Cover girl was always been a great brand. It’s just easier to buy it and have a come to your door instead of go into the drugstore and they have higher prices.

Light feel on the skin
It was my first time trying this product and I was a little hesitant because I have been using the regular Cover Girl Press powder for Thirty years. This one is very light with an earthy smell Not the same sent you. Are used to. This product contains no talcum And as much lighter on your skin.

Classic clean
I’ve been a Cover Girl fan since my teens. Always liked the clean look and feel of the products.
This powder was perfect for my combination skin.
I don’t like full coverage, just enough is good for me. This powder fit the bill.

CoverGirl – still a favorite…
Been using CoverGirl for years! How they got the shade just right is beyond me but it was perfect.
Not surprised it was available … so I’ll be reordering more for sure.

Here are a few key points from my wife:
The colour match with her skin was nearly bang on. She is quite fair, so in combination with the rest of her makeup routine, this finishing powder didn’t make her skin tone seem too pale or ghostly.
The powder itself feels velvety and light, and it isn’t difficult to work with. Powders can sometimes be the wrong choice for older skin, but she didn’t get the impression that this would be an issue with this particular powder moving forward.
It has a natural mattifying effect and doesn’t feel cakey as the day goes on — although you have to be careful/gentle with touch ups. The included pad with the compact also has a nice quality feel to it.
She did feel like she had to change up her technique a bit around the eyes and nose in terms of how the powder would set, but this was more about personal preference than the effectiveness of the product itself.
For the most part, my wife seems pretty happy with this product. So if she is happy, I am happy. While she’s not 100% sure that this will replace her current go-to powders, this is definitely one that she’ll continue to keep in the mix before reaching a final decision.
