Nice Solar Cable spliiter
I have 2 25Watt solar panels and used this splitter/combiner to connect the 2 to my solar wiring and it works great. Well made and solid connections. Very easy to install and so far they are doing what they need to do. Good price too.

Excellent, functional, solid product.
Sometimes you want more voltage, sometimes you want more amps.These allow you to combine two solar panels together in parallel to deliver more amps at the same voltage. Ideally you’d use these with two matched solar panels of the same voltage output, otherwise you’ll be limited to the lowest voltage panel.Just functional tools here, but useful depending on the power station or MPPT controller you are plugging into.

For $7.99 its a good deal on an MC4 y splitter cable. The description has changed to something other than this, so I’m not sure what’s going on.How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean:1 STAR – Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could.2 STAR – It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again.3 STAR – It does what it was designed to do, but there’s nothing really special about it. It’s acceptable but not great.4 STAR – I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again.5 STAR – I really love it. Electrician here. These are standard sized connectors for solar panels. One must be sure of one’s needs, as these are for a parallel connection. The usual connection for multiple panels is a series connection. If one is not certain of one’s needs, consult a professional. If one does need a parallel connection between series runs, these will do nicely, and affordably.

Good for combining a pair of solar panels to an Enphase inverter
Connector seems well made and does good combining 2 solar panels into one.I picked up a couple really cheap pair of 225 watt solar panels and only had one extra Enphase inverter. I was able to combine both 225 watt panels which gave me 450 watts to my max input of 460 watt inverter to make one large solar panel out of a couple of dirt cheap ones. The solar panels don’t really produce at max output anymore since they are a few years old and have issues. I was able to get 365 watts generated per hour max using this combiner and happy with it, saved me lots of money getting another enphase inverter.The cables don’t bend real well but appear to be very well built and click and snap as they should with my existing 250 watt panels. They measure roughly 12″ from end to end which works fine for my situation. All in all, I would recommend these cables if you are looking to combine a couple panels like I was and save some money!

Great for connecting panels in parallel
Great cable for solar panels in parallel. I’ve only used them a few times so far, but the connections hold and don’t slip. I like the length, they shipped quickly, and are a bargain for the price. I just got another solar panel and will be getting another one of these cables to connect it. I hope this helps.

Consequently I am always on the lookout for connectors and couplers.This is a coupler/splitter that will work on some of my solar panels.
