Fantastic system, quality components
Back in the day, I built PC’s before there were system integrators and I really enjoyed being able to find the best quality products and put it together to my specs. There weren’t many big companies that made performing PC’s, and if there were they sold you proprietary designs that required their power supply, mainboard etc and made them not upgradable. I started down that path, needing to build a new PC to replace my 10 year old gaming system and after a full day of reviewing, landed on the Skytech Chronos II. I found it for $1799 around black friday and made the purchase. When the system arrived, I was pleasantly suprised at the excellent packing – the main unit was in a tyvek like black bag to protect it from scratching and the internals were well secured with expanding foam in bags, and some foam blocks.Checking over the components, I was happy to find (in my system) an MSI Nvidia card, on an Asus Mainboard, with TForce DDR5 ram. The case I believe is a lian li and the AIO is an enermax. All of the RGB components are managed through 1 management software, mine had SignalRGB pre-installed.First impression is that it’s a well built system, with nice cable routing and name brand non-proprietary hardware that can all be upgraded at a future date. The system ran flawlessly first boot and has endured hours of gaming sometimes 8-10 hours at a time playing at 4k, 1440p resolution with great cooling. The only challenge I’ve found has been with getting my sound for microphone adjusted properly and it’s probably user error. I also tried not using the antennae for wireless since I was not going to use it and instead plugged it in to my router and found that my bluetooth range was limited, unless I put the antennae on and then it was resolved (so go ahead and put it on!!)I’ll come back and update this review in about 6 months, once I’ve spent more time with it. So far – Highly recommended

Worth the price!
Pretty good PC and worth it for the price vs the specs you get. Great graphics for games. Pretty fast overall. Only complaint is that I had to return the first one of these I bought because the tempered glass was completely shattered. One of the legs was broken as well. Also the refund won’t return to me until 30 days pass, I basically bought it twice because I really needed a PC. But the proper functional one I got now is great!

Works perfectly! No issue with fans.
This was a perfect replacement for a gaming computer I had been using for the past 10 years!I purchased this as an avid mmo player. I mainly play World of Warcraft and I have seen this get over 500fps on ultra high. I know that realistically you donât notice a difference after a certain point but it is nice to know that I will be consistently above 80fps. I was barely able to get 40fps on medium-low graphics on the old computer. For the price it is definitely worth getting. Potential to add a second ssd and more ram for even better performance.I did have to purchase a display port adapter for my second monitor since there is only one hdmi port. That is something to consider if you have multiple monitors.5 star experience from shipping speed to set up to using this pc right out of the box.As many have said. It does come with a keyboard and mouse which is great even though I do not use them.As far as the fans being loud. I presume this issue has been fixed. I have not had to change any setting and they are extremely quiet. During boot up they are loud for a few seconds and then I can barely notice them at all!

Works good!
Pretty solid and cool looking. :)I did have some issues with the fans to start that I saw in other reviews that I’ve resolved. The fans were running at full speed and were extremely loud. After some search I read to set the fans to PWM in the BIOS (not DC). That solved the fan noise issue. Hope this might help someone!

I’ve had issues with it.
It came with the following:Mobo – AsRock Z790-cCPU – I7 13700kCPU cooling – Deep Cool LS720 AIORAM – Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 5200GPU – Gigabyte Eagle 4070 OC 12GBSSD – MSI Spatium M371 NVME Gen 3x4The PC was well packaged and the box was in good shape. However, the back corner just above one of the feet is dented in making it a little difficult to manage the back panel. It also makes the PC rock back and forth a little. I didn’t notice this right away in my excitement of getting a new PC. Now I just have a little piece of cardboard under it and it’s fine. The SSD is a bit of a disappointment being Gen 3×4 but since I got the PC on sale I had already purchased a 2TB Samsung 980 PRO and cloned the drive right away. From day one all the fans have been on full blast at 100%. I contacted Skytech support and spent over an hour on the phone with a very knowledgeable tech who walked me through some troubleshooting steps I hadn’t already tried. In the end, that resulted in not being able to get the fans to slow down at all. It has to do with the way the fans are wired on the fan controller. We also had to change the RAM from 5200Mhz down to 5000MHZ as Windows was crashing when running things like Prime95 with a RAM error. He told me I could send it in to Skytech and they could fix the fan speed issue and re-case it so it would be in a new undented case as well as test the RAM and find out which stick has the issue and replace it. I opted not to do that as it would take weeks and my old PC had died a quick death. So far I have played a couple older games like ESO and Pillars of Eternity. I’ve also played D4. Everything pretty much on max on a 27″ 2k 120hz monitor and they’ve run smooth. Using MSI Afterburner to watch temps of the GPU and it has stayed cool.I will likely buy a new fan controller and re-wire it myself. 7 fans on full blast right next to me on the desk is a lot. Overall, I think it’s a good buy if you get it on sale and don’t have issues like mine.

I received the PC, having it shipped to Guadalajara the box was beat up by customs as they wanted to inspect it obviously. After opening the box, everything was perfect, no issues to note besides the box itself being obliterated. Packed extremely well and tight to ensure nothing moved. Inspected the inside and only had to shift a cable that was blocking a fan from spinning. After starting it up, it had an issue with installing windows 11 and restarted mid startup and forced me to start again. Once I got in⦠this is where the fun began. Windows broke on the initial start up so I had no Start or Taskbar and no access to admin. It came with a bunch of programs preinstalled and all that sketched me out. After spending an hourly searching how to fix the Windows issues⦠I wiped the PC clean. That fixed every problem. Now I am running Diablo 4 Max setting with 200% 3D resolution and no issues. PC isnât even running hot when it is 100+ F outside (33C+) and my house is sitting at 80 F.My advice, when you get it. Wipe it completely and you will have no problems. It runs like a dream on my 32â 2k at over 165 fps.

Arrived with one of the processor cores running WAY too hot, and unable to play 1080p videos or games without freezing up or crashing.Support from the seller was nonexistent. Took them over a week to respond, and then only to suggest I do some bare minimum diagnostics (sfc /scannow, etc) when I had already mentioned that I’d done far more advanced and extensive troubleshooting and even provided the cause of the issues.Had to return through Amazon, with the seller giving NO help.

After 17 days the hard drive stopped working. I called the support and it’s says it’s damaged. I have to return it to them so they can send me a new one. But I have to pay for the shipment to return the damaged one. Plus it will take at least two week and I lost my data in it.I am disappointed with this and I see I am not the only one have issues with the hard drive SSD nmve. Will buy an other SSD to try it, til they will send me back a new one.

Keyboard and mouse don’t work. Contacted Skytech’s support and they would send new ones but I would have to pay international shipping charges and tariffs. BAD business Skytech!! The driver on the keyboard says last up date 2006???????????
