This is one comfortable seat cushion
I have tried 4 cushions since I purchased my Waterrower, which I love. First I started with no cushion. I row at least 4 times a week for over 30 minutes. After a while I realized I needed some additional padding. I tried a thick cushion, but it changed my angle of body position and I realized it was no good on the first pull. Then a used a thin gel cushion which I liked. Over time the gel began to shift and I started looking for a new pad. I tried a thin non-gel pad and it did not provide enough support, then I bought this gel seat cushion. It fits the seat well and stays in place. The gel is thin, but gives enough cushion to be comfortable. I plan to use this pda for a long time to come – I recommend it.

Just right!
I bought this pad and the larger one. Just like Goldilocks, I settled on this one being just right. No more pain on those long row sessions.

Great seat cover, but I may need a little more cushion
This rower seat cover fits nicely on the Concept 2 model and does not slip. It is a thin gel pad, so it definitely adds more support, but next time I may look into one with a little more padding.

Comfortable
This pad fits my Echo rowing shell seat and is more “robust” (not necessarily thicker) than other pads I’ve used. The filling in gel pads tends to ooze away from bony spots. The filling in this pad is cushy but stays where you need it.

Solved My Leg Numbness
I row at least 20,000+ meters 4-5 times a week on a Concept2 D. After 14,000 meters I often get a severe numbness in my legs from the hams through the knee. I tried sitting on towels and other types of cushions but nothing really worked.I tried the 2K Fit cushion and it really works. I have been using it for over 250,000 meters and no numbness!

OK, but not as good as one I bought years ago
I was hoping that this would be just like a similar product (Gel Sport brand, no longer available) I used to own, but it’s harder, slips around on the seat more and doesn’t seem to be any more durable than the one I had before.I prefer a firm, low profile cushion, but this one needs a little more give and to be a few millimeters thicker IMO.For half hour sessions, I’m not sure it’s better than nothing, at the hour mark it probably makes a difference, but of course no two butts are the same, so YMMV!

No padding
I bought this to use with a concept 2 rower and found the padding to be insufficient. I’m a slender person without much natural padding and need something that provides cushon. This pad is a very dense and heavy gel that doesn’t provide much more comfort than the rower seat. May want to consider one with memory foam not gel.

Exactly what you’d expect from a gel pad cushion
Enjoy my Concept2 erg . . . definitely my cardio of choice and will do over a million meters this year. The seat pad is exactly as I expected it to be, a thin, firm gel pad that give an additional bit of cushion to the seat. It’s not plush or cushy, it’s a thin layer of gel that provides a little extra padding. At this point I’ve rowed 50,000 meters with it and it stays in place perfectly and performs as advertised. Very pleased with the product and the purchase. If you want more cushion, perhaps check out alternative models from same manufacturers. This one is exactly what I wanted.

No more butt aches. Advice to do hamstring stretches before use as it reduces the chance of butt aches. More comfortable than thicks cushions. Transportable and light
