Was extremely skeptical about the quality for the price but the concealer set is awesome, a shade for every need. Goes on smooth, blends in beautifully, the only negative thing u can think of is I wish there was more product so I didn’t have to repurchase so often

Confusing branding and gross ingredients. Endocrine disruptors, anyone?
This makeup is gross. The ingredients are foul and the branding is confusing. The brand on the listing is shown as Joyeee. The packaging says Carla Secret Professional – Paris. Usually, “Professional – Paris” means that the makeup brand is from Paris… but the box has the manufacturer as Jinjua Confidant Cosmetics Co, based in Yiwu City, China. There are also UK and EC reps listed in Germany and the UK, but no French address.
Carla Secret has no easy to find website, but there are multiple pallets just like this one all over Amazon from a plethora of different sellers.
The ingredients are: Mineral Oil, microcrystalline wax, synthetic beeswax, ground wax, hydrogenated polyisobutene, ethylhexyl palimate, triacontanol trimethyl PHTHALATE, mica, phenoxyethanol, VE and assorted pigments.
If this product is actually sold in the EU, then there should be detailed traceability on where the petroleum based products come from and their refining methods. That’s because the EU actually cares about cosmetic safety and prohibits polycyclic hydrocarbons from contaminating petroleum jelly products destined for cosmetics (like mineral oil and synthetic wax). But the phthalates? There is no getting around the phthalates. They’re known endocrine disruptors, and NOT GOOD FOR YOU.
So… the pallet, regardless of how well it’s made and how nice the makeup goes on, is going into the trash. Health is wealth, and I like being healthy more than I like makeup.
As for the brushes, they’re decent. They’re by no means the most fantast professional brushes I’ve ever owned, but they’re entirely functional. I like them, and they make the entire purchase worth it even if the pallet is garbage.

I ordered this 12-colour palette with the make-up brush set, and I think it is really good value for the price! The eleven make-up brushes are soft and do not have any bristles falling out even after washing the brushes several times. I am new to using cream concealers, but it was easy to look up some YouTube videos that will teach you how to use the different colours to conceal blemishes, undereye darknesss and so forth. Most of the time, it will take a bit of trial and error to get the right combination to make your specific skin colour and type. I have combination skin, but found the cream contour palettes worked well and looked very natural once applied. I’m happy with this kit and it’s great to have in my make-up drawer!
