That casual, warm light coat I am always wearing
I got this jacket yesterday, and first thing this morning wore it to a doctor’s appointment. I got an XL and didn’t have high hopes when I ordered it, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sleeves were just right which is unusual, great but unusual as I am 6’4″ and have trouble with sleeve length. The overall length was also just right….the length shown in the photos. Zipped up it was a little snug through the chest and stomach but still fine. I did think it was unusual to have the right size sleeves and length but being a little snug when zipped. May want to consider the proportions when thinking about this jacket. I know I will be using tis garment a lot. I realized I didn’t know what “fleece” was, thinking wool, but found out: “Fleece is a synthetic insulating fabric typically made from a type of polyester called polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or other synthetic fibres. It is very comfortable due to its light weight and anti-perspiration qualities, and allows moisture to evaporate while blocking humidity from the outside.” Sounds right. This jacket is as good as it gets for me as some proportion is always a little off to get everything else right. Women should think about what fits them in men’s clothing sizes. It is not a hoodie; I wouldn’t call it a “winter coat”, but I like it for what it is; a cool looking light but warm jacket that looks cool.

Soft and easy to clean
This was the perfect fleece jacket for my teen son. He’s about 5 feet tall and about 200 lbs. We ordered the XL so that he could wear it for a while as he has yet to hit his big growth spurt. The fleece was soft and the jacket didn’t shrink much when we sent it through the dryer on a high heat. Perfect jacket for the southern US where it can be a little chilly in the morning and crazy hot by lunchtime.

I ordered the black in XL. This feels possibly a little tighter around the middle than i was expecting but I still have room, maybe just used to a more loose fit feel. The sleeve feel like they are a good length and come down over my hands just a little (not completely over my hands) which i like for the length. There is no tag or marking around the neck line but there is a tag near the waist that shows the size/care instructions. The zipper pull is on the left side which i know annoys some people but I don’t think its that big of a deal. There are 2 outside pockets without zippers and 2 inside top entry pockets that might be better if you want to hold anything – i’m not sure if I would trust the smooth pocket lining to hold onto anything in the outside pockets. This is not a sherpa lined or really heavy weight fleece but it feels like a good comfortable weight for cooler weather. I should be able to pair this plain black fleece with pretty much anything for office or casual.

Soft
This is a nice zip up. It is definitely a men’s fleece, so if you are ordering as a female make sure to keep that in mind when picking out a size, it will fit baggy. It is soft and has good sized pockets. Will be nice for work.
