It really conditions!
I have tried three different shampoo and conditioner bars, and Kitsch rice shampoo and conditioner are my favorites. The other shampoo brands were fine, but the conditioners never seemed to work for me. I’ve used Kitsch twice, the shampoo lathers really nice and the conditioner really makes my hair silky. I have no problem running a comb through it in the shower, and it rinses out nicely. My hair is shinier and soft. No real difference in volume, so far, or growth, but I’ve only used it twice. If you’re looking to ditch the bottles, this is worth a try.

Works great!
I have straight fine hair that’s not thick in volume. My hair was fairly oily before this picture and look at the end result! It’s soft and manageable. It smells nice, not too weak not too strong. The shampoo lathers well. The conditioner needs a little more lathering in your hand but once you get it on it does a great job softening and detangling. I got the soap saver mesh bags which help lather and keep the bars dry after use when you hang them up. It says the conditioner can also be a leave-in product so I may try that out.
I’m happy to ditch the many years of plastic bottles.
Edit: I tried it as a leave in conditioner and didn’t like how it looked. Maybe I put on too much (I put it on wet hair in the shower), maybe it just doesn’t work well for straight fine hair? My hair felt soft and detangled and clean, but it looked stringy and thin because the strands were sticking together. It looked much better and fuller after I washed it out. It could work better for someone with curls possibly.

Didn’t notice a change
I was really excited to try the shampoo and conditioner based off of the other reviews. Unfortunately I have been using this for roughly a month and have not noticed a change in the thickness of my hair. The shampoo doesn’t really lather and it doesn’t give me that feeling of a “clean scalp”. I also made the mistake of using the conditioner by my roots which left my hair looking extremely greasy (I normally wouldn’t condition my roots but I gave it a try in hopes of it helping with regaining thickness – I also don’t have naturally greasy hair). I’ve since just been putting the conditioner on the middle and ends of my hair and I do really like how silky my hair feels after using it, once dried. I probably wouldn’t buy again though as the whole reason I bought this was to thicken my hair and I didn’t see that happening.

So I was skeptical of using a shampoo and conditioner bar for years. I was using “high end” shampoos for a long time and after awhile my hair would start to look flat and always greasy the next day. First time I used this I wasn’t impressed. Gave it a few more tries and since then my hair is looking so much healthier. The conditioner bar is so nice too because after you rinse your hair will be super soft and easy to brush out if you have thicker hair like mine. The scent isn’t overpowering either. I also like how these last longer than a bottle of shampoo. Will definitely be reordering.

Where do I begin so I decided to change my usual shampoo & conditioner as I noticed my hair was thinning & to be honest I was having to use other products to prevent frizz. I did a lot of research & came across this product & thought I would give it a go. One wash with the shampoo soap & conditioner I let my hair dry naturally & I noted it felt stronger the texture just felt in a better condition. So Ive gone to bed & expecting the usual massive hair frizzy & having to try tame my hair & shove it up as so wild… well all I can say is WOW my hair looks amazing no frizz it’s got a natural wave in my hair it looks like I’ve styled my hair the roots are smooth & super shiny. I love it this is a must purchase. I now need to purchase tins /box for the soaps re travel but less to carry not the usual plastic bottles. My husband is using the shampoo soaps he states his hair is in the best condition ever & his hair looks thicker. I’m never going back to shampoo from a bottle again.

The first time I used it I felt like I had a residue left behind. I don’t know if I didn’t rinse it properly or there was a top layer that left a residue. But, I’ve been using it now for a few weeks and my hair lasts longer between washes, it’s softer and seems to feel a bit fuller. The conditioner is amazing too! It detangles and smoothes my hair without making it look greasy, even if I condition closer to my scalp.
