I ordered this skirt as part of an outfit for Thanksgiving. I paired it with brown tights, a lighter top, and a tan cardigan. It goes higher on the waist than I originally thought but it was really cute. Not too short. I am 54 and have short legs, so maybe on a taller person- it might be a little bit shorter. I really liked the material for fall. I probably wouldnât wear it in the summer or spring. The pattern was nice and it matches the picture and was as described. It is well-made and the fabric is nice.

Great fit, but zipper got stuck and broke off
Upon first try-on, I was quite happy with the product. It fit me very well (got a Large; 32″ waist and 42″ hips), but it is a bodycon pencil skirt so there was no stretch, and hugged all around me. Perhaps a bit tight for my liking around the bottom, but appeared it would not have an issue staying where it needed to. The skirt looked really cute and the fabric felt nice.Unfortunately, when it came time to wear it out, the zipper got stuck and would not come undone (would not move up or down). I thought it would be no big deal because I dealt with stuck zippers before, but wow was it a struggle I was not expecting. It’s hard to get out of the skirt once you zip it up, as the waist is about 32-33″ and not stretchy at all, so with my proportions, it would not fit over my hips or up my chest. Essentially, I was stuck in the skirt until I could get the zipper unstuck. Amid my struggle, I sat down to take a breather and the zipper came off one side of the tracks. Overall, the tightness of it made the problem difficult to navigate (but again, it is bodycon). If you can manage to not get the zipper stuck or can successfully get it undone, then it’s not a big deal. Overall would have been happy with the product.

This is a really cute skirt. I ordered 2 sizes and ended up keeping the bigger one for a more professional look. However, im not sure that this skirt would have the best longevity. After one or two washes it got all balled up and looks very used.

Cute skirt, but not for curvy girls
I’m 5’4 and curvy with a pretty drastic hips-to-waist ratio, so skirts like this are difficult for me. I initially ordered a large, and while it fit in the waist, it was WAY too tight in the hips/butt. There is no stretch or give in this skirt. So I returned it for an XL, where I had the opposite problem: fit in the hips/butt, but way, way too big in the waist. I’ve decided to keep it and alter the waist because it’s such a cute skirt and I want it to work so badly. Just be aware of this if you’re also a curvy girl!

I bought one of these skirts and then immediately came back to buy three more once it was delivered and I confirmed my size! These skirts are so cute and are exactly as pictured. In total, I bought three wool and one tweed. The wool skirts are all sooo comfy and are consistent in sizing. The tweed, however, was slightly tighter and the fabric was very itchy, so I unfortunately had to return. It was adorable, though, and I really wanted to make it work! The skirts are all lined, have a zipper closure, and feel much more expensive than they actually were. Overall, I am really pleased.With regard to fit, I am 5’4″ with a 34″ waist and 45″ hips. I went with an XL, and it fits as expected. The XL is a little too roomy in my waist, but a L would have been too tight in my hips. I don’t struggle with the skirt falling down due to my hip size, but it does ride up a bit if I am carrying a bag that’s rubbing up against it, so I do find myself adjusting it every so often. The roominess in the waist allows me to be able to tuck sweaters, though, so it’s fine and manageable! I am fairly modest in how I dress, and I think this is the perfect length for a short skirt at my height, going about an inch below my finger tips. It is long enough for me to wear to the office and to church without hesitation.

Normally Iâm a medium, which is what I got here. Itâs too small. So Iâm sending back and have ordered a large. Other than that itâs super cute, thick and lined. Hopefully large will do the trick.
