This is an awesome watch and looks do sleek. Works perfectly on my iPhone and does everything as it describes. Quality seems to be good and battery life lasts. I highly recommend this purchase !

Husband loves his watch but…..
The watch itself is beautiful however the charger cable has been misplaced and we cannot find a replacement anywhere. We purchased a replacement cable for the same watch and the one that came did not fit or meet up with the pins, therfore we could not charge his watch. We are at a loss as to what to do.Edit…. we were finally able to find replacement chargers here on Amazon that actually work with the watch. All is well.

Service on a return was good
I had to return a watch that broke shortly after I purchased it. There was no problem at all. I was shipped a replacement the same day I contactedAmazon, and my replacement watch was in my hands the very next day. Great service and the watch is a good product!

Cheap material and a lack of customer service.
9/28/23Let me start by saying that I wanted to love this watch, and I truly did for several months.I ordered this watch in February and chose it specifically because of the stainless steel band(can’t stand those rubber smartwatch bands) and also because it’s aesthetic is far more traditional and low-key than the mainstream smart watches.Considering it is roughly 1/4th of the price of name brand smart watches, I fully expected it to not be perfect. After all, you get what you pay for. I expected some flaws and I was absolutely okay with that for the price.Originally, I really liked it. I liked the simplicity of the watch, app, and settings. I was able to adjust everything to where I wanted it and the fully customizable face screen was fun to design. I even put a meme on it which was a huge hit with my friends. It came with a warranty card from the seller that included a 2 year warranty that was not mentioned in the listing, and a tool to adjust the band size in case your wrist is not the same size as the band.Unfortunately, this watch only lasted about 6 months. There were a few times throughout that period when the watch would disconnect from the band on one side due to a hard impact(for reference: while using a hammer at work, boxing practice, one time I smacked a mosquito that was on my leg and the watch fell off). To it’s credit, the face never cracked and always worked properly, and the first couple times it came apart I was able to get the hinge piece back in and it held together. After about 5 months the black paint began coming off and stained my wrist for several days. The pins holding the clasp also started to stick out regularly, I would just push them back in and move on but it became more and more frequent. In mid July I was at a show and after the performance when everyone was clapping, the watch came off again -with considerably less pressure than the previous times- and while trying to put the hinge back in, it snapped and the spring inside it came out. Clearly, without buying a new hinge for it, I couldn’t fix that.I emailed the customer support contact from the sellers warranty card and asked if the band would be covered under the warranty and if I could get a replacement. I didn’t want a refund, just a band or at least a hinge piece. Initially they emailed back within a few hours and I was quite impressed with the speed. They asked for photos and I sent them the very same images I am adding to this review. That was on August 10th. Since then, radio silence. I emailed a second time on August 23rd asking for an update. Still no answer. I would have accepted it if that was not covered under the warranty, if they offered me only the hinge and I had to fix it myself, or if they’d offered a refund or discount code for a new one, but instead I have been ignored and the customer service team has made it clear what their priorities are and their priorities are not customer satisfaction. I am not usually the type to leave reviews but I am hoping this will get somebody’s attention and I can at least get an answer. I will update if they contact me.At least I bought the protection plan.Update:3/6/24 – I received an email from the company, they said they somehow missed my last two emails but wanted to ‘resolve the issue’ specifically so I would change this review. They asked if they could send me a replacement and I accepted the offer, after all, I still hadn’t gotten a refund or anything so figured why not. They seemed very apologetic and had a new watch sent out within 24 hours. I was originally fairly happy with the outcome since at this point I had pretty much accepted that they would never contact me. That’s where the good ends.On March 8th they informed me that the watch had been shipped. I thanked them and said I’d keep an eye out for it. They immediately responded and asked me to change my review. I told them I would update my review after I had received it and gotten a chance to use it and make sure it was working properly since I don’t leave reviews often and when I do I absolutely will not leave one when I haven’t used or even received the item yet.By March 12th they began accusing me of conning them since I had not changed my review yet. Again, I told them I would update it when I’d used the watch which I hadn’t yet because my life does not revolve around a watch. I confirmed I’d received it and was waiting for my day off to play around with it.March 13 &14, I had now received 5 repeat emails asking me to change my review. I asked them to please stop spamming my email. I had every intention of updating my review and at this point it would have been 3-4 stars.Unfortunately, when I went to adjust the watch band so I could wear it the adjuster tool snapped so I haven’t been able to use the watch yet since I’d need to find my old adjuster tool and I just moved so I have no idea where it is. Again, my life doesn’t revolve around a watch and to be fair I’d already waited 8 months for a response so I don’t think it’s unfair for them to wait for me to actually use the product. That’s the jist of the response I sent back.I then went on to receive

5 minutes in and already annoyed
So these are cheap compared to the 300+ you will pay for the high end watches. That is not necessarily a bad thing. There are several cons to this watch:1. Chinese App – for some of us there is a serious trust issue with Chinese software and all the hacking going on so you should factor that into your decision to by this watch. I would also add that the app wants to access all your data.2. Watch faces – meh – So the gallery has a lot of “clip art” faces. These are those funcky modern art faces with weird designs of animals and psychedelic patterns. I do like the watch faces you get with a Fossil watch far better. They tend to be more elegant in appearance and the ones with this watch very juvenile.3. The app only stores 5 watch faces at any given time. Again, really?? My Gen 3 Fossil stored 25 watch faces and could have stored more but those were all I initially wanted. They should be stored in app. And saving data to your phone, you need to grant the app permission for this but it is not obvious how without giving unlimited access.4. You have to be connected to the watch to download watch faces in the app. Really?? To me this is really dumb but also not truly uncommon. I open the app and if my watch is not nearby, less than 15 ft., no luck.5. The app wants access to your photos, contacts, location, and just about everything else. Again, Really?? With the data breaches Google has had, why would I give them unfettered access to my personal data? I sure do not feel comfortable giving such broad access to the Da Fit App. For me this is a huge reason not to buy.6. The housing and watch band feel kind of plasticy but are in fact metal. I am not a fan of plastic bracelet bands as they always break and some are a pain to find a metal replacement for.So for the pros:1. Some of the holiday faces are kinda nice.2. Easy to install and set up.3. The app is easy to navigate.4. The price is only $50. That can be a savings of over $300 when compared to a Fossil Gen 6.5. Battery life. I have worn this watch for a week and the battery is at 60%.So far the cons outweigh the pros for me and that is a bit of a disappointment.
