Artpaxy Mens Wallet Bifold Looks durable. Good value. Many slots for credit cards, etc. For those with MANY credit cards, just wish is was 1/4 ” thicker. Had to wrap a heavy duty rubber band around the wallet to keep it closed. Hopefully, long term it sets with the rubber band in place.
Attractive and functional The only negative thing I can say about this wallet is that it is stiff. As a result, it can be difficult to open or to get items out of it. However, itâs also leather, which has a tendency to soften over time. Iâm hopeful that my appreciation for this wallet will only grow. Now, as for the things I likeâ¦. 1) Iâm reassured by the RFID blocking thatâs built into the wallet. 2) I like the way the sections are laid out, so that I can easily see so many cards at the same time. In my previous wallet, I had cards stuffed into pockets, but since I couldnât remember where Iâd put everything, I was always hunting for what I wanted if it wasnât immediately visible. 3) Itâs easy to get my ID out of the clear window, which is not the case in every wallet. 4) You canât really tell from the pictures, but thereâs an additional pocket in the back of the wallet. I stuck my metro pass in there. I never use it these days, but if I DO happen to ride the metro, I think I can just run my wallet over the sensor and it will read the card, so I donât have to fumble the card out and then put it away again in a crowded train station. (I reiterate that this is untested.) 5) I like the look of the wallet. The pattern is attractive, but also the shape. When I switched over I tossed a few things that I didnât need anymore, but I still have A LOT of stuff. My old wallet was fat and always looked like it was about to fall open. However, this one somehow manages to maintain a sleek, trim line and (as stated above) feels stiff rather than floppy. Iâm old fashioned. I use actual cards instead of my phone. So, my wallet is essential equipment for me. I have been using this wallet for nearly a month and am very pleased with it. I considered giving four stars because of the stiffness, but that isnât impairing my ability to use the wallet and I believe it will soften over time. So, Iâve settled on five stars.
Good Wallet I’m an old fashioned guy and I like old fashioned things and that means a “normal” bifold leather wallet. But I also recognize that these days you want to protect your cards so the RFID blocking feature is a big plus. This is the first wallet of this style I have seen after searching so I am happy to find it and I ordered it and am not disappointed. I tested the leather for authenticity. The way you do this is you take a hot needle and poke the leather in a place you can’t see. I found a discrete spot and did so. If it is made of man made leather substitute then it will melt under a heated needle. If it is leather it will not. This did not so it’s real leather. The quality of stitching is what you would expect from a good quality old fashioned leather wallet. I have found these usually last about a year with daily use before they get to where you want to replace them. I expect this one will be the same. The texture seems good though that is not the biggest issue with one of these. My cards all fit in the appropriate pockets and in other wallets I have had that is not always the case. Overall I am satisfied and I would recommend this wallet.
Big and bulky, with undersized and sticky ID slots I got this wallet to replace one that, once stuffed with cards, was stiff and hard to use. Of course, I don’t really need to stuff my wallet; but I want the ability to do so. So I read the promises of this Artpaxy offering, and picked it up. To be fair, it has a lot of good points. It actually has 14 slots for cards, and two chambers for paper money. One of the pockets is on the outside of the wallet – maybe for something high usage. … but … As is (apparently) standard for men’s wallet makers, the ID windows are just slightly too small, and very sticky. Pulling out your ID, and then trying to put it back in, are real chores. I am SICK of struggling with undersized ID slots. Ironically, that was not a problem with the old one. This wallet is fairly long and wide – and once filled with cards, it is pretty chunky, too. It will fit in your back pocket; but you may not like the -er- bump in your road.
Super nice men’s wallet This Artpaxy Mens Bifold leather wallet is really nice. The texture is soft and it’s well stitched. It’d be great if there were 2 ID windows: 1 for standard DL and another for either concealed carry ID, medical ins ID or such. But in either case, it is well laid out as is. The cash divider is almost a must these days: one for smaller bills, the other for larger bills, checks, etc. Unless you fill the wallet up with a lot of small bills and utilize all the pocket inserts with credit cards, it’s rather slim. My guy carries 5 hard cards; 2 credit cards, concealed carry ID, self-defense ins card, and his humana ins card. So, he really likes the slimness, softness and quality. I got the Coffee colored which is really pretty. Advised it was his late birthday gift and he commented: “nice, it was worth the wait.” Last wallet I bought him, which he still uses for now cost over $100. So, this one of near matching quality is a steal. Recommend.
