Hard to beat for price.
There’s 1 downside to WiFi cameras. Your internet speed has to include enough upload gbps per camera for optimal results. Example 10 gbps is enough for 3-4 cameras unless you’re uploading something at the same time. Yes you can run 8-10 cameras but you’ll see delays, buffering and be disappointed in speeds. Proper upload speeds is vital so you can run your cameras and other uploading data (basically sending, example : to cloud, to another devices to private storage). If you use cameras for live viewing and no saving video upload speeds aren’t important.
That said, these Tapo ptz cameras work good, they move properly, app is intuitive, storage is cheap $10 for 10 cameras for 30 days, they’re a TP-Link products so it’s amazing like everything they make. I see TP-link to electronics as I do 3m to adhesives. Simply works. These cameras are 2k so zooming is ok but they don’t actually zoom it’s an in picture zoom. The cord is 2 piece so you can put attached side through a wall and connect adapter side in a plug inside but not have to make a huge hole. 3/8” hole is all you need. Entire unit is compact and has 4 holes in mounting plate to easily with a template to mark for plastic anchors or pre-drill hard surfaces.
TP-link start up is by far the easiest I’ve seen and I’m a fan.
1 caveat I have is, when volume is on there’s no was to avoid hearing the motor turn the camera. These are NOT for high security areas or places subject to damage, mounting plate and body are plastic but you should know that when purchasing anyway. I would not hesitate at all to buy TP-link cameras or recommend to them to my own family and friends.

Impressive!
Bought just 1 to field test it out. Installing is simple and straight forward. I’m using a 512gb card. Custom settings to set to “your” needs. I like it so much I’ve got 2 more on the way. Now that I’ve all got this all set up and dialed in not even 5hr later they were proven to be effective. Cameras stopped 2 Jr thugs from stealing my neighbors car. Thank God for the lights and alarms. I use this triple setup with a COOPER 10 inch Android tablet also from Amazon. Sweet system for less than $300

Worked flawlessly until the free trial ran out
I was excited to try this camera as I have a Kasa brand (as well as their bulbs and plugs) and love it – this was an upgrade due to the pan feature. I use it to monitor my animals when I’m away from home. It worked flawlessly until the free trial ran out – I purchased Tapo care for a year and now I can’t connect, it refreshes multiple times before I can see a picture or it tells me it’s failed if I try to access settings, live view, or pan features. Connection time is ridiculously slow now, IF it connects at all. I only get stills – no live view or audio now. I’m not sure if it’s the camera or the app as I have a Kasa camera very near this one that I can see quickly and clearly on the Kasa app, but if I try on the Tapo app, I get similar issues as with this camera. Even when the camera worked, I like the Kasa app much better as it’s easier to use and the interface is better. Very disappointed.

Easy to use for a basic user, power users beware, bugs galore.
If you just want to put it in one place and forget it this works.
If you want a camera to stare out of intently as a power user doing advanced things you’ll face hard crashes constantly.
It is slow to reboot on its own, needing an unplug from the outlet and plug back in to get it rebooted faster.
Its a good camera for the value, but I would look at others to see if there may be a better brand.
Hopefully they patch these MANY MANY MANY bugs on the software, (you ask it to do too much and it just completely crashes, takes 10 minutes to fully reset so you can troubleshoot it or set it up unless you unplug it, then its 5 minutes and a aching back).

Es de fácil instalación la camara es genia el movimiento y sensores de movimiento son perfectos y en la noche da una imagen muy clara la recomiendo por su precio es de muy buena calidad

 En general el producto cumple
– detección de movimiento (personas) a unos 15 metros aproximadamente. Mentira que es a 20/30
– el modo patrulla está bien aunque desgraciadamente hay tiempos entre cada sector, hubiera preferido en constante movimiento.
– la zona donde la puse es para monitorear un espacio de aprox 60×35 no se ve a gran detalle la verdad, se ve pésimo ya que está cámara no tiene zoom óptico por lo que se nota como película pirata. Pero cumple su función.
– a veces la app tarda en mostrar en tiempo real la imagen. Al darle girar en la app, la cámara gira al momento pero la imagen no tanto. Si tu internet es intermitente o se corta, olvídate de esta cámara (para controlarla) a menos que le metas memoria. La velocidad de internet no tiene que ver con la calidad de transmisión y/o la fluidez. Tengo 150 Megas simétricos y hay trabas a veces.
– si tu cámara es pra una zona con árboles y hace mucho aire, prepárate para notificaciones cada 10 segundos. Tuve que derramar algunos árboles para que la cámara dejara de márcalos como “movimiento y/o persona detectada”aún moviendo el % de detección.
– si la cámara llega al tope y la persona se pone en ángulo muerto, la cámara no da la vuelta completa a la inversa para seguirlo, simplemente lo da por perdido.
– la opción de infrarrojo es buena, aunque me hubiera gustado a color sin luz, como otra tapó que tengo fija con tecnología Nigthpro color (algo así) de la C325WB
Desconozco si quema memorias, para esta he de adquirir suscripción ya que me interesa que todo se grabe y se guarde sin necesidad de andar trepándome a una escalera para respaldar.
Cuanto dure? No sé, pero definitivamente de momento si la volvería a comprar.
No me iría x la otra con antenas a menos que la distancia fuera grande (por el wifi) ya que la definición de MP en estas cámaras no hace gran diferencia ni cambia mucho.
Aunque aguantan intemperie si que le montaré algo encima, el cuidado aplaza la
Vida útil.

Me sorprende que a pesar de que se ha caído el cielo con la lluvia, no se haya apagado (fallado).
Esperemos que no suceda antes de los 30 días de devoluciones xq nos restan 3 semanas de lluvias intensas jajaja
En definitiva, cómprala.
