Customers say
Customers like the scratch resistance, performance, durability, and ease of installation of the pet activity structure. For example, they mention that it deters cats from scratching, works better than any sprays, and is made of sturdy material. That said, opinions are mixed on the pins, adhesion, and appearance.

Very Giod Priduct
I purchased two of the kids to protect a new couch from two of my cats who like to scratch. It attached very easily to the couch and has deterred them from scratching. This works much better than any sprays I have tried before.

Easy to apply
Loved the ease of assembly and the pins to keep it in place.

Nice quality
Very surprised that these adhered to our leather couch. I’m not sure how long they will stay on but for now I am resting easy that my cat can no longer sharpen her nails on the couch. The adhesion seems good and the material is sturdy.

Better Than the Alternatives
We did hours of internet research. We talked to vets. We bought the best scratching posts and pads in a variety of materials and scattered them around the house. We even laced them with a little catnip. But, naturally, kitty strongly prefers to dig her claws into all our brand new furniture. That’s where these things come in. They make the sofa and chairs almost impossible to scratch up, and so far they’ve kept our little darling hell demon from inflicting any further damage to the décor. The panels are good sized and easy to trim to whatever shapes you need. Installation is easy, and the price was really good compared to other options.Of course, they don’t do any aesthetic favors to our living room. They’re clear plastic and easy enough to overlook at first glance, but you definitely notice them if you get any closer than about two meters. They’ve got a high sheen, so they reflect light in unfortunate ways. Also, the adhesive isn’t particularly strong – good for the eventual removal from your upholstery, but the panels inevitably come detached if you bend them around a corner. The included pins help, but we’ve only found them to be moderately useful. (I’m generally not interested in putting MORE holes into my furniture. They might be okay on our knit upholstery, but they definitely won’t do any favors to our faux leather sofa.)Still, we prefer them to the sticky pads, which always seem to attract dirt and lint and become super unattractive after a few weeks. Our hope is that we can train the cat to use the scratching pads and stay away from the furniture over the next few months, and then pull these panels off the furniture. They’ll be fine in the short term, and it certainly beats the alternative of giving up and letting the cat tear everything to shreds.

Way to glossy, doesn’t stick well.
I had high hopes for this to stop our young cat from ruining our future, however this product has several issues.1. Does not stick well.2. The pins do not help much.3. They are way too glossy, which you can see in the photo.Great idea, just needs some improvement.

Works great – pins not discrete on dark fabric
These work great and have gotten my cats to stop scratching the arms of my couch. The pins are light colored, so are not discrete on dark favric, but I colored them black with a permanent market and they blend in fine with my very dark brown sofa now.

Protect your furniture!
Since I do not believe in declawing my cats I needed something to protect my new furniture. I bought these for my couch in January and now for my loveseat! They are perfect, just peel them off the sheet and stick them o. Your furniture in the most cat friendly spots. They are clear so they are not noticeable. They sure have saved my furniture!

Seems to work well
It definitely keeps the cats from scratching the furniture, and sticks pretty well. However the sticky side is a dust magnet, so when they get dirty you need to throw them away and stick on new ones. The surface is shiny, which makes them pretty obvious. I think more of a matte finish would help them blend in and not be so obvious.

This is the second time I’ve ordered these couch protectors as they really deter my two cats from scratching the sides and back of the couch and armchairs. Eventually they lose some of their stickiness and need to be replaced. Will definitely keep using these as long as I have cats.
