Gaming Laptop
This laptop runs games with no issues. I have downloaded and tried three games with no issues. I played Guild Wars 2, Farcry5, and Techen8 on this machine and it ran smoothly. I also use it for work and hold Zoom conference calls all day long from this machine. The webcam is crisp and sharp and this machine handles all teaching activities with no issues.

Fast, runs demanding VR like the Valve Index
No issue running heavy games. Great selection of ports supports even Valve Index VR.

Don’t buy if you care about a sharp picture with accurate colors
This computer works great. It turns right on, it’s fast, but the colors and clarity of the picture are terrible. MSI customer service is really good. They answered the phone right away and tried to help. At first the guy was telling me the picture looks fine for a laptop. But I’ve had quite a few laptops before, and the picture on this one is by far much worse than any of the others I’ve had. The guy got a bit frustrated with me, but he kept trying and finally found under the specs that this one has 45% NGSC screen, which means the picture will look washed out. There’s no fix. I’m stunned anyone would make a computer and call it a “gaming” computer AND with a 17″ screen and intentionally make it have a bad picture!! Amazon is very kindly letting me return it, so I’m impressed with both MSI and Amazon’s customer service. I just want to warn everyone about what you’re getting before you spend your money on this laptop.

Grandson loves it â¦add on 3/29/24 read
Purchase this item for my grandson for Christmas. He wanted a gaming computer and a friend of mine talk to me into getting this laptop apparently very good value for the money. We only got it Christmas so Iâm not sure yet how it will work out, but hopefully it will last.Add on 3/28/24Buyer be were. The screen of this computer died in the end of the second month of February. Of course, Amazon only gives Certain amount of days to send back by then the time has ran out. He runs it now with a separate screen computer still works but to carry it anywhere like he needed to for being portable is no longer usable. Check out computers deeply before you purchase.

Ran good for 3 months
My laptop as never left my desk itâs been treated properly and all the sudden the pixels are showing up everywhere it has never been dropped or anything spilt on it I only played the sims and roblox and itâs starting to preform poorly

Main Board dies randomly
After 2 years of light use this laptop died. Out of warranty the cost for a new board was $1K. MSI informed no parts are slotted so you need a new motherboard, cpu, gpu, the works.Works great while it’s functional but there is risk.
