Side Table
The side table arrived safely and well packaged. Assembly was straightforward because I followed the pictorial instructions. I only followed the directions because I hadn’t slept well and was too tired to have an adventure. The bottom drawer panel was poorly finished and had a surface peel separation from the laminate. (see picture). I’ll have to paint the inside of the drawer to improve the look, otherwise the completed table looks fine.
This side table is small, three inches shorter than my existing table. The dimensions provided in the description are accurate, so any misapprehension falls on me. I’s say it is most suitable for a child’s
room.
After using the drawer for one day I’ve noticed how precarious it is held in place. A pair of simple slides and knob working together don’t really control the drawer’s errant possibilities. Careful use is required to keep the drawer in its place, so the side table really isn’t suitable for use by a child. And since the table is really too small for an adult’s needs, I think the utility of this side table remains in doubt.
Deduct two stars for the drawer panel’s peeling and a third for the drawer’s precarious utility.
