Easy install, very bright!
OverviewI’ve been using the UME Solar Outdoor Lights for a few months now, and they have significantly improved the security and visibility around my home. With 332 LEDs per unit, these lights are incredibly bright, providing a color temperature of 7000K that mimics daylight. The dual motion sensors and three lighting modes offer versatility, while the IP65 waterproof rating ensures durability in various weather conditions. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience.Design and Build QualityThe lights are well-constructed with a solid, weather-resistant design. The IP65 rating means they can withstand heavy rain and dust, which is ideal for outdoor use. The 270-degree wide-angle coverage is a standout feature, ensuring that a large area is illuminated. Each light panel is adjustable, allowing me to direct the light exactly where it’s needed. The build quality feels premium, and the lights have held up well against the elements so far.Installation and SetupInstallation was straightforward. The package includes all necessary mounting hardware, and the lights can be easily mounted on walls or fences. The solar panels are efficient and have been able to charge the lights even on cloudy days. I placed them in areas with direct sunlight to ensure optimal charging.Performance and BrightnessThese lights are impressively bright. With 332 LEDs, they provide a powerful light output that covers a wide area, making them perfect for my garden and patio. The 7000K color temperature offers a crisp, white light that enhances visibility and security. The motion sensors are very sensitive and pick up movement from a considerable distance. The dual sensor setup ensures that any movement within the detection range triggers the lights, providing peace of mind when it comes to security.Lighting ModesThe UME Solar Lights offer three modes:Mode 1: Constant light at night.Mode 2: Dim light until motion is detected, then brightens.Mode 3: Light is off until motion is detected, then turns on brightly.I’ve experimented with all three modes, and each serves its purpose well. For general use, I prefer Mode 3 as it conserves energy and only activates when needed. Mode 2 is great for areas where you want a bit of ambient light with the added security of motion activation.Battery LifeThanks to the efficient solar panels, the battery life is excellent. After a full day of charging, the lights easily last through the night. Even during shorter winter days, the performance remains reliable.DurabilitySo far, the lights have proven to be very durable. They’ve withstood heavy rain and wind without any issues. The waterproof design ensures that the lights continue to function optimally regardless of the weather.ConclusionThe UME Solar Outdoor Lights have exceeded my expectations. They are incredibly bright, easy to install, and offer versatile lighting options. The motion sensors are highly sensitive and provide excellent security coverage. With their durable build and efficient solar charging, these lights are a fantastic addition to any garden, patio, or yard. Whether for security or general illumination, they are a reliable and effective solution. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of powerful, solar-powered outdoor lighting.

Faulty settings/Fixed by Customer Service!
EDIT:Customer service reached out to me and offered a refund or replacement for the faulty units (ended up with two faulty out of the 6 ordered). This generous offer has changed my two star review into a 5 star. Customer service and a good product are what drive all of my reviews. If a company will stand behind their products, you canât ask much more than that! One of the lights functions properly and works well. The other is faulty. It will turn on all day long despite being turned off or on the lowest motion setting. Of course it happened 31 days after being delivered so there is no return possible. So sad, because the one does work really well and allows me to see well on my yard at night when I take my dogs out. I have 6 set up around the perimeter and 5 of the 6 work well if I make sure that the solar panel is situated to capture the most sunlight.Great disappointment.

Works great when they work
I bought 2 of theses jsut to see how well they worked and I was pleased. Then I bought 8 more and 3 of them were faulty from not coming on at all to water leaking in and the middle light not working. However I love the ones that work and would like to buy more but am a bit hesitant due to the 3 that don’t work. Hopefully the others keep working because they are great lights if they work. I would like to update my review by saying this company stands by there product and replaced the 3 lights that broke. I will recommend these to anyone who asks it’s hard to find a product as reasonably priced with good customer service. Definitely will buy more from these guys

Easy and bright outdoor motion lights
I’ve been meaning to setup some motion sensing lights in my backyard for several years now, but I’m very reluctant to get power wired through the roof. Somehow I hadn’t thought of a solar powered battery unit. What an easy solution this is!I had also only thought of 1 set of lights but at this price, the 2 pack is just great value. This gives me much better coverage of the backyard.Note that you will need to charge them up before using them. When they first arrived it was late afternoon and I wanted to test them right away, so I left them in the fading sun for a few minutes, which did allow some function but obviously it was low charge still. The next day I left them in the sun and they worked perfectly through the night, and still had charge the next day. They have 3 modes that are pretty well described by the product description.I prefer the first mode, which is the light is off until motion is detected and then comes on until no more motion is detected for a little bit. This helps me quickly notice any animals or people moving around in the dark in my backyard. It really puts my mind at ease as we have had both moving through the neighborhood lately. The side lights can be pivoted outwards or flat with the center light.I haven’t tested for too long but so far the dust and water proofing has been fine. The lights came with mounting plates that are optional, depending on how you intend to mount them.As I have 2 and can cover the yard better, I’m mounting them on each end of my fence.Quick and easy to do.The motion sensors cover my entire backyard. My only difficulty was positioning them to avoid my neighbors window 🙂 Although he has motion lights too.I’d definitely recommend these lights if you’re shopping for motion sensing lights.Especially if you want to avoid the hassles of hard wiring them.Very happy with my purchase!

Awesome lights
These are great lights. Easy install and instructions. There are multiple settings with a weather protection cover. So far charge lasts nicely. nice sensitive motion sensor and bonus feature of “always on” and then gets brighter when it detects motion. 3 multiple direction heads give great coverage and flexibility. Large solar panel is also adjustable for most sunlight direction during the day. I just installed them in the summer so dont know about rainproof, but looks like it should be good.

The old solar light at home broke down, so I bought this one and it feels very good. I’m very happy, feel very safe!

It bought for my driveway. It is bright and good sensor distance. It is also easy to install. It works in cold weather in -30C. Not long enough to comment on the lifetime of the product.

Arrived in an unsealed box.Solar panel attached to the lamp with limited orientation range.Worked for a few hours then stopped working since I got it last week.Require too much sunlight, not a good product for the cold and dark weather we have here in Canada.

I have had these installed for three months now and haven’t had any issues with them yet. I have one installed at the entrance to my shed and the other to the entrance of my car port. Both places that needed some extra light but are too far away to be wired into the house’s grid. These performed as one would expect. They were quite bright and the motion detection was flawless. They would pick me up from a good distance away, and although I didn’t activate them very often, they seemed to always have a good charge, despite one of them only getting half the day’s solar energy. This might change for the winter months but for the long days we have now, they charge just fine. Speaking of weather, the construction of them is water tight (so far with the limited rain we’ve been having in NS), though the plastic does feel very cheap. Not much else can be said about them, though for their price and what they are, all I can say is you get what you pay for. I just hope I can keep getting more months out of them, if not years, but I doubt that.Thank you for reading my review! ð

I have another one that was discontinued, and it seems on par with that one. It’s pretty bright and the motion sensing works well. I like that it has 2 motion sensors, so itturns on regardless of what side of the light im approaching from.
