Love these shorts, but same quality issues as others
These are nearly the perfect pair of shorts for me. The elastic waistband holds well, they are very breathable and cooling, very comfortable, and love all the pocket options to hold many items and have the security for important items with the zippers. I originally bought one pair for a lightweight, comfortable travel short for a very long international trip and they delivered on everything I hoped. I liked them so much I broke my rule of not having too many pairs of the same thing and ordered four more pairs recently. However, that’s where the removal of a star comes in. The original pair has been worn and washed many times without issue. But one of the new ones is facing the same quality issue that others have mentioned of the crotch seam coming apart after only wearing 3-4 times, and none of those under any sort of strenuous activity. I read another review who mentioned they were able to contact Pudolla and get a replacement pair, but am running into roadblocks since they were sold by Amazon and I’m about 2 weeks past the 30-day return policy. I would still recommend these and have to others, but know they will be a bit of a roll of the dice.They do tend to run slightly large, by the size chart I should probably be an XL, but the L fits absolutely perfect for me with a waist in the 36-38 range.

Perfect fit, light weight and great looking.
They are exactly as described and fit perfectly. The pockets are all good sized and while I don’t need the zipper pockets they will come in handy. The weight is excellent, light and doesn’t feel like you’re carrying around excess weight. I ordered them yesterday and got them today at around 1:00 p.m. you can’t ask for better than that.

Baggy fit
Pants are huge. I like the idea of them and they donât make the windbreaker âswishyâ sound. Waist fits ok and I can wear a belt, but the legs are like little parachutes lol

Menâs Hiking Shorts
I love these shorts! I bought three pairs, and Iâm wishing I had bought three more. They are knee length, unbelievably light, with lots of pockets. They seem to be well made. Use the size chart. I wear between a 36-38â waist. I got the XL, and theyâre perfect.

Nice shorts but weak elastic waist
These are lightweight, very comfortable shorts that I would wear for any outdoor activity such as hiking or running as well as lounging around the house in. The material is a stretchy nylon/spandex combo but it seems pretty rugged although if hiking and took a tumble, I think traditional cotton shorts are going to protect you from abrasions much better. I like the fact that it ahs three zippered pockets and the front pockets while deep enough to carry your phone and other items don’t extend all the way to the bottom of the shorts so that carried items are thumping against your legs when walking.That brings me to the weakness of the shorts and what is preventing me from giving it four stars. The waistline is all elastic except for the front side and it is a very weak elastic, much like wearing pajamas or a hospital johnny. My waistline is a 33-34″ and the medium size is certainly big enough and in fact, I can pull the front of the shorts, several inches away from my waist. Except for perhaps lounging around the house, this makes wearing a belt a necessity as the shorts will have a tendency to slip down when moving around with objects in the pocket. Would be much better if the waistline only contained a small area of a stronger elastic material or given the stretchy nature of the material itself, perhaps none would be required.

Love the material and how comfortable it feels on the skin. The pockets are well designed and so practical, not just for hiking but for other sports like cycling.Wish the green was a brighter shade though. It came too dark, as compared to the pic.Anyway, still will be a fave pair of shorts

I like shorts that have pockets that allow me to carry my wallet, mobile phone and keys. I also like shorts that go down to the knee and that are comfortable to wear. This ticks all of the boxes and I have already bought two more pairs.

The design of this product is very good. It has zips on three pockets which is good for travelling when you are carrying valuables. However, one zip on one pair stopped functioning after a week or so, and the waist band elastic started to loosen. Still wearable, but would be fantastic in higher quality materials.
