One star for every year of abuse my first pair survived
My first pair lasted five winters of daily wear before the heel seam finally split in year six. I probably could have gotten another year or two out of them if I was more gentle putting them on and taking them off.As you can see from my photos, I replaced them just in time. We got hit with 8″ shortly after my new pair arrived.* They’re durable, warm, and comfortable once broken in.* I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 wide, and the size 11 fits well even with thick winter socks.* They were a little tight in width at first, but they loosen up after a couple of weeks of wear.* The tread is decent and they get pretty good traction in snow and mud.* Made in Canada. Obviously made in USA is my first choice, but Canada is a fine runner up. Besides, I figure they probably know a thing or two about snow boots.Make sure to check the different variations if you’re looking for a deal. The price can vary by $20+ between different styles/colors.TL;DR: High quality, good value winter snow boots. My first pair lasted five years and I liked them enough to order a second pair.

Excellent waterproof cold weather boot at an affordable price
I was looking for a warm pair of boots I could slip on in a hurry to take out the trash or snow blow the driveway without taking the time to lace them up. These have been more than great for that. I recently have started using them more than my high dollar lace up winter boots because how easy they are to get on and how warm they keep my feet. IĂ¢Â€Â™ve taken them Ice fishing in 0 degree temps standing on the ice and snow and my feet stay warm and dry with a good quality sock. I wear them in the garage or around the house when its cold or muddy. I wear them when I shore fish to keep my feet warm and dry and I can eaisy slip them off and put on my tennis shoes when i get back to the truck. The tread is great and provides great traction in the snow and ice, although a pair of ice cleats really helps on the slick ice. They can be a bit warm if its not cold outside. I find them reasonable to wear as long as its not warmer than 60 degrees outside, otherwise my feet get to warm. I purchased these boots on prime days and got a great price on them. Before I bought these, I had visited the local big box stores for a pair of waterproof boots and everything I found was over $100. When I saw these on sale, I bought them based on their reviews and price and couldn’t be happier. I’ve used them a bunch this winter and they are holding up well. I imagine they will last a handful of winters more.The only negative about these boots is they only come in whole sizes. I wear a 9.5 and I ordered a 10, they are a bit big all around, but manageable. I wasnĂ¢Â€Â™t interested in ordering a 9 to find out they were to snug and have to return them and miss out on the prime days price. To remedy this extra room, I purchased a $10 pair of felt insoles that help provide a bit snugger fit and add extra warmth. I also wear thick winter socks and that helps snug them up. The slip on style of these boots allows my feet to move around slightly while walking, I wouldnĂ¢Â€Â™t recommend long hikes or running in these boots.

Waterproof insuated boots
If you need insulated boots that are waterproof, as in standing in a foot of water and your feet stay dry waterproof, these are a good pick. They are basically a rubber boot with an insulated liner inside, and a drawstring closure on top to keep snow and debris out.These are not extreme cold weather boots, but work good as cold weather chore boots, for as long as I’m moving around some, my feet are OK down to zero degrees F or a bit below.They are slip on boots, the drawstring does not tighten the boot itself, but just the top fabric around your leg. Comfort is average to a bit above average, the liner adds some padding. The liners are removable as well. Totally waterproof until you go deep enough that water runs over the top. Durability is good, they last me a bit over a year of cold weather chores. These are a good choice for general chores, ice fishing, etc, but wouldn’t be my first choice for all day walking. For that, I would recommend the Kamik Huntsman, which at the end of the day, are as good to my feet as a hiking shoe.Fit is about what you’d expect, a hair loose with thin socks, just right with medium to medium heavy socks, and a bit snug with super thick socks. Mine are marked made in Canada, my Huntsmans are marked made in USA.Pluses:Warm, durable, easy on/off, truly waterproof, reasonably priced for what you get, North American made.Minuses:A bit stiff/heavy compared to some, the boot is just a slip on, so it does not snug up as tight as one with laces/buckles.

The quality of these boots for the price are fantastic. They feel very well put together, are comfortable, are warm in the winter, and seem to hit well above their price tag. Size is very close to expected, maybe running 1/4 to 1/2 small. Fully recommend and will probably buy more in the future.

Great Warm Shoe at Fantastic Price
Based on other reviews, here’s my initial summary after week of feeding animals in 0° -20 wind chill okla.Warm! The foam inner liner is great. No need for hot toe warmers like local rubber shoes at same price from box store.Fit. I have 10.5-11 narrow feet. 12 boot with wool socks are perfect fit. Just right.Use. Walking around animals feeding them, walking with dog up to a mile. Sitting on old school dozer with track brake levers, duck blind. All perfect for this boot. Not so perfect: where u need ‘feel’ in the shoe bottom for a brake or gas pedal. So would not use on our old skid steer where shoe pedals work boom and bucket. Absolutely not: car or truck on road. Slip off and use lined slip on shoes. Also, please no climbing trees into deer seats! ATVs, would be warm all day but that foot shift pedal????

I like that there true to size..and feel great..I just received them..didn’t get to put them to the test yet..but I’m sure they will be great..will update you when I get to use them for a while..but so far..extremely happy..wanted a pair of thesse boots for years..but they were always a little to much money..Thank-You for your sale prices..helped me get something I wanted for a long time..!!

While trying to slip my feet into the boots, I was shocked that they are heavy, big and stiff. Had trouble walking in the first few minutes, but after a while, I adapted, getting used to a different walking style. The sole is thick rubber with deep grooves, the kind used for tires? No smell. Water-proof, warm and heavy-duty: definitely. It’s one serious pair of winter boots. I keep them for those special days of deep snow or icy flood. I wouldn’t drive with these boots on as they restrict movement of the foot. Taking 1/2 size up, the fit is ok, allowing a bit of room for heavy socks if necessary.Currently, they are placed in plain view (to people peeking through the glass door) to show potential intruders that there is an incredible hulk living here.
