Never came loose during a trip of over 1,500 miles and over 24 hours of highway driving
Purchased this to use on the roof of my SUV. The roof basket never came loose and the cargo bag protected the contents from the elements. I averaged about 70mph and never had issues with the car drifting. There was some noise from the basket and cargo bag but it wasn’t very loud. Nothing the radio at normal sound level couldn’t drown out.The only negative comment I can make is that the screws are too long. Other reviewers have mentioned this and I can confirm that the screws are definitely too long. They could easily cut a half inch off the screws and it still would have worked without issues. As it is, the length does not cause any problems being that long. I put the rubber caps on them and they did not come off as the cargo bag held them in place.The straps on the cargo bag also worked great. I checked the straps every 100 miles during our trip and the straps did not loosen at all. They held the cargo bag in place and we had zero issues with the contents inside the bag. I had both clothes and electronic equipment in the bag and the bag protected them from the elements. When I arrived at my destination (both ways), the contents were kept dry and were protected the whole trip.Assembly and disassembly was not too bad either. So much so that when we got to our destination, we disassembled the cargo basket for the week we were at our destination. We then put the basket back on a couple of hours prior to us returning from the trip. Once we got home, we disassembled the cargo basket and have it hanging on our garage wall waiting for the next trip.

Great value for the price. Easy to assemble but use your own wrenches. Most of the accessories are quality – bag is thick and waterproof with a good zipper, straps are sturdy, net is well assembled. The lock included is the only eh thing but it still works just seems flimsy. Only criticism would be it did rain the entire 12+ hour drive it was first used and there are some rusty drips and water marks on the product. No visible rust but it makes me unsure how long and how many trips it will actually last.

I got my tail hitch 12 months ago and it has been such a great way to increase trunk space with my Toyota Highlander which has almost no trunk. It’s impressive that you can open the trunk with the hitch and bag attached while the bag is full! The bag is clutch when traveling in Florida where it rains daily and keeps your luggage dry and safe. And the bag looks sleek and I have gotten many comments and compliments on such a cool way to travel and increase space with luggage.On our most recent road trip the zipper of the bag broke when we were unloading the car as we got home. I reached out to customer service who were quick with their response and helped me to come up with a solution. I am so impressed by their product and their customer service. We travel frequently with the hitch attached and now we can continue using our hitch as they solved the issue.

As advertised on a positive basis!
Took it out on an initial 1600 mile trip. First two days were torrential rain. The bag held up well, no leakage. Packed four sleeping bags, four sleeping pads, tarps and three blankets. Hitched worked well, did not notice it while driving, Had Ford Bronco and the hatch was able to swing open with loaded bag. Watched YouTube video for the assembly, was easier to follow than written directions. 65 Yr old male and was able to do it all myself. Would recommend.
