The foundation is very heavy; the type that settles in wrinkles and makes them more pronounced.
The eyeshadow palette is very pretty but low to modest pigment so it will require multiple applications for rich color.
I thought the lip colors were gorgeous and would love to buy them separately.
The items I received did not have sealed packaging which is distressing. The foundations were clearly previously opened and tampered with as well as a few other items.
The brushes seemed of much higher quality than you would expect in a kit like this.
Overall: If the company does something about properly sealing ALL the products and dispose of any previously tampered with items this is a wonderful starter kit for the very young… pre teen to late teen. The light pigment of the product and the type of foundation will work well on smooth, wrinkle free skin. The quantity and quality of products for the sale price (25.) make this a great value for your dollar and would be a lovely gift. This kit is not appropriate for aged skin.
