8 reviews for DOOGEE V30T 2023 5G Unlocked Smartphone, 20GB+256GB Rugged Smartphone, 66W/10800mAh Battery Cell Phone, 120Hz 6.58″ 108MP Camera Rugged Phone, Dual Speakers, Night Vision, IP68 Waterproof, NFC, OTG
A GREAT PHONE! I always do my research on phones when I plan to get a new one. The reason why I got the Doogee V30 was that my V20’s fingerprint scanner stopped working. Along with performance issues. AFter a few weeks of using this phone, it was amazing. Here’s my review-BATTERY:As per stated on Doogee’s official website, this phone has a massive 10800mAh capacity with 33watts of fast charging. I took one day to use up my phones battery and it only took 5% consumption throughout the day from 100%. On another day, I used my phones’ battery up to 48%, and since I also bought a wireless charger, in just 30 minutes, the phone reached back to 100%. The performance of the phones’ battery is really something! Also, from the their website, the phone can be used for 2-3 days without charging, and 18 days on standby without doing anything. I haven’t tried the 18 day standby yet but I will be sure to update this review.PERFORMANCE:The phones’ performance is quite amazing, and it really caught me off guard from my old phone. Although OnePlus uses Snapdragon, the V30 runs on MediaTek Dimensity with Octacores that lead up to 8. The fluidity is amazing, almost like how OnePlus had their 120hz and refresh rate. Android 11 OS. It works completely well and I am amazed by the phones’ performance. It’s performance also relies on storage and battery life, and they seem to do an excellent job!RUGGED PERFORMANCE:From one of the best rugged phones, I can tell getting water, dirt, or sand isn’t a problem. It’s iP68 Water Resistance and shock-prevention protects the phone very well, and it’s made to be durable. I rarely drop my phone at times, but when I do, the ruggedness really protects it.CAMERA QUALITY:The camera quality is quite fine, despite some grainy noise. The 16MP Samsung Selfie Camera seems all right too! I haven’t really took enough photos to see how much of a quality difference there is from my old phone, so I will update the quality review soon.WHAT I LIKE (pros):The things I like very much about this phone is the quality, ruggedness and battery. Even if I don’t use it for the day aside work and such, it always remains at 100% – 90%. Talk about such a big power bank! I love it.WHAT I DISLIKE (cons):Nothing much. This phone itself is a beast!WHAT I HAVEN’T TRIED YET:Storing at cold or hot temperatures. Putting the phone in ice.Overall review:This is an amazing phone for people who like to travel or just for casual fun. I’d definitely recommend this to people who are starting to travel, mountain climb or rock climb. I am astounded when I spent a week with this phone. Although it’s made by a small chinese company, they really did a good job at making rugged phones based on how well they will survive in falls. I’m going to keep up with Doogee’s phones as they are something I really like best!I’ll probably update this more
Not even close to rugged I purched the VT 30 for its ruggedness and battery life. Well I’m here to say battery life is 10/10 couldn’t be happier. That’s where the good ends. The screen cracked from about waist height about 2 weeks after I purched the phone. Then I started having software issues where apps are extremely slow or won’t even load at all. Now yesterday the cameras have water dew behind them and will not work anymore. Save yourself the money and just go buy a Samsung with a otterbox. They have better cameras faster CPU and RAM. And arnt so fragile.
It is ok This is my second Doogee phone. This was supposed to have a larger battery, I have to charge this one more often than the old one. Not impressed with this version
Difficult to use compared to my blackview rugged phone It did not seamlessly transfer information from my black view. Like the black view did from my Samsung. Required download of apps I’ve used forever. Am still tweaking it.
Actually a rlly amazing phone tbh✨✨✨✨  This is probably one of the best phones I’ve had! It’s super good and high quality, it has loads of controls and a strong case. It comes with a screen protector already on and tbh, I have dropped it on the school bus and stuff like that— and it doesnt have a single crack even after so much damage! If somebody asked me what phone to get, I would 100% say this one ✨🤧
Not as great as tech reviews have claimed In case you hadn’t figured out, this phone is heavy but it does appear built well enough to handle some abuse however, good luck finding a decent case for it.. here are my other issues; It’s processing speed is ok but I have encountered many moments it gets stuck on stupid or lags. Even selecting the open programs or last used apps button lags in displaying the apps to select from.I have used several text messages apps and have constantly but intermittently had messages that have not been received by the person I sent them to. I never had this issue with my other phones. This is using T-Mobile as a provider and this phone claims they are compatible.Phone calls and signal levels are usually clear and levels are as expected in areas in or out of town. Coverage is about the same as other phones on other networks.Data and streaming is relatively smooth but no matter what network tech I’m on 4 or 5g, web pages do not load quite as fast as most other phones I have used. Often they get stuck with a blank page or only parts of the page loaded. This also did not happen on other phones I have used. The phone does handle multitasking and multiple apps running at the same time relatively well tho.The screen is pretty bright when it needs to be and can be dimmed down well when you don’t want to light up the room.Cameras are pretty good. Some of the better ones I’ve used in all light conditions. But not better than galaxy or blackberry.Battery life is decent. I can pretty much get close to 2 days of use as long as I’m not streaming for 4 hours. This is on medium brightness and mixed games, web browsing and text and call use.Sound quality is decently loud and clear. Not as good as a Bluetooth sound box tho. It’s wifi is decent tho no wifi 6 capabilities. Also it’s 5g cell is questionableI’m not as big a fan of it’s OS. Noticable features omitted which my other phone had.And last, the power button is in the stupidest place. With a phone this heavy you tend to grip it well. So when on a phone call or just using the phone your fingers naturally end up pushing the power button all the time often causing your phone to reboot in the middle of doing something or in a conversation. Absolutely stupid place for it and to make it so sensitive…. Even while attempting to use the mediocre finger print reader you will end up pushing the power button instead.I think for the money there are other phones that would be a better choice.
Cannot Screencast due to DRM = Level 3 This appears to be a problem with many of the Chinese rugged phones. I would have kept it if screen casting worked right. Ended up going with a S22 Ultra with ZeroLemon battery case. Clunky but does what I need it to do.
