Best solar camera on the market for a low price and no monthly fees
We bought this for our home since we are not in a heavily populated area. It is perfect- it is everything that they advertise it to be. It is relatively easy to upload- you just upload the app and it walks you through all the steps. They have wonderful customer service folks who really care and want to you help you so don’t be afraid to ask for help. This product is amazing with an amazingly low price. The night vision for us is mostly black and white but all the images are very sharp and clear. The color pictures/videos during the day are absolutely breathtaking. You have plenty options; you can zoom in and manually record videos to be uploaded on your cell phone gallery. It stores lots of files – one minute for each video, but it keeps recording by creating another video. It records based on moving and heat temperature. It is everything they promise it to be. The recordings and uploaded like files on a computer. You can see great expanses of your property, but it only picks up and records on about 50 ft from the camera. We have one of the cameras loaded on a tree, far from the house, but it still picks it up. You must keep camera in the shade (under the eaves of your roof as stated in the directions), with the solar panel in the sun. However, one of our solar panels is mostly in the shade but it is still 80% charged. You can view everything from your cell phone, no matter how far away you are. The app is fantastic- it even tells you how much WiFi it has and how much battery life each solar panel has. This is one of the best products we have ever purchased on Amazon. We even bought one for our church, which is great since we recently had one of our HVAC units stolen from the back of the church. My sister-in-law is a widow and she bought one too. I love it, and you won’t have any trouble getting help from customer service if you have any questions while installing – they are great to work with. They list phone numbers and there’s a chat room you can use for your questions.

Wireless – Excellent Quality. No Monthly Subscription Needed. Better than my x-Arlo
I have been using my AOSU Security Cameras for almost 6 months. I previously had Arlo cameras for over 2 years, but got tired of changing the batteries and paying for the required monthly service to view footage. These AOSU cameras were very easy and quick to install. The day and night images are excellent and the security videos are instantly stored in the included storage device that plugs into router. These cameras always show 100% charge with the plug in included solar panels, and there’s no need to replace batteries. The cameras also have sound and microphones, and the system includes a loud alarm siren if needed. The zoom is awesome on my cell phone, and can also watch or record live video anytime. I Love my AUSO camera system and the quality is way better and videos are more clear and wider. The night vision is also much better. I wish I hadn’t waisted so much money and fees on the Arlo system.

Bought the cameras on a boxing day sale, set them up and they worked beautifully for about a week then the homebase quit working on us. After getting in contact with customer service they sent us a whole new set. I set the new one up and it’s been working awesome. Ice to have wireless besides the connection wire to the solar panel. Having it solar powered actually quite nice! The battery like has always remained fully charged, and that’s even with the -50 temperatures we have gotten here in alberta. The video quality is awesome and the talking features work great. I would recommend these cameras 100% easy to set up and after my lemon I had which every product out there has, these are working fantastic. Would buy again forsure

Fitted one of these after an incident with our car. From the sales pitch it met a number of requirements – no need to connect to a cloud provider (Although its optional), no need to drill holes in the wall and run cables etc and a lot of positive reviews
These were easy and quick to set up, everything worked first time as per the instructions. No need to call the Customer Help Line
WiFi coverage seems good – moved the hub unit a few times to find the best balance of the signal strength between the front and back of the house but once done has remained strong
I charged the cameras once at the beginning via a USB power supply and since then they’ve sat at 100% even with the longer evenings
Very easy to install outside given the solar panel – took longer to get the ladder out that putting them up. Coverage is good so there’s a level of flexibility in location
Barely adjusted the settings for motion etc etc – seems good enough to catch almost everything although we know it’s missed a few callers or people leaving the house for some reason – but we’re happy with this. we get some false detection in the rear from we think bushes moving but again I’d rather that than being to insensitive
Clearing data from the hub is a little manual and repetitive but that’s about the only UI issue we’d comment could be improved so far
Notifications via the app are very fast – its detects someone coming down the path and we generally get the notification before they’ve knocked on the door
So ~ 2 months in – pretty happy. Performance and capability has met requirements so far, and reliable and easy to use, for an acceptable price
