Great value, ideal for single youth camper. Quick and easy setup.
Used for two day camp out by an early teen. Bag was small, light, super easy to put up, looked a lot more expensive, fit on a 5×7 ground tarp great, and generally worked well the whole time. The green color we bought really looks good at camp. Had several ask about it. It was put up in maybe 10 min including ground tarp and stakes. We did not use in rain but should do ok in light rain or bring a tarp for extra protection in windy downpours. The ârainflyâ is just a very small cover for the small opening at the top. But I sprayed the tent with water and did not leak.Zippered bug net doors worked well and the main solid doors have tie backs.Comes with four small stakes and two fiberglass poles. So what are the cons at this price range? Zippers: very cheap plastic….would suggest being very careful. Thickness of tent: would not place on rough areas or use roughly, always use ground tarp. Smell: Air it out a few days….smell gave the person a headache. Poles: are small and should be used gently, but work. Rain: No rainfly but I donât think it needs it. Size: Best for a person near 5â even though it is 6.5â in measurement. Iâm 6â1â and I had to position from corner to corner to not have the tent side in my face and doesnât work well with rectangle sleeping bags or bag mats.Overall, I was very surprised and would buy again. The pros and value far outweigh the cons. Our other tents and hammocks cost a whole lot more. So if you are worried about durability, buy two. Still less than most basic tents and is super light and small when in the bag.

For what it is, I love it.
I took this tent on a month long motorcycle trip going from Wisconsin to Arizona (and many places inbetween), and spent many days camping in this very tent. Now, It isnt made to be the warmest tent, or the coolest, or the most water resistant, or the biggest.. but its cheap and it works just fine if the weather isnt horrible; Though it did withstand a severe sandstorm and it stopped basically all the wind from hitting me despite it all (though sand did get in from the front, i may have been able to tie it to reduce that). I got lucky with rain (it only rained lightly, and i stayed dry), but i can tell in heavy rain all the tarp for the bottom will do is act as a pool. The only serious complaint i have is.. the carrying bag is JUST barely big enough to fit the tent, and only when folded correctly I wish they made the diameter of the carrying bag just a LITTLE bit wider, because it took me a while to learn just exactly how to fold it to get it back in the bag without ripping it (and even then it felt like i might each time i had to stow it). All around, a good tent for light summer camping, though in a pinch and with the right secondary equipment, it can be pushed to do more

Exactly as advertised, lightweight easy to use
I took the Bike up into the hill country and wanted a small, compact lightweight tent. It is all of that. For the price, you definitely can’t complain. Here’s what happened though. It was unexpected cold, dropping to 30 degrees that night. Very unusual for this part of Texas. The tent is NOT designed to provide any protection from the cold, and it didn’t. I didn’t bring enough blankets. My 300lbs was trying to huddle under some towels, like that would work. Laying on my 1 blanket to keep from laying directly on the cold ground. The only way I could stretch out my 5’10” frame was to lay catty-corner and even then my feet were pressing into one corner and my head was touching the opposite corner. 2 grown humans in this tent? I don’t think so. maybe as a dare. I’m sure two horny teens could make it work. Anywho, it was cramped for just me. getting dressed was not easy, since there wasn’t enough room to crouch. But I knew about the space issue, so I expected all of that. Most tents greatly exaggerate how many people can fit in real life. All in all I’m really happy with it. it set up fast, by myself, and provided a sense of shelter through the night, even if all it did was cut the wind a bit. However, I will be replacing it with a slightly smaller, lighter, sturdier tent that provides a tiny bit more insulation from the cold.

Ok for the money but….
Nice little tent for the money. Can sleep two adults cramped but a perfect solo tent for backpacking, scooter camping, etc. Take a small tarp for extra security when it rains. The rain fly only covers a very small part at the top of the tent. Goes up fast and easy. Self standing but needs to be staked at the corners if the wind comes up. Kept me dry and the bugs away! A pole tab on that is sewn to the floor came off after first set up. Had to repair all. Not sewn very well. Sharp edges on the metal part that inserts into the web strap/ plastic pole holder at each end had to be sanded smooth. they were so sharp they would cut you. No rain fly to speak of so take a tarp. I used and 8×10 and it worked good. Needs a 2.5 star rating but for the price I can’t complain. It did the job nicely once the mods and repairs were completed.

Leaks when it rains
If your going camping in an environment that gets rain, this tent is NOT for you. The tent itself is an easy set up and looks decent. I purchased it for a safe place to sleep and stay dry at night while conducting some military training and this tent did not hold up to par. First night into training it rained and the tent at most is probably 70% water resistant, you will get wet and there will be water in your tent. I will NOT be recommending this tent and once this training is complete, this tent is going in the garbage.

Using it for a mini shed under our deck
Using this for a temporary shed for our lawn mowers under our deck. I bought one a few years ago and it has held up great, since we never take it down. I just cut the front flap low so we can roll them in. It fits two push mowers, just until my husband can decide where he wants to put our shed and how big he wants it. He’s a perfectionist so it could be a long wait and that’s why I just bought another one to replace the first. It had gotten some mold being under the deck and with all the rain we’ve had but 30 bucks for two, still in good condition thanks to the tent, lawnmowers I can’t complain and now it’s 20 bucks and its the same exact one. It was a no brainer.
