Customers say
Customers like the motion detection, image quality, and night vision of the security camera. For example, they mention it picks up motion pretty consistently, the video quality is very good in HD and good in SD, and the night vision works well. That said, they appreciate the quality, ease of setup, and battery life. That being said, opinions are mixed on connectivity.

Great Buy!
After doing a little research and comparisons, I found this to be the best bang for my buck (assuming it worked as it should). We wanted a camera to put at the horse barn because we have a mare expected to give birth soon and with as much as we travel, work, etc., I wanted to be able to check in on her from my phone. But we do not have wifi at the barn and we do not have electricity (everything is solar), so I needed a camera that would power by solar panel, hold a charge (because realistically, I am not getting the camera down every so many days to charge it), work through a mobile app, and allow me to pan and zoom so that I can see her wherever she is in her stall/pasture. I also liked that with this one you pre-pay for your cellular service, so you aren’t locking in an extra monthly charge to your cell phone bill (because after she has the baby, we may not use it as much, so I have the option to load as little or as much service time to the sim card that fits our needs. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now and I am impressed with all of the features I purchased it for. The set up was simple with the instructions provided. The app is very user friendly. You can keep track of your battery percentage, record, adjust your motion detection sensitivity (or turn it off), adjust the brightness, record, zoom, pan, or use the microphone to speak and hear as well. We had a few cloudy/rainy days, but it never got below 70% on battery and generally stays between 90-100%. There are SD and HD options for picture quality and the HD is very very clear. I could believe the price I was able to get this camera for in comparison to others that offered the same features or that were recommended to me and so far, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It saved me money and functions as great as I could have expected after reading other reviews, comparisons, and the product descriptions. It does everything it says it should do.
Our whole family hunts and is very familiar with outdoor hunting cameras that link to your phone, but for the price, the battery life, the motion detection, the quality of imaging, etc., they are even thinking maybe they need to swap to these to watch deer, feeders, etc.
I highly recommend this camera!

Perfect for monitoring a construction site
I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase of the Solium Solar Powered Camera! I am building a house that does not have internet yet, and I’ve always struggled to find a reliable security solution that doesn’t rely on traditional power sources or Wi-Fi connectivity. This camera has exceeded all my expectations.
First off, the setup was incredibly easy. Within minutes of unboxing, I had the camera mounted and ready to go. The fact that it’s solar-powered means I don’t have to worry about changing batteries or running wires to power sources – it’s completely hassle-free.
The cellular connectivity is a game-changer for me. Since I don’t have access to reliable Wi-Fi in my area, having a camera that operates on cellular networks ensures I’m always connected and can access live feeds and alerts from anywhere, anytime. It provides me with peace of mind knowing I can keep an eye on my property even when I’m not physically there.
The video quality is crystal clear, even in low light conditions, thanks to the night vision feature. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the sharpness and clarity of the footage, which is crucial for identifying any potential threats or intruders.
Another standout feature is the motion detection capability. The camera alerts me immediately whenever there’s any activity detected, allowing me to take swift action if needed. It’s incredibly reassuring knowing that I’ll be notified promptly of any suspicious movements around my property.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the Cellular Solar Powered Camera. It’s a reliable, convenient, and effective security solution, especially for those living in remote areas like myself. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a top-notch surveillance system that’s easy to set up and operates flawlessly.

Si funciona en México y cumple con todas las expectativas. Incluso funciona en zonas con pobre señal 4G. Si la recomiendo.

We tested the camera in Australia
We happy with the product.
Actually performed better than expectation.
I can recommend it.
The product had good specifications and appeared to be good quality.
However not suitable for Australia. CORRECTION.
First camera was sold incorrectly to my region.
Soliom Tech support good involved and the correct camera was supplied.
Second camera connected via 4G and is working correctly, just about to start bench test.

I live on a farm in Alberta and wanted to monitor our long driveway. We donât have line of sight or power so tried this. It did take some time to figure out the SIM Card. Bell had no idea and it took many phone calls to get nowhere. Finally I used a Bell SIM Card from a tablet that I had but never used. I was paying monthly on this SIM anyways on a data usage basis. On my online account at Bell, I assigned that SIM Card to a new device and entered the cameras serial number. It actually worked! Youâll have to have the SIM card activated by Bell I think. Because mine was already activated, I didnât have to. It is frustrating tho bc Bell nor TELUS had a clue what I wanted- good luck!

I spent hours on the phone with all the carriers recommended by customer service and could not get the required data plan to support this device. It really shouldn’t be sold in Canada. It looks amazing, but doesn’t actually work.
UPDATE: I’m getting regular emails from this company asking me to change my review. It’s very frustrating so I thought I would add more detail. I paid for a SIM card with bell that didn’t work. Bell wouldn’t refund my money. Two other carriers said their services wouldn’t work. Initially freedom told me it would work and after I signed up, they said it wouldn’t work. Months later I’m still trying to get that account closed. I went to great lengths to try to get this thing working. I got a refund on the camera when it didn’t, but I lost money with the carrier’s and I’m still dealing with the headache. As most people know, dealing with carriers is not easy…add to the mix a device that they are unfamiliar with and you’re in for it. My advice for those interested in this camera is to call a carrier first, ask for a 4g sim card and tell them what you need it for. Good luck.

I am from Canada and tried 4 different sim cards. All of them have been band 4, 4g data sim cards.
None would connect to the camera. The service I received was also horrible and there is no phone number to call.
Horrible product and horrible company.
