The perfect tan!
I was a bit skeptical at first but I went ahead and purchased. Glad I did! My legs never see the light of day and are often a few shades lighter than my arms. I read the directions and applied the lotion to my legs and feet. It smells good but does give off that “tanning bed smell” after a while. Doesn’t bother me. I will say, the next day (I applied at night before going to bed) my skin had a somewhat orange tint to it. But after showering it seemed to turn into a nice tan color. I apply once or twice a week and haven’t had any issues. I’ll definitely be buying more once this runs out!

Very nice tan, not impressed with smell or texture of lotion
I like the tan color you get from using this product. Very natural looking. The color lasts an extremely long time- about a week, however it does start to fade before then. I have freckles and sun spots all over my body and the foam tanner from other brands make those oddly dark- this product does not do that, which is a huge win. Doesn’t have a strong fake tan smell until about 8 ish hours after application, when color development is at its peak. One of the better self tanner ingredients on the market (I have used this since 2019 after researching safe cosmetics). There are two cons in my opinion, the initial smell of this lotion and the consistency/lotion texture. Doesn’t smell good when applying. Not sure what it smells like but it’s kind of nasty. Almost reminds me of a hair dye/toner. However the smell seems to dissipate/doesn’t linger. Secondly, it’s more watery during initial application and when you spread it on the skin it turns this cake-y white. The coverage area is small- a little doesn’t go a long way, constantly adding more to get all the skin “wet”, but you have to rub it in for a long time because it stays white on the skin. Similar to sun tan lotion. I honestly thought I had a bad batch so I reordered it but the second bottle had the same smell and consistency- so it’s just the way it is. Even with those two cons, I still love it and will continue to use because the pros outweigh the cons and I honestly haven’t found anything quite superior. While the product is not 100% perfect it’s still dang good in my opinion. Also use the drops by this brand for my face and I LOVE those, the smell is amazing. Wish this lotion had the same smell as their drops.

Because I relied so much on the product reviews given here, I wanted to add my own. For years I’ve used a cream bronzer, company’s first initial G, sold only in salons &spas. It’s no longer being offered, so I’ve hunted for a good substitute and this is it. Read the directions. Apply a thin layer to all the parts you want ‘tanned’, wait 15 minutes and then go about your business. Your skin will have a lovely, all-over tan, no orange. no streaks. Nice moisturizing feel, too. If you want to go darker, apply a second thin layer in a day or two. There’s a bit of a powdery smell but it’s very fleeting. A single coating lasts about a week.

For experienced CREAM self tanners
First off it works fast! Which for experienced cream self tanner users is awesome! Also it’s buildable. Important to fully read instructions and follow. Make sure to allow drying time, wear gloves and pay attention to application…this is not a lotion, it’s a self tanner cream. I wanted to love this as it worked so fast and as a seasoned self tanner I could tell I could let it dry and apply more to build my color. My biggest issue was being splotchy after a shower. Round 2 exfoliate again and give it another go, making extra sure everything is evenly covered & slept. Showered & splotchy. Round 3 1 coat…showered & splotchy. Good luck!

As per all of these other reviews this product is excellent and also works so nice on very pale skin looking natural and nice smell. I was able to use for our first few days of vacation so my legs didn’t look like walking ghosts ..travelling to sunny destinations from snowy winter.
I did not use a spreading glove as I find they get in the way and I cannot feel the amount of product rubbing in , instead I used only a small amount at a time (nickel size and rubbed in sections working my way last on the knees and elbows with minimal product to make sure it looked natural. I then washed my hands 3 times with soap in all the creases and next day my hands were fine no leftover product on fingers.

Have been using this tanner for years and it never disappoints. If you apply too much on your face it can appear a little orange, and on the hands as well. But it looks perfect when it fades. I love looking bronzed without the risk of sun damage. Will continue to buy!

Put this on immediately when I received it. First thought was a great smell cause so many of these self tanners smell awful. I loved that it went on in a white cream so it was very easy to see where the product was applied and that of course prevented streaking. Felt good on the skin. Only minor downside was having to wait 15 minutes before dressing. But that’s a minor issue. I’ve tried a lot of self tanners and this will be my go to this summer.
