Good stones for the money!
I bought this set and used it to sharpen three knives of varying degrees of dullness. The stones did a fantastic job on my two hunting/bushcraft knives, but only fair to middling with my santoku chef’s knife. That particular knife may well be a lost cause: it has several nicks and has just been a bear to keep sharp. But while the stones did a decent job reducing the severity of the nicks, the knife may simply need a whole new edge. All in all I am satisfied with the kit. Recommend.

Sharpen a pocket knife or wood chisel to shaving edges!
If you know how to really sharpen a knife (my dad taught me), you can put a razor’s edge on a knife. And the chisel sharpener is great…it could be a little longer to match the angle better but will still put a great edge on a chisel. A great sharpening system!

Good for Beginners
The Knife Sharpening Stone Set is a great tool for anyone who needs to keep their knives sharp and in top condition. One of the things I like about this kit is the range of grit options available, which allows for versatile sharpening and honing of a variety of knives. The non-slip bamboo base is also a nice addition, providing a stable surface for sharpening and ensuring safety during use.I found that the stones were of good quality and held up well over time. They produced a nice, even slurry that helped to sharpen my knives quickly and efficiently. Additionally, the kit comes with a helpful angle guide that made it easy to hold my knives at the correct angle for optimal sharpening. While I did have some initial difficulty getting the stones wet, this was easily resolved with some additional soaking time. The kit is also easy to clean and store, making it a convenient addition to any kitchen or workshop.Overall, the Knife Sharpening Stone Set is a great product that delivers on its promises. While it may take a bit of practice to get the hang of using it, once you do, you’ll be able to keep your knives sharp and in top condition with ease.

5/5 stars
haven’t used the gloves or anything else other than the stones but they work just fine and I’ve used them for a while now

Excellent Customer Service
The stones seem to be fine but the honing guide is terrible. You would be better off buying the stones and honing guide separately.UPDATEProduct didn’t meet my standards but the customer service was above and beyond!

A good value for entry level sharpening needs
A well packed set that includes all you need to get started into sharpening knive and tools. The chisel and planer guide which helps you set the proper angles is a bit limited in allowing you to set chisels in place. Thinner chisels work adequately but if the metal is thicker you will be frustrated. The indent to hold the chisel in the proper attitude is too narrow for the thicker tools. The instructions have some very small print of necessary information. I needed a magnified glass to be able to read. That information was also found on the angle guide eventually. The stones are nice and well marked for their grit. The holder and bamboo base marry well with the stones.Watch YouTube videos and have at it. I was able to shave hair after some practice. My next set will probably have diamond stone once I acquire adequate woodworking skills.

A good peice of kit for the price comes with a look, unfortunately mine came without the angle guide for knives, so is no good for me till I can get one, and I wouldn’t trust the gloves to be “level 5” as it doesn’t show any of the test markings that cut resistant gloves should have

As per the title also the knife holder doesn’t actually hold the knife angle. It let’s the knife move around inside it so useless to use.

Didn’t receive the green bar or the chisel jig very disappointed as the leather strop was fake leather and very flimsy
