) It makes very little noise, and you can fold it up to store it, but it is heavy so I don’t bother moving it. Get a seat cushion for it though – it is not all that comfortable without it.

Buena máquina en general. Cumple su propósito. Sin embargo, no tiene Bluetooth como lo hacen ver en las fotografÃas. Eso impide que te puedas conectar correctamente con varias aplicaciones.

Easy to assemble and looks great when put together. Runs smooth and seems quite sturdy. On the negative side, the display is a little cheap and the max resistance is a little on the low end, meaning you’re unlikely to get a great workout if you’re already fit. The machine is surprisingly well made and is still holding up quite well after a month of fairly vigorous use. Satisfied buyer. Would recommend!

I know that a lot of reviews stated that the resistance level was not enough for them. In my case, it looks like it will be sufficient for my purposes. I am over 70 years of age but fairly active. It is going to take me some time to increase my work out time, but so far I am pleased. It is very quiet with the only noise coming from the seat rollers. The action is smooth. There is provision to connect with an app, but my smart watch has an indoor rowing selection so I use that instead. I gather that the app might provide some video motivation and workouts, but full functionality comes with a paid version. I cannot speak to long term durability but at the price paid I do not expect the life span of a gym quality machine.

I did loads of research to find this rower. I looked at quite a few of the super expensive ones, but did not want to pay a monthly fee for the classes those other brands offer. Also, I am new to rowing so I didn’t want to put a lot of money into this in case I didn’t like it. I’m just under 5′ and this is just a tiny bit too big for my legs to get to the completely perpendicular position at the start of the stroke, so I pulled out the pin that stops the seat, added a tiny bit of padding to the joint further up, and it works great now. (I’m making that point specifically for other shorties out there). It’s quiet and easy to move and was very simple to put together. The screen isn’t all that fancy, but it counts time and distance just fine (and some other things like calories, etc.) If you are interested in rowing, especially if you don’t have a lot of space, this is a really good item. I’ve already recommended it, in person, to someone else.
