Not too shabby!!!
These lights add such a mood to your yard. If you want to allocate your yard, get these!! It took my husband about 30 min or less to install all 16 lights. Super easy!! These had a charge right out of the box. We have one of the ugliest yards ever, but these lights classed it up. As expensive as it can be to make yard updates, this is one of the most affordable things you can add to your yard to make a pretty impactful look! The only minor minus is they have to be manually set on each light. There is not a remote or app to control these, but there are two easy buttons to get them set and was no biggie.

They look beautiful at night
I bought these solar lights to install on each of my metal fence posts around my pool. The brightness of the lights are based on the color you pick. I chose a light blue and it gives off an amazing color at night. I did choose white for a dark corner where we have a fence door and it really helps light-up the area. While these lights aren’t the cheapest on the market, I would still recommend them because they seem to be higher quality.

Second set!
Works great! Bright enough on stairs or on the fence! Long lasting so far.

No maintenance. The sun takes care of that!
I do not necessarily use the multiple colors but they are nice. I have them lined up from my back gate on the fence to the back door of the house that gives safe guidance to all.

Easy-mount solar lights, good for *close* path or accent (light for door lock/address). Short reach.
Yivsen 4 Pack Waterproof Solar Fence Lights Fence Solar Lights RGB 8 Colors Solar Outdoor Lights for Step PatioYivsen 4 Pack Waterproof Solar Fence Lights Fence Solar Lights RGB 8 Colors Solar Outdoor Lights for Step PatioWhile these lights definitely have their place, they’re not a good choice for lighting anything that’s not pretty close to them. They’re more expensive and not as bright as other similarly-sized solar lights I’ve used. The dimness could be a plus or a minus, depending on your situation. If you want low-key, understated path lights and you can hang them within a few feet of your target source, these are perfect. By a few feet, I mean if you hang them at 6-7 feet high on a wall, they’ll light a patch that’s a couple feet wide out from the wall. Hung lower, they’ll offer brighter illumination, but the range is still fairly small. If you need to place them more than a couple feet away, they won’t be able to adequately light your path, unless you already have some lighting and you just need supplemental lighting. But if you’re planning on mounting them under deck hand rail or along stair risers, they’re just right–bright enough to do the job without looking like your space is lit up like an alien crash site in a movie. They’re also excellent for mounting over a poorly lit door, to offer a bit of security and to keep you from fumbling with your keys in darkness. We have one mounted directly on our gate door to give a clear view of the latch, very handy and aesthetically pleasing. I tried to use the rest for path lighting, but they’re just not bright enough for our situation. I’ll need to replace them with something stronger. But I’ll definitely find handy uses for them elsewhere on our property. They were easy to mount–just screw in the hangers with 2 screws, switch on the lights, select the color you prefer (there have a rainbow of choices) and slide them on to the hangers (you can also access the buttons when it’s mounted). They go off during the day and come on automatically at night. I haven’t had any trouble with them shutting off too soon, but it’s summer, so they’re not really being challenged yet. Contrary to the description, these are not very bright, certainly much dimmer than any small solar lights I’ve tried (3 different types before this). The description claims “…the bright light can illuminate every small corner of the courtyard.” Unless your courtyard is tiny and you have a light every 4 feet around the whole thing, don’t count on it.

As arrived, box is colourful and descriptive- good for a giftOut of the box, these lights have a very nice, quality feel. The plastic is thick, not cheap and the solar panels have a thick protective cover. The light has a very nice overall appearance and feels built to be outdoors (especially in Canada)The mounting option is a big plus here- instead of your measure-the-hole-and-hope-it-fits style, you simply screw in the plastic mount and the light slides right over. This is an added bonus for those who which to bring them inside for the winter or, if one gets hit hard and breaks – likely much easier to find replacement mounts vs having to purchase an entirely new light. The light itself has 3 LED outputs, an on/off switch and mode button to cycle. The colours are very nice and clear but I still prefer the look of a warm/soft white.Once mounted, you notice the little features – at the front of the light is a small, frosted window which- at a lower mounted height- provides a very nice, ambient look to the light. The light itself provides excellent light- mounted at the back of my house at a height of 12 inches, the light projects outward approx 4 feet, which is plenty to illuminate the pathway. The battery is also very good!I left 2 of them out for a day of solid sun, 1 for a day of overcast and 1 for a completely rainy day.The first 2- seeing sun- ran for over 30 hours before they were too dim to be a proper light- they were still lit just very dim.The next – overcast- did the same but were at 10% after about 24 hours, not too shabby! The last – on a heavy downpour of a day- still managed to stay lit for almost 18 hours which was crazy. Obviously the panels used for these lights were very well built and I was very impressed.Lastly, weather protection has had its tests also- I left 2 mounted and 2 just on a rock for the last 3 days of flood-inducing rain. I can firmly say that all passed the test of rain with none having any present inside of the light or the battery compartment.Overall, for the price and the features, this is the best quality outdoor light I have tested thus far. It’s larger, brighter and offers a longer battery life also. I think you will be very satisfied with your purchase

Review for: “Solar Fence Lights Outdoor 4 Pack, Yivsen RGB 8 Colors Solar Step Lights Outdoor Waterproof LED Solar Powered Deck Lights for Outside Patio Post Porch Step Fence Railing Wall Garden Pool Yard Stair”Brand: YivsenSize: black 4 Pack Solar Fence LightsInside the box were the 4 lights, 4 brackets, 6 sets of 2 screws & 2 anchors, and the user manual. The light goes straight down and there is no glass or plastic over the LEDs. Because they face down though, no rain should get on them. The lights are rated IP65 which means they are dust-proof and protected against vertically falling water, spraying & splashing water, and low-powered water jets. These are dusk to dawn lights, so if they do not work, try covering the solar panel / sensor so it thinks it is dark. Also for the same reason, they may not work outside if mounted too close to another light source. There is no remote with these lights. Everything is controlled by the two buttons on the bottom. One is the power button which is a bit stiff and needs a good press to turn the light on or off. The other is the mode button which is easy to press, and cycles through the various modes. The solid colours include white, red, green, blue, yellow-green, light blue, pink-purple, and warm white. There are also two flashing modes. One is called “RGB fade mode” or “RGB dimming” (depending where you are reading it). In this mode, each colour starts bright then dims, and then the next colour comes on. Each colour is on for about 3.7 seconds. The other mode is RGB flashing, which flashes each colour in turn for about 2.5 seconds each. The mounting base plate (bracket) is nice because you can mount the bracket and then just put on the light. You can then take off the light at any time, maybe to charge it in a better spot, or use it as a flashlight while outdoors, then place it back on the mount after. This is a nice set of 4 decorative solar lights for a fence or deck. When charged, they can also be used in an inside hallway. I was able to mount the brackets with 2-sided tape in my hallway, then charge them in the sunroom when the battery gets low.I like that I can choose the colour, as other fence light I have now are either just blue or a shade of white.

I like these solar fence light a lot, they are a good size and I appreciate that the product page includes a video of the actual product in use. It allowed me get a good idea of it’s size before ordering them because often time product pages on Amazon have product pictures that make them look much larger than what they are.I got the set of four to test out on part of our fence/yard.These solar fence lights are easy to install, all the needed hardware is included.I like the clip system, it make it easy to remove the light at the end of the season or it’s also great if you have one/several that are installed on spots that have poor sun coverage you can easily take it out and place it elsewhere in your yard during the day to rechange.Even now, in Spring, without having reach peach daytime light/sun they seem to charge well and last a good number of hours. As Summer progresses with more daylight and less night time, these will last all night. The level of light/brightness is very good, everything is controlled by 2 buttons and I really like the 2 different modes, they are especially interesting when we have a gathering, but on most regular nights I like to keep them on a solid colour. These are going to be popular this summer during parties and gatherings in our backyard. They bring a fun touch of colour instead of the the same old boring white/yellowish solar light that we usually see. Our kids already love them, they love picking a colour for the night. The only issue or annoyance I have is that you need to manually change the colours and/or modes on each individual lights. This is fine for a few (or in my case 4) lights but it’s a really tedious process if you have 12 or 16 of these installed and in some cases they might be installed in hard to access places. I would of liked if a version of these could be app controlled to quickly and easily change all the light at once even group them and change them by groups. If you intend to always leave them at the same colour it’s not an issue, but what’s the purpose of having RBG solar lights if you’re not going to change them from time to time.Currently the 4 pack that I got doesn’t seem to be available, but there’s 8, 12 and 16 packs and on the first two options there’s currently a 40% discount code that brings the per unit price as low as 5$ which is pretty good.

I ordered these to put a little ambiance on my backyard fence. They are super easy to use, the colors are vibrant and the design is aesthetically pleasing. After bathing in the sunlight during the day, they all last very long during the night time. This gives a great vibe in my backyard. However, I must mention that the clips to mount them have 2 drill holes which means they can only be mounted to a wall, wood plank, brick, etc. I wanted them up on my chain-link fence and was disappointed to find that out. In the end, I was able to create a makeshift mount in order to get it to work on chain-link fences, but I think it’s a fair warning to anyone that intended to do the same as me.That being said, it was not enough for me to deduct points away as they continue to work really well after going through multiple rain and snow storms. I would recommend them.

I like these lights, they are like the VIPs of outdoor lighting, bringing the vibes without any fuss. The ambiance these lights create is just spot-on. Whether I’m unwinding on the patio or just soaking in the sunset, these bad boys set the perfect mood with their color-changing feature. It’s like having a mini light show in your backyard! They are not the brightest but that is what I like. They still light up the yard nicely without blinding you. Plus, they’re super easy to install – I had them up along my fence in no time. What really sold me on these lights is that they’re solar-powered, so I don’t have to argue with my hubby about turning lights on in the backyard! And they automatically light up at night, so no need to fiddle with switches.I only got a 4 pack and now see that they sell them in a 12 pack which makes way more sense. The 4 pack is too little to be uniform in our backyard.
