Soft, warm, no bra no problem OMG. It has a built in pocket for the removal bra pad, great for washing. Looks like you’re wearing a bra but you’re not. This equals all day comfort and warmth. If it’s cold and I don’t wear a bra it doesn’t matter how many layers I wear, I’ll still be cold. This tank is a game changer, it’s super soft and form fitting. It is not low cut and on several of my dresses it hides the cleavage nicely and yet I’m braless, whoop whoop. It has a slight stretch. I ordered my regular size large and it fits correctly, not loose, not tight, but just right. For reference I’m 5’4″ and 155 lbs, 38D. Order up if you want it not snug, order down if you want it right but I don’t recommended too tight, you need air pockets/space to retain heat between layers. This almost feels like a soft micro suede. I can say I truly love this tank. I’m sad I didn’t see it available in black and I wish it had a length of maybe 26 “. If you hate bra’s, this is your new favorite undergarment for up top.
Soft and warm, but bust is awkward I was skeptical about this item when I pulled it out of the package because the built-in bra seemed quite large. A different reviewer warned that it ran very small and to order two sizes up, so that’s what I did. I would normally wear a Large but ordered XXL (what are these, children’s sizes??) After trying it on, I was surprised at how comfortable it was. It’s very soft on the inside. Even though the bust was a full cup size larger than I was, the rest of the vest was very snug. Had I ordered the Large it would be too tight, though the bust probably would’ve been just right. Who was this built for, Jessica Rabbit? I’m not shaped like that. I would have much preferred no built-in bra so it would accommodate more body shapes. Some people might like the “upgrade” in the chest size area, but I don’t. Also, it’s obvious when looking at the garment while wearing it that there’s a padded bra in there. Not a big deal when worn under other clothes, but not so great if visible. The other thing I noticed is the edges of the garment appear to be unhemmed. The two layers are somehow attached, seemingly by invisible thread, but I can see no hem at all. Maybe it’s magically hemmed in some way that I cannot see, so I’ll just have to wait and see how it fares over time. Overall this product does what it’s supposed to do, which is keep you warm, but the fit will vary depending on your chest size. UPDATE: There’s a slit in the lining where the built-in bra is. I was able to pull the thing out, and now it feels much less awkward. If you are flat-chested, however, then it might actually look more awkward since the material will look “deflated” in that area. The excess material was barely visible in my case, so now this vest feels very comfortable.
WAY too small The feel and softness of this is superb, however, it runs crazy small. It’s not just tiny in the bust area, but overall. The XXL would probably fit someone with no larger than a C cup and someone who wore a size small in clothing.
Warm but Short The POSESHE Women’s Stretch Fleece Lined Base Layer is very warm – I wore it outside with just a chunky sweater and felt rather warm. My only complaint is that it is a tad short – I want it to be another 2-3 inches longer, but I like my tanks to hit my lower hips, so they stay tucked into my pants. These hit just below the pant line – although it was thick enough it didn’t roll up all that much.
Runs very small, has weird cup padding I ordered this based on the size chart and it is extremely undersized. It also has built in cups in the chest but they are an odd shape and have strange placement so it looks really unnatural when you put the shirt on. I liked the idea of having an insulated tank like this to keep my core warm in the winter, but this was a disappointment
Best Base Layer I’ve Ever Owned I love this thermal base layer. It’s soft and fleecy without being bulky at all and it’s form-fitting, hugging all of my curves. It can be worn without a bra beneath (and having tried it both ways I say skip the bra beneath…. you have enough support from the built-in shelf bra and the tightness of the shirt to not need the added discomfort of the bra). It is so warm! I almost feel like I could go outside in winter without anything over it and be all right. (my arms might freeze, though, so I don’t think I’ll be trying that one).
It’s soft It does roll up if you hac=ve any bit of a belly and the bra part fit weird. I tool the pads out and it was better but it was just awkward. But the material was reeeeally soft and warm.
Thank you for a sewn-down shelf for the bra! This is the first tank top I have worn in which the shelf for the bra is sewn down onto the shirt itself. I find that to be much more comfortable! The substantial pads are connected to each other in the center, and easily removable. They were the first thing to go for me, being much larger than what my 36A need. This is a size extra large; for reference, I am 5 foot two, approximately 110 pounds. The fit is very comfortable for me, but I usually like things a little bit on the looser side. I found this tank top to be surprisingly plush on the outside, even more fleecy than the inside is. It is very warm and soft. I plan to wear it with those open front cardigans, which usually leave me chilled in the winter! Love this tank top!
