Loving my new laptop <3
So I bought this laptop for university since it was the best deal I could find in terms of price-performance-capacity- and brand reputation, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! I haven't installed any high-capacity software yet however as per the laptop's capacity I know that will not be a problem. I even asked friends from Uni and they told me this was a great option for my and for the tools that I need to use.

Monitor doesnât work, straight out of the box. Keyboard lights up but nothing else. Tried external monitor, still nothing. CS rep couldnât help but also sounded very exasperated that I had the audacity to call them to begin with, which turns me off the brand altogether. Will not seek replacement from them. Supposedly upgraded but perhaps that screwed it up? I have no idea, itâs a frustrating big fat headache overall.

Me gusto mucho, tiene la potencia, velocidad y capacidad perfecta para mi trabajo como Arquitecto. (elaboración de: renders, vÃdeos, planos, gráficos, etc.) y no he tenido tiempo de jugar todavÃa.

Unfortunately didn’t work out
Unfortunately had to return it.Seemed to work fine, though the base GHz was actually a little slower than my laptop from a few years ago and Norton kept screaming high CPU usage for a simple install. Tolerable. But it seemed fine until I connected the USB-C to my monitor.Something is wrong with the USB-C Hardware I got on mine. I connected it to my monitor, and it worked for a little while, then my monitor started flickering intermittently, and stopped working. I’ve been using this monitor and converter for years for my old laptop with no problems. I think it might be my converter, so I tested it on my other monitor, same thing. Tested the converter on my original laptop and it worked just fine. Tested this products HDMI port to the monitors and they worked just fine.To be clear, I can’t use that HDMI port on my monitor any more, so buyer beware, if this happens to you immediately unplug it. For now I’ll be steering clear of MSI.
