Smartphone car mount: Mounts your smartphone to any…
Customers say
Customers like the performance and ease of installation of the portable electronic device mount. For example, they mention it works well, is easy to install, and doesn’t clutter their car. Some are happy with grip, and appearance. That said, opinions are mixed on magnet strength, quality, fit, and value.

Works great
I’ve had one of these for years and just purchased a 2nd for our other vehicle. Definitely follow the instructions on cleaning the surface of your phone prior to placing the magnet on the back of your phone, otherwise the adhesive will not stick securely. The magnet always holds my phone in place even on bumpy roads. It’s never fallen off. I’d definitely recommend this product.

if it fits well with your car, get it!
pretty awesome idea. this isn’t the only product like it, but this one is well built and it looks pretty cool. i have the logitech magnetic stand too and i ended up switching to this one because of less footprint. the only downside for me is that it covers a vent when you really want your AC going. but its a fair trade off to me. if it fits your car well (i have a acura mdx), get it!!

THESE ARE WEAK. DONT BUY.
The magnets are too weak to securely hold a phone securely in a car. Wont use. Even rotating the phone from vertical to horizontal while on the magnet doesn’t feel secure. I’ve used 2 other brands with much stronger magnets. I bought one because it was only $5 but is not worth it. I should have know since their ad does not brag about magnet strength like others do. The 2-leaf grip with thick rubber did grip the air-vent very securely, while my previous 4-leaf grip model with thinner rubber had underlying metal poke thru the rubber and scratch my cars air-vent.

I like it!
Works very well with my Iphone 6+. I have a feeling most cases are not going to work well with this if you attach the metal plate inside the case. I put the metal plate directly on the back of my case and it works very well. The plate is low profile, so it doesn’t bother me at all. This may not be an option others will be willing to do, but it works well for me. If you don’t want to do this, you will have to look into the Logitech + cases which are made to go with this mount. However, I believe that Logitech only has these cases for the Iphones 5c, 5s, and 6. Don’t think they have one for the 6+ yet.

I have a SUPER thin clear plastic case for my phone but it …
A friend told me about this and suggested that I try it out. My first attempt to attach the magnet part inside my case as instructed didn’t work very well. I have a SUPER thin clear plastic case for my phone but it kept falling off the mount. Even something as a tiny pot hole or turning my car sharply would send it off flying under my feet. I contacted Logitech support about getting another magnet and they told me “sorry. Can’t send you another one”. As cheap as these things are to make, it would make sense to me for them to have done it. Anyway, I purchased a new magnet and put it on the outside of my case and IT WORKS PERFECT! I can keep my phone cool on my air conditioning vent now. I can hit a pot hole as big as my car and the phone stays securely attached to the car mount. In fact, sometimes when I pull my phone off the mount, the mount comes off my vent. Great product!

This is by far the best phone mount I’ve used
This is by far the best phone mount I’ve used. The magnets are VERY strong, and I’ve never had my phone come off of the mount. Advice: use a cheap phone case and put the magnet on that. Even switch your cases out for when you’re driving, and switch back to your favorite case when you’re done driving. The magnets will NOT come off – so essentially whatever you put that magnet on, it’s there for life! (In my experience.)The only problem I’ve run into is that certain vents are angled weird – my old car I had to put it on a vent next to my stereo. So it slightly covered a part of it, but wasn’t too much in the way. My new car the vent is angled slightly, so the phone isn’t completely vertical. But again, it doesn’t cause an issue with the magnet or the mount.

Great idea, but poor execution in my case
UPDATE:I stopped using it – my GPS in the phone stopped working when it was on the thing. I don’t know if it was the magnet placement or the metal thing blocking signal, but once I removed it, the GPS worked again. The mount thing also didn’t hold well to my vents. Stopped using it.ORIGINAL:Coworkers told me they loved theirs, so I got one. It is much smaller than I expected.First try, it was difficult to get on the vent. The vent is at a steep angle, so the phone basically faces the roof of the car. That then catches light from the windshield, making the screen hard to read. It also reflects off of the windshield, making for a distraction in my field of view. Worst of both worlds. When I went to take my phone off, the whole thing – the phone, the mount, and all just came off – thankfully leaving the vent okay. I went to remove the mount, and it tore the sticker off with it. The sticker seems capable of going back on, so will try again later. But in my case, in a Range Rover Evoque, I would not recommend this and instead go with a glass mount off to the side.

Strong – Holds iPhone plus
The magnet is very strong and holds my iPhone plus in a case without a problem. The only challenge is that if your car vents are slanted the phone will slant as well. I have a Nissan Pathfinder and the vents slant upward. I ended up buying a pop socket knockoff and putting the magnet on the back of that. This allows the phone to tilt the opposite way of the vent (instead of pointing up). Also, be aware that if you do have a large phone it may block entirely the air flow. Not fun when itâs 100 degrees and you are running the a/c. They need to develop a holder that plugs into the CD player – never use that anymore. However in the meantime I was super impressed with the strength of the magnet.

Diseño elegante, simple, útil. Recomendado para quienes no quieren intervenir en la superficie del auto, sino que buscan un accesorio sencillo, bonito y de fácil reposición o cambio.

This is a truly excellent piece of kit which works exactly as It says on the box. Being both neat and well designed it fits perfecty without rattlingon the air vents in the car. It comes in stout packaging and two small metal plated with adhesive backs are provided to adhere to the backof any mobile phone Highly recommended I suggest you invest in the corresponding Logitech Case plus which in itself has a fine metal plate built in the back which then completes the package and allows easy magnetic coupling to the dash board vent There are many suppliers of this item so shop around EBay
