Great performing tablet that does all I need
I sue this thing primarily for web browsing and streaming. It’s a snappy, easy to use tablet that’s perfect for those applications. It’s not laggy or slow like some others and has a bunch of helpful features. It’s also lightweight and has a solid metal back which adds to the quality feel of the whole thing. It’s an excellent combination of value, performance and features.

Basic, but useful tablet with stylus
I have this as a secondary tablet, alongside an M1 iPad Pro 11″.The Tab S6 Lite is no where near as powerful, but that’s ok. It’s still a quite usable tablet, with solid construction and good battery life.
My main use cases: taking notes with Samsung Notes, reading books (FBReader, Bible Study by Olive Tree), playing games (nothing demanding, mostly Stardew Valley, Another Eden, and some emulation of older consoles), programming (under Termux), music (YT Music) and audio books (Audible). All of these work well on it. It takes a little longer to start some of the games than my iPad, but they run fine once loaded. It’s not great for multitasking. I’ve found that using two apps in split screen is ok. It feels a bit sluggish with three on screen. When running larger games it’ll have to restart apps when switching. None of this is problematic for me, but it’s worth noting.
Battery life has been good so far. On my longest day with it I started using it about 10 AM, and plugged it in at 11 PM with 29% remaining battery. During that time I only had the screen off for two hours, and it was otherwise in continual use. (I run about 25-30% brightness). About half of that time was spent reading, and the rest was a mix of playing Stardew Valley, taking notes, and programming under Termux.
Notetaking is pretty nice. The included S Pen works well, and attaches magnetically to the top. It does not need charging, so is always ready to use. My son (more artistically inclined than I) says it’s not as good at pressure sensitivity as the Apple Pencil, but he had no complaints with the feel or accuracy.
The build quality is fine. The tablet is a little heavy, but feels solid. It’s a touch more slippery than I’d like, but this hasn’t actually been a problem. I have no other complaints on this.
The display is a bit of a let down. The resolution is fine, but there’s a bit of backlight bleed along the edge with the USB C port. It also has a lot of glare. I can mostly ignore these, but they are sometimes a bit problematic.

Ditched the iPad for this
I originally purchased an iPad for my son, but after spending frustrating hours trying to set up parental controls, I decided to switch to the SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). Setting up parental controls on this tablet was a breeze and took only about 5 minutes, a huge improvement compared to the iPad.
The tablet’s sleek, slim metal design makes it incredibly stylish and easy to carry around. The included S Pen is a fantastic addition, perfect for taking notes, drawing, and navigating the tablet with precision. The performance is impressive, handling gaming and multitasking smoothly, thanks to its powerful specs.
The display is crisp and vibrant, making everything from reading to watching videos a pleasure. The AKG dual speakers deliver rich, clear sound, enhancing the overall media experience. Battery life is exceptional, lasting through long hours of use without needing a recharge.
Overall, the SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a versatile and reliable tablet, perfect for both entertainment and productivity. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality tablet with great features!

Surprisingly good tablet.
I wanted to get a relatively low cost tablet to do some surfing, and some light gig work as well as to steam videos. I have had iPads before this, had no experience with Samsung or the android OS, this tablet is a pleasant surprise. It works great, good battery life. Very nice screen, sound is surprisingly good. For surfing, watching videos and your basic apps this tablet is great. Nearly as good as my iPad Pro for a fraction of the cost. Check the specs to see if your application works. Its really a nice tablet for the price.

Good base Tablet but some limitations
Just received tablet, everything was going very well. Installed the variety of applications without issue, seem to be working and handling mostly everything. But biggest pain point is lack of HEVC/h.265 video files. I was primarily going to use this to edit pictures and video from the DJI osmo pocket 3 , but it will not play or read the MP4 files correctly. I’ve tried a variety of apps from the store 20+ at this point, and I’m unable to get them to play. Files and videos play just fine on Windows, mac, 6 Year old iPad, and my other Android device, just not this tablet. This is a pretty major deal breaker for me, it does play h.264 MP4 files fine, it’s just the newer 265 compression that DJI uses on their 4K and slow mo videos. Pretty disappointed as it was looking very well to use . I’m not sure how something this simple could be so problematic but if you’re looking for that might want to look elsewhere

This tablet is Great.
This tablet has all the benefits of a samsung phone plus everthing you need in a tablet. The screen quality is great. The speed for loading pages and downloading items is very quick. The fact that you get a great qualty item for the price is suprising. Very durable and pretty. Would definitly recommend to friends and family.

A good solid Android Tablet.
I have 2 of these tablets for the family. They are fast. And best of all they aren’t iPads. So it’s easy to navigate and download / upload files. Tons of storage. I still haven’t inserted a micro SD card yet.

Good
Great tablet for the price. It doesn’t have all the same apps as an iPad but that is fine. It works well for the price and I like the fact that the S pen is automatically connected to the tablet. Setup was easy and it is portable. Charging is easy.
