7 Months Post Partum in need of repair
I don’t know how people get compensated for reviews, so I’m not one of them. I read countless reviews on products and did extensive research before buying this.My problems: 1- lost significant tightness after my lovely daughter was born 7 months ago, my husband obviously notices and it saddens me. 2- I also pee a bit when I laugh, Sneeze or cough with a full bladder. 3 – My Pelvic muscles have been very week and noticeably sore when I lift my leg to put on socks or try to push something with my foot.I love that this premium option is seamless, comfortable, clean, and the string is also reinforced…which tells me they listened to their reviewers and fixed the few downsides. Please note there are 2 versions on this, it took me a bit to see it.I posted the picture with the tampon so you could see size since I wondered.I currently can’t keep the lowest weight in very well, but after showering with it in I do feel a bit more muscle control. I’m up for the challenge to conquer the heaviest weight and very hopeful for some great results.EDIT 5 years later: I was most diligent using these after my original review. I moved up to just starting to use the 4th weight size over a 6 month period. My use of them wasn’t as regular by the time I got to the 4th weight, so it was a little slow going between weights 3-4. However, my husband noticed a big difference by the time I hit the 3rd weight size. After my 2nd and 3rd children, I used the weights, but I got back to kind of normal”Ish” and lost my diligence. I’m a bit busier with 3 kids than I was with 1. I am now pregnant with my 4th and planned final child, so I’m setting my mind to use them with my original determination…knowing I won’t be starting all over AGAIN. I will only be maintaining at weight 3 during pregnancy to help keep the incontinence in check.

The Challenge of These Depends Upon the Activity
So, the product is beautifully packaged (although the velvet storage pouch is almost too small to hold all six weights.) Each weight is well-made and smooth, easy to insert, etc. I am a 51 year old woman, entering menopause, with one child via C-section. I bought these as more of a preventative health measure as I do not currently have any issues. I did feel with my last partner that maybe I was not as tight as I was in younger years but he never had any complaints.I followed the instructions and tried each one for two minutes beginning with the white. They were all doable for two minutes, no problem. So I had to work my way backwards starting with the fifth one. I ended up going with the 2nd one for just a few days and then on to the 3rd one for a little over a week. Feeling really confident, I went up to the fourth one and decided to take the dog out for a short walk; I barely made it to the corner when to my dismay it started to slip out! Yikes!So, here is my advice. Keep in mind that while wearing in the house doing housework or taking a shower it is easy to hold these in. Even folding laundry, doing dishes, walking around my condo, all seemed fine. It’s a whole different thing to actually take a walk. Very difficult. I am on the 4th one inside the house. When I feel super confident then I will try to actually take a walk. I have found that it’s pretty hard to isolate the pelvic floor muscles while walking. When you are doing housework you are stopping and starting, standing and moving, which allows you to keep it in check. I can’t say that these are helping me yet but I feel optimistic that they will work as intended. Just remember that certain activities make it infinitely more challenging. At 51, I am pretty pleased that I can do #4 for fifteen minutes, no problem. I don’t doubt that I’ll be on the next levels within weeks. Good luck!Update 11-2-17 I’ve been using a little over a month, I guess, and I am now on the 5th one. It’s increasingly easy. I do think that I am now more aware of those pesky little muscles. I also seem able to grip this and draw it up and in when it does begin to slip. I think these are a good investment for women of all ages, especially following childbirth. Don’t despair if it’s difficult at first! I will move on to the heaviest weight soon and then do maintenance exercises from here on out, just like any other exercise.

I have pelvic organ prolapse and I wish I had found these years ago. They are smooth, easy to use and actually work. After doing exercises and Kegels ad infinitum this finally turned on the lights for me. Still using the first one but I can already tell that NOW I am on a path to recovery. Excellent product!

I had my first child at age 29. I was very fit before and during my pregnancy — running, crossfit until week 39 of the pregnancy, swimming, etc. I had a super fast and easy vaginal birth (only minor tears, and just 2-3 pushes to get the baby out). My midwife kept emphasizing how fast and healthy my body was. Until 3 or 4 weeks after the birth, I started feeling loads of pelvic floor symptoms. I felt like organs were falling into my vagina, I felt pelvic spasms, and ‘heaviness’ in my pelvic floor after just a few hours of standing. I started googling and became really worried that I had mild prolapsed organs. I visited two gynecologists who told me everything was “normal” and brushed me off. I was furious, frustrated, and probably, experiencing some symptoms of post-partum depression thinking that my active lifestyle would be over after just one baby. Finally, I made an appointment with a pelvic floor specialist and was given physiotherapy. My physiotherapist recommended I look for vaginal weights, and I stumbled upon Intimate Rose. I honestly think these made more of a difference than the 10+ sessions of physiotherapy.I started on weight level 3, and it took maybe 6 weeks to get up to level 4 (using them every single day for 15 minutes while showering and getting ready). Now, after 3 months, I am on level 5 and use them for 20-25 minutes per day. I have seen great improvement. Finally, I am able to actually do a pelvic floor contraction and feel my muscles. I also feel much tighter during sex. I don’t think my mild prolapse has gone away, but at least I don’t feel the pelvic floor spasms anymore, I don’t have any incontinence issues, and I feel myself getting stronger, which has made a great difference in my mental health. I highly recommend to any woman who has had a baby. I am planning to gift this to all of my friends who get pregnant. My biggest regret is not strengthening my pelvic floor muscles before and during the pregnancy — maybe it would have prevented a mild prolapse.

I’m really pleased with this product. They arrived very quickly with minimal packaging, in a discrete, hard wearing box. I was a bit worried before I got the weights, that they might be uncomfortable or scratchy, difficult to use or to get out again once I had put them in! However they are really easy to insert and are completely smooth so really comfortable to use and easy to pull out! They are also easy to clean as they have no edges. I have a 4 month old baby so I started on the ivory weight which took me a few times to keep in – I had to build up to the 15 mins. I’m really pleased with the results so far as I wasn’t getting anywhere by just doing pelvic floor exercises alone. I have also found it really easy to fit into my morning and evening routine. Very happy and looking forward to having an uber efficeint pelvic floor!!
