Just enough room, packs down small, holds in heat
After using a bivouac type one-man tent, this tent has just enough height to sit up in which is great for setting up just before laying down for the night, or first thing in the morning before emerging from a temporary cave to face the day. There is just enough width for my air mattress, and water bottle and other small stuff on one side. There is also enough room at the head for extras like hat, gloves, sweater caps, etc.I used this tent for bike packing. The poles fold up shorter than my biv one-man tent. So the tent fits better on my rear rack⦠it sits fully on the rack without hanging over. The overall narrow width makes it easy to put up the tent in the smallest of spaces which opens up more potential placements at camp sites. The ground tarped vestibule is decent sized to keep shoes, jackets, helmet, pannier dry on one half while maintaining an area to get out and stand up. I pack a 5-ft x 8-ft tarp⦠when folded in half fits pretty well in the covered vestibule area. Great to keep your feet clean and thus the tent, sleeping bag too.The first night I slept in it was warm, so with the tent fully zipped up I was too warm. The next night I slept with the fly unzipped and tied back as shown in the picture. It vented very well. When the temperatures drops, it will be nice to retain more heat zipped up. The fabric is also heavier than some similar tents, which likely adds to the heat retention (and durability). The heavier material is reflected in the weight. At 4-lbs, itâs no lightweight, but is reasonable for the durable fabric. Better IMO than super light, thin fabric. This really is a 3-4 season tent⦠will be great in the Pacific Northwest where it gets cold, but not frigid as long as Iâm below the snow line. The tension straps work super slick. I attach the tie downs to the fly and leave them there, so I just put the loop around the stake, tension the line by sliding the plastic clip towards to tent and lock the cord into the clip. Done. When it comes time to pack up, I just pull the cord down. It unlocks, de tensions and thatâs it.There storage pockets on the side and the one overhead is great to put a watch in, glasses, lights, phone, cyclo computer, charger, etc.All in all, it checks the boxes for what I need.âï¸ durable and warmâï¸ Packs down smallâï¸ reasonably light weightâï¸ big enough, with minimal footprint areaâï¸ perfect sized covered vestibule areaâï¸ Inexpensive ( about 40% less than another tent I was considering which was a little lighter (less durable and true 3-season tent)I will have to see how it handles the rain. I do have a footprint for it from a different manufacturer. Fits perfectly and should protect against wet ground. So as long as the fly sheds water well, it should be cozy and dry. Iâll problem seal the seams and spray the fly.

Great Value – Great Starter Solo Tent
Bought for a solo bike packing trip. Wanted to minimize size and weight. What a value! Seams are taped (except for around the bathtub, no big deal – do it yourself), material is not the very light weight stuff, light enough and feels durable. Set up is a breeze. Sufficient room inside for me and my sleep system plus a FEW necessities/incidentals. Fly vestibule is small-ish, but sufficient. You could cook in it with one side open, or store a backpack. Haven’t tried it in rain/heat yet, but anticipate it will be wholly adequate. For the price this is a very good starter tent for solo backpacking.

Good value for the money, but be careful about the size
I bought this tent for the rare situations when I want the smallest enclosed tent possible. Even though a 2-person tent doesn’t take up much more space in a pack than a 1-person tent, sometimes you just need to save every cubic inch. For those cases, this tent is just fine. The good:* It’s small. Inside the included compression sack, it’s about the size of a loaf of sliced bread â maybe a shade larger. It’s also very light.* It’s dead simple to put together. Without even reading the instructions, it took me maybe two and a half minutes to set up. I’m not bragging, there’s just not much to figure out here.* Taped seams: I haven’t tried it in the rain, but getting taped seams at this price is very nice.* Comes with a hanging organizer, which you will certainly need, because there’s no room to store anything in here (for example, laying your eyeglass on the ground next to you would be a terrible idea in this very cramped tent). The bad:* I’m 5’10, 250 lbs, and if I lay down in it with my arms at my sides, my elbows touch the sides of the tent. In a sleeping bag, I’m pretty much squeezed in like a sardine. I know, I know: I bought a small tent, that’s the whole point. But if it were like… 10% larger, I think it’d be just about perfect.* It does not feel especially durable. Time will tell on this, but I suppose you get what you pay for.* Because of the size, you can pretty much only sit up in one spot, right in the middle of the tent. Again, that’s what you get with a small tent, but the center of the tent is where the organizer hangs, so if you’re storing anything, you can’t even sit up without bumping into it.* I’d love to have another organizer pocket somewhere in the tent, because, as mentioned, you can’t store anything on the ground.Overall, though, happy with the purchase at this price.

Light, Fast, Well Made
Perfect for Moto or Bicycle touring. I ordered this tent two days before a trip and didn’t even open or set it up before I packed it in my bag. No problem, it takes about two minutes to set up, had just enough room to stretch out inside (5’10”) and some space for gear you wish to keep inside. There is enough room under the rain fly to keep additional items outside the sleeping space but still protected from rain. While I didn’t get rain during my three day Florida moto-camping adventure (Blackwater State Forest and vicinity), it was quite cold. Night time temps in the upper 30’s with pretty high humidity. In the morning I found some condensation inside the tent. While waiting for water to boil, I un-staked the tent, picked it up and shook out the dirt and water, 30 minutes in the sun and it was dry. One of the best features was that I was easily able to pack it back in to the supplied carry case. This tent does not have a water proof “tub” type floor so if you expect rain, erect on some high ground to avoid seepage underneath. Overall, very pleased with ease of set up, stability and pack size. Highly recommend for solo camping whether on foot or on wheels.

As a seasoned camper always on the lookout for gear that strikes the perfect balance between weight and functionality, this lightweight tent has proven to be a game-changer for my outdoor adventures. This tent combines innovative design, durable materials, and featherlight construction to deliver an exceptional camping experience.First and foremost, the weight of this tent is a standout feature. Weighing in at just a few pounds, it’s a backpacker’s dream. I no longer feel the burden of a heavy pack when carrying this tent, making long hikes to remote campsites more enjoyable and less strenuous. The lightweight design does not compromise on durability; the materials used are robust, ensuring the tent withstands the rigors of various environments.Setting up this tent is a breeze, thanks to its intuitive design. Even solo campers will appreciate the simplicity of the process. The tent’s freestanding design means that it can be easily moved and repositioned until you find the perfect spot, adding to its user-friendly nature. The mesh panels provide excellent ventilation, preventing condensation buildup during the night. Additionally, the rainfly does an admirable job of keeping the interior dry during unexpected rain showers.Durability is a key consideration for any tent, and it excels in this aspect. The ripstop fabric and reinforced seams inspire confidence that this tent will stand up to the elements over time. Zippers are smooth and reliable, and the bathtub-style floor prevents water seepage even in wet conditions. In conclusion, this lightweight tent has become my go-to shelter for all my camping escapades. Its winning combination of weight, durability, and ease of use makes it a top choice for backpackers and campers alike. If you’re in search of a reliable and lightweight tent that enhances your outdoor experience, it is a stellar investment. Highly recommended!

Recently came back from a camping trip with my bros up in the north shore mountains of British Columbia Canada. The tent held up perfectly in some pretty strong winds at night and had no issues with the snow. Super easy to set up and take apart. I highly recommend this little tent.

Was looking for a compact tent for motorcycle trips. This thing is just the right size. Packs up small, but has enough room when I’m solo. The one thing you need to know is that there isn’t any extra room in it. I’m 6′ tall and I cal lay in it flat and sit up without touching the tent. But that is it. There is just enough room in under the rain fly, outside of the tent to store a couple things out of the rain.
