Good quality for the price
I bought the XL size and it fits good. I’am 5’6″ and about 175 if that helps. No problem with a tee or shirt underneath it. Made in Vietnam. Light weight with side seams. Zipper is not medal, but good quality YKK.

Febreze chemical smell, but it washes out
Have bought these in the past couple of years and liked them a lot – fit as expected, light weight, colorfast, good zippers, etc.UPDATE: Two hard launderings – wash + dry – seems to have completely solved the problem. Very glad!ORIGINAL REVIEW: This order of 3 more smells like Febreze, which is a disgusting chemical odor, as well as a cause of sneezing & headaches. I will wash a few times to try and eliminate the smell, but Febreze chemicals are famously hard to get rid of.

Affordable, comfortable and quality made
I’ll admit my closet looks a little bit like I have an addiction to hoodies. I have purchased 5 of these in various colors. I wear them at work and during the odd winter/spring transitions that happen in the PNW where weather is predictably unpredictable. These are really quality with a lined hood, solid zipper and solid stitching. I love the lighter weight. It’s just right over a tee shirt and doesn’t get too hot. It is a men’s cut but I am a plus size woman with a 52″ chest and I have struggled to find quality plus clothing that is as practical, affordable and well made as many men’s clothing options, so here we are. I applaud Amazon for offering such options. As far as it being a men’s cut I have not found it to be too long in the torso or the arms and likewise have not had issues with too much fabric bunching under the arms. The “red” color I am reviewing is actually more of a coral pink and works great with a lot of spring outfits. I would recommend these to anyone and hope Amazon continues to offer them.

Coarse inside; “Full zip” non-French version better
I got this at the same time as another one listed as Amazon Essentials, except it’s listing was just plain “full zip”. This one (in black) is very thin, very coarse inside. The other one I got is heavier, soft inside, and seemingly nicer quality.Neither from Madagascar, this one was lavender Malaysia, the other Vietnam.

Different colors in the same size fit differently
Love the pink! Bought 2x love baggy and it’s a perfect fit. Bought heather oatmeal in 2x and it’s huge! At least two sizes bigger. Mislabeled? Goes past my knees and sleeves need to be cuffed twice. I kept it to tuck my knees to my chest under the hoodie when I’m on the couch. Nice weight, not for winter unless layering. I wonder if the Gray’s, blacks, dk. greens, etc. are larger than the lt. blues, pinks, yellows, etc? I hope not.UPDATE; I ordered another pink and this one is huge like the oatmeal colored one. The first pink hoodie was mislabeled I think though it fits better! Comfy and soft. Washes and dries without shrinking.

It has a great fit that is not too tight nor too loose, making it ideal for a variety of occasions. I was in search of a lightweight French terry zip hoodie for years that would be like the ones they used to sell at American Apparel (I literally wore my last one until there were holes and tears). I would say this is very similar in fit, weight and quality. I’m 6’1″ and 190lbs and would have preferred a slightly longer fit, but not at the expense of more bagginess, so this was the best size for me – I think it can actually stretch a bit. If you’re bigger or taller, don’t expect a long fit is what I’m saying.
