Soft and comfy long johns for women I ordered these women’s long johns because of the color purple. The long johns are a really pretty light lilac color. The material is soft and comfortable. The fit runs a little small. I will order a size up next time for a loose, comfortable fit. I love wearing these long johns as pajamas because they keep me warm. I will recommend these OHYOGA Women’s Ultra Soft Thermal Underwear Long Johns Set to friends.
Great top and bottom set! While some sets claim to be base layers, they’re not really made of fabric that keeps your skin warm while still letting it breathe. This set is the real deal. The fabric has some nice stretch to it, so it’s not going to be drooping, but isn’t so tight it’s cutting off circulation. No matter how many layers you plan to wear to fight off the winter cold, this set is a great start. Two thumbs up!
Good base layer Overall this seems like a good base layer but I was a tad disappointed. To be fair I should’ve ordered a medium but I went with a small. I’m usually between the two. I’m approximately 5’6.5″, usually 135 lbs or so. My chest is approximately 36 inches. Unfortunately these pieces were smaller than I’d have liked. Considering they’re meant as a base layer that’s probably a good thing but I had envisioned being able to wear them independently as well and I’m not sure that would work. Not bending I think it’s okay but if I bend over it’s rather see-through to the behind and if I bend my knee (shown above) it’s see through on my leg. Standing normally it’s borderline see through on my chest. Enough I think I could get by but rather than just being black it sort of has a sheen in the light that makes it seem a little see-through there if it’s not. I haven’t had a chance to wear them out yet so I’ll try to do that and edit my post later. For now I’ll say that while I can’t speak to what it would be like if I ordered a medium, I can advise to possibly size up if you’d like to wear the pieces alone as well. I’m mostly happy with these but can’t speak to what they’re like warmth-wise yet. They seem to have washed without trouble but I did my first wash on cold with other black items to be sure nothing would bleed just in case. No apparent shrinking but I dried on low heat. I was a bit uncomfortable in the size as I said but if I’m not worried about anything being see through they’re pretty comfortable. They’re not exactly soft but I’d say the material is rather smooth. They look great not on me but as I said I had a few concerns when I put it on, but again that may have been my fault.
Perfect under my scrubs I always jump at anything that says viscose. That’s the same thing as bamboo. Not really sure how that works but I know I love the softness that’s also warm. But it seems to let you breath when hot so you don’t get so icky sweating. But anyone who’s never tried it may be disappointed when ordering these if you have in mind they are advertised as thermals. They aren’t like your typical thermals. They are a softer fabric that may seem more lightweight. Don’t let that fool you. It’s also warm. It’s like an illusion but real lol. Just like the sheets are cooling and feel cold at first but also keep you so warm in winter. I always feel like my body temp is regulated with it lol. These have other blends in with it though. They are dreamy and I actually wear them under my scrubs. Everyone compliments me and asks where I got them. They fit true to size and wash well.
Pay attention to sizing Unfortunately I did not check the sizing chart as clearly and went with a size small thinking long underwear should be closer fitting and it should be fine. They do stretch and I was almost thinking the small would still work when I received it. Then I pulled the pants up and they are not long enough for my legs. I am 5’9″ and typically wear size medium bottoms and small tops. The top is ok but it is not great either on sizing. I like the material and the color but this will not work for me because of the sizing.
I am 5â and itâs a crop top Material is soft and comfortable. It keeps you warm when needed and cool when itâs getting warm. But the top hangs 4â above my belly button and the bottoms are 4â above my ankles. I can handle the capri style thermal bottoms as I can wear merino socks but the crop top defeats the purpose of wearing thermals. My belly gets cold since it is exposed. This photo donât show that it is designed as a crop top. I got the right size too since it fits my entire body otherwise except for length and I am petite at 5ft.There is also a hole on the leg. Took a photo of it.
