Very happy to have this, exactly what I wanted
Overall, it is totally sufficient for what I need and I am very happy with my purchase. As for feedback, First off, I found the assembly slightly difficult and a video with clear instructions would have been better. Also, buyers beware: you need to make sure your door frame is study enough for this! I live in an apartment that is decent but I have to be careful because I can’t tell if my door frame is really sturdy enough or not to hold the weight of me and this contraption. Luckily I am very light (112 lbs) and I don’t intend to do hundreds of reps — but I can see how this would be a problem for a heavier person who intends to do a lot of reps — that’s a lot of strain on the door frame supporting this.Secondly, it doesn’t quite sit flush against the wall and door frame — again, every construction is going to be different. And it makes a squeaking sound that is slightly unnerving about stability (i.e. is the door frame going to give on me… lol). But, like I said, I think any similar contraption will have this same problem because ultimately it is relying on the construction where you live which is a variable the company can’t control. So just be aware of this and take reasonable precaution. I would recommend re-enforcing the stability if you are able to modify your home at all (I can’t do this as I live in an apartment so can’t make modifications to the door frame). It’s a little awkward on the sit up use as it doesn’t hold my feet to the floor unless I have big shoes and padding on to make my feet bigger — but again, every body’s body is different so some people’s feet will be bigger and perhaps too bit (doubtful, there’s lots of room). My shoe size is 7 1/2.That all said, I recommend it — it’s a great tool and I love being able to turn my room into a gym like this without a bunch of heavy equipment around. Wonderful, thank you!

Excellent — stable and love that it is easy to put up and take down
Note: This review is for the pullup bar alone; the elastic assist pull in my photos is mine and is not included with the bar. The bar was easy to put together — just a few screws that you adjust based on the size of the doorway. We have it on a pretty standard bathroom doorway and it did just barely fit on the wider setting, but it does fit securely. The hardest issue was getting the metal security hook into the space between the molding and the wall at the top of the doorway — it took my husband a mallet to get it in securely. It also means that though the bar is super easy to take down (so I can close the bathroom door when not working out) and put back up before I work out — it really won’t be able to be used on other doorways (my kiddo was wanting to use it as well) unless I somehow got another safety piece. I do 100% love the design that allows this bar to sit on the frame and the downward/outward pressure from body weight actually secures it in place and it doesn’t require any permanent hardware in the doorframe and isn’t dependent on how tight I can expand a bar between the doorway. This one is secure every single time I put it up and the design is so well thought out. I have tested it, and it holds my weight easily and my teens tried it, and it was secure for them as well. I have no issues with it being stable and secure and feel 100% comfortable and confident on it. 100% happy with this purchase!

Best bang for your buck at home back workout!
Let me start by saying I weigh around 170 pounds, 6ft tall. I was iffy with this product due to having a doorframe pull-up bar before but this one was just great! The only reason I left 4 stars is because it is a bit wobbly but I don’t feel unsafe when using. It’s extremely versatile, great for travel. I’ve had it on three doors now and it has not damaged or scuffed one. It fits great and is even adjustable to the door frame. Overall it performs well, feels great and is a great way to get a back workout for cheap. Excellent product honestly!

Pretty sturdy
I use this making on my bedroom door frame. I have regular crown molding around the frame of the door and it hold a lot of weight. It held up my who is 180 easy enough. I would say that you wouldn’t want to swing on it or jump up to it since it will fall off if enough momentum is used. I am 5’1 and I found that pull up foam grip area is a little further apart than I would like. I have to grip the metal bar in order to get regular pull up and not have to hold as wide grip apart. It was super easy to assemble and put away in my closet when I’m not using it. I like it since it also has various grips available.

Really good for the price
This is a solid product. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and clear. I used it for the first time today and it is really sturdy. I installed it on my utility room door in case the frame gets scratched. I used a pair of old socks to protect the frame as well as the supplied Gel frame protectors. Works well.

Works well but wears out your door threshold
This product works well for what my brother needed it to but it started to wear the threshold of the door out after a while. Has good grip, easy to use.

Doesn’t fit larger door frames
My door frames molding is 4.5 inches. You cannot mount this bar using the safety clip if the molding is that thick. It would seat fine without the clip, but I did not want to use it without an essential safety feature. Otherwise, it appeared well made and easy to assemble.

Great Customer Service and Product!
I originally purchased this one but it wasn’t wide enough for my work doors. I contacted the seller Ally Peaks and they said no questions asked will take care of it, didn’t even have to go through Amazon. I purchased the wider version for my work. I requested to get additional silicone pads for the door and they sent it to me within a few days no questions asked. The product itself is great, it feels very solid as long as you understand how it works and put it up correctly each time you use it I have never had safety issues. Im able to get a quick workout in every day when I can’t make it to the gym for a full workout, but it feels like due to the consistency and perhaps even the benefit of body workouts the abs are starting to show really defined when Ive never really been able to get them betore. So far Ive been using it for wide pull ups, close pull ups, wide and close pushups, tricep dips and you an definitely notice the benefit. The only helpful advice I would provide for buyers I would say is that while they include a wrench, if you have your own ratcheting socket wrench you can install it a lot faster and tighter.
Feel good –
So far, so good. Easy to install, and fit on the door frame.

I’m really enjoying using the pull up bar even though I’m really useless at it I can feel improvements in my strength already. It fits well in my door frame. It was delivered quicker than expected, however I’m lucky it didn’t get stolen as the delivery company put it several feet in front of my door in full view of anyone who happened to walk past, leaving it in a discreet place would have been more sensible.

Just like advertised. Sturdy, easy to put together. Fantastic. Only thing I’m not sure about is it holding 400 lbs because I weight 180 and there is a slight bend to it

This bar is pure quality. And the extra bonus’ make this a no brainer. I was not going to use the silicone pads but then I was afraid my door might break; added the silicone pads to the doorframe and it absorbed the weight and the door stopped creaking! I don’t know if that was it’s intended purpose but it did way more than just preventing scuffs. And the little metal piece that prevents the bar from falling off the door; one little touch that makes all the difference. And on top of that the 2 resistance bands? My other friends that bought similar bars like this one (no idea from where) got none of those 3 things included. So yeah, very satisfied. Use it regularily and am already feeling some improvement in my arms It’s very simple to put it up and just remove it. No excuse now for me Not to do a few pull ups anytime.

I am not handy (at all) and was able to assemble to product in less than 10 minutes. It seems very sturdy as a whole and the soft grips are quite comfortable. Fits well in a regular doorframe and works as advertised. It comes on/off the door in seconds, so we tend to remove it every evening (just in case it falls off – although it hasn’t yet).My husband is 6ft tall and so he needs to curl his knees to use it (we have regular 8 or 9 ft ceilings – so that dictates how high off the ground our doorframe is). He doesn’t enjoy it as much, but I get a lot of use out of it.I had an issue with the initial package I received – the were that were included were too short. I emailed the seller and they rectified the issue very quickly.Overall satisfied with the purchase and would buy again.
