Customers say
Customers like the portability, value, versatility, ease of folding, and ease of assembly of the walking stick. For example, they mention it’s great to pack into a backpack, light enough to strap to their hiking backpacks without a problem, and decent set for the price. That said, some complain about the internal wire.

Game changer!
I had never used hiking poles before but I purchased these for a trip to Costa Rica. They were reasonably priced and had good reviews.Theyâre lightweight, and compact so good for traveling with. Theyâre easy to assemble/disassemble, itâs easy to adjust them for height, and theyâre sturdy. I donât have the best balance so my main reason for purchasing hiking poles was so that I would have a little more stability on uneven ground. And these did exactly that. Whether it was going uphill, downhill or scrambling over volcanic rack these really helped me to maintain my footing.

Awesome Poles
I purchased two sets of these poles for me and my wife. They arrived very quickly, just days after ordering. They collapse to a size that fit nicely in our daypacks. We purchased these walking sticks and used them for the Camino de Santiago, a 800 km trek (pilgrimage) across Spain. These poles performed flawlessly, were sturdy, and folded to a compact size when needed to store in our packs. My wife and I found that these poles assembled and disassembled easily and were very comfortable to use and extremely supportive while walking our trek. The soft and adjustable hand straps made gripping the poles comfortable. My wife and I never experienced hand or grip fatigue, using these poles for our entire journey. There is also a strip of Velcro attached to each pole which made stowing the poles in a collapsed state easy. Three of the sections are a fixed length with a fourth section that locks into an adjustable length using a quick release lever. The only downside to these poles we experienced was a black aluminum dust that developed on the connecting points, which if we didn’t wipe of periodically would get on our hands and clothes when disassembling or assembling the poles.I found these Mobility Aides as I call them, a great value for the money and a welcomed piece of equipment for any hike.

Excellent quality but hard to open quickly
I really like these folding sticks. They were a real help on a recent trip when I spent a lot of time walking on uneven terrain including steep stone steps. These are excellent quality, with well manufactured parts, and they come with a handy carrying case and several extra types of bottom pieces to attach to the tips. I was careful to follow the instructions for opening the sticks carefully- I once had a similar but lower quality stick that I ruined by opening using intuition instead of the instructions. This is why I gave the sticks four stars instead of five: after you unfasten the velcro holder and let the pieces fall into place, you have to pull out the topmost piece carefully until the little metal nib comes out and clicks in place. This is really hard to do quickly, so itâs very frustrating. You have to pull very hard, but simultaneously you have to be careful not to pull the piece out too far. Sometimes I have to use all my strength and focus to get the bloody thing to click â while people are waiting for me so they can start the trek. Iâm hoping that over time this process will get easier, but I was very frustrated by this difficulty while I was traveling.

Light weight
This is my first set of trekking poles. Easy to set up and quick to adjust. They are sturdy and give you great support and balance in steep and rough terrain. The wrist straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. Great product and value.

Strong, compact and easy to use
I am a senior and not in peak condition. I worried about walking, esp. on cobblestones during a recent vacation in Europe. I bought these poles to help me with balance and stability while on walking excursions. The poles are light and strong. They are adjustable to your height (I am on the shorter side) and come with several tips that can be changed to best match the terrain you are on. I used one pole only during walking excursions in towns. They helped so much with my balance, esp. when I started to slow down and the added support allowed me to continue to walk, instead of giving up and sitting down. I used both when walking on the ship walking track. I will continue to use these as I ramp up my walking around my neighborhood to help improve my physical conditioning. For me, this was a great purchase!

Great trekking poles!
Got these specifically for a hiking trip to France; needed something that could collapse to fit in my luggage and in my day pack. These were lightweight, sturdy, very stable, easy to assemble and disassemble quickly. We hiked 7-10 miles per day in the Calanques and the Costa Brava: rocky terrain, exposed, some steep ascents and descents. Was grateful to have these along!

MAterailes muy ligeros y resistentes.Esteticamente destacable.Muy Facil de armar en 2 sencillos pasos. Solo se necesita ver algun video de armado ya que , practicamente no hay que hacer nada solo conectar un extremo con otro y que los seguros de sujeción se ajusten correctamente.

Iâm really impressed by these cheap poles. I usually use expensive Leki poles, but wanted something small enough to go inside my rucksack if Iâm scrambling or rock climbing.I didnât want to buy lighter, but much more expensive, carbon fibre poles, as I didnât feel Iâd use them often enough. (I mainly planned to use my robust aluminium Leki poles still.)Putting these together, I was immediately impressed by how well-made they are. They actually feel slightly lighter than my Lekiâs, but pack down to a much shorter length, so they will easily fit inside my rucksack.Iâm 5â3â, and have preferred to use trekking poles set at a single length for 30 years now (regardless of whether Iâm going up or downhill). The shortest setting on these (buying the shorter length option) feels very slightly longer than Iâd usually set my Lekiâs, but they will be far better than not being able to take poles with me.The handles feel comfortable, and I like that they came with a wide variety of pole end options, Velcro to keep the folded poles together, and a handy storage bag to carry them in. It is easy to snap the pole sections together, and the resulting poles are stable and sturdy.
