6 reviews for btfarm 10 Pack Solar Ground Lights Outdoor, 8 LED Solar Disc Lights IP65 Waterproof Flat Solar Lights, Pathway Lights Solar Powered for Garden Lawn Patio Yard Path Landscape, Cool White
Unique design! These are awesome and bright! My mom likes bright white landscaping lights over warm white, so we picked some of these up for her to put around her deck. Man, what a great idea! These are pretty unique in that unlike most of these ‘puck’ solar lights on Amazon, they have a totally different mounting system…not just a spike that drives into mulch, these come with a very user-configurable system that allows you to mount a small bracket somewhere, then twist these lights onto the bracket to mount them. You can still use them like spike pucks where you just put the spike on the back and push it into the ground/mulch/etc., but you can also use these on vertical surfaces! My mom ended up putting these all around the outside of her deck and it lights up her whole back yard as they face outward, away from the deck, rather than just pointing up at the sky!Only caveat I would say is make sure that if you mount them vertically, you don’t have them facing in a direction away from the sun or in the shade. If you have them facing north, you can guarantee they will be shaded through most of the year and will struggle a bit to maintain a charge, so plan your install so they at least get some sun during the day.Great product. Excellent light source and easy to install. This is an easy one for me to recommend!!!
Easy and Effective Outdoor Lighting I’m really pleased with the BTFARM 6 Pack Solar Ground Lights! These lights are a fantastic addition to my garden and pathways. The 8 LED lights provide a cool white glow that’s bright and welcoming without being harsh.Installation was a breeze—just push them into the ground and let the sun do the rest. They charge during the day and automatically light up at night, which is super convenient. Plus, the IP65 waterproof rating means I don’t have to worry about them in the rain. They blend seamlessly into the landscape during the day and offer a lovely, subtle illumination at night. My yard looks great, and these lights have made navigating the garden paths much safer. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor space!
Bright white lights These are very bright lights which I like the white light. Came in a pack of 10 and has 2 ways to install. Has a screw on for a hard surface or the stakes into the ground. Could be used anywhere that has good sun. I put them around my pond. The only thing I didn’t like or had difficulty I should say is the pieces that snap into the bottom can be hard to push in. They slide sideways under the little tabs but some are tighter than others. I used a screwdriver to get some to completely close. Other that that these are great lights!
Missed it by that much…. I was trying to find away to light my backyard walkway and then I found these lights. I like that there are so many of them and they were easy to put together for the most part. I did have a little difficulty twisting on the flat piece to the back of light with the stake. Some of the lights were hard to twist. Some lights were charged already when they arrived others were not, so I put the lights in ground to charge in the direct sunlight and then I will arrange them the way I want them after they charge. I love solar lighting free energy from the sun, lots of light, no no stress on the Texas energy grid and bonus no electric bill!!! You got to love that!!! 6 Out of 16 lights did not come on but they had not charge for the needed 6-8 hrs. These lights were charged for ~2hrs and most of them came on after ~2hrs of charging in the sun. After 24 hrs in the Texas sun on July 4th it was a 100 degrees today and our backyard gets full sun all day long. Sadly , 6 lights out 16 did not come on. I checked to make sure they were in the on position. 5 were not in the on position. I turned them on. 5 out of 6 lights came on, but one did not. So one light is clearly defective. It would have been fantastic had all lights come on. Still looked cool, but it would have been perfect presentation if 100% of the lights worked.
Smaller than competitors, but same brightness These lights are similar in size of the lighted element, but have smaller footprint compared to the other brands of the ground sunlights. It came with a plastic plate which can be attached to a deck or even some walls with included screws and anchors, as well as with a ground stake. The pack of 6 lights had couple of extra stakes, screws and plate in case such spares would be needed, which is a nice touch. The plate should be twisted inside the back of the light to be attached to such light, then the stake screws itself to the hole on the plate. However, the plastic plate is some kind of hard to correctly align on the back of the light – I can imagine it would be problematic to complete this task for the deck installation. The stakes is solid and has a sword shape in comparison to the X shape of the older solar lights models, or the round shape of another set I recently got (see comparison in one of the photos). This sword-like shape helped to place the light in the ground and, I hope, will be sturdy enough to keep the light in place through the season.Once placed on the ground and fully charged, the lights were holding nicely and shine for several hours through the night.
Sturdy Quality, Bright, Easy Install, Work Great These disc shaped flat ground lights are super versatile and good quality. They can be easily installed just about anywhere outdoors where it’s dark and you need some extra brightness to see or where you want to highlight the landscaping at night. They all worked instantly out of the box and are super simple to just stick in the ground so long as it’s not solid rock. I didn’t want to risk putting them in the grass where we mow or having to deal with weeding, so I put most of them in our gravel bedding area that goes along the walkway so they still light up the area where everyone comes up the drive and walk to the side door, but they will be low maintenance with no trimming around them ever needed. And I put two of them under some small fir trees on either side of our house we planted as babies that are getting to be a nice size, so those shine up from below at night like a soft spotlight casting a lovely glow. The whole look is rather enchanting – the lights really beautify our home and make it much easier to see outside at night.
