Great Security Camera on a budget
To start, the seller doesn’t mess around. This is my second order of 4 cameras, and they arrive quickly and well-packaged. I ordered 2 packages (4 cameras) to keep on eye on our out-of-state property. I’ve been satisfied enough to order another 2 packages to keep an eye on our primary residence when we’re visiting the other property.The picture quality is great. The motion detection works a little too well. I’ve had to dial the sensitivity down to low, so that even a mild breeze doesn’t trigger these non-stop. If you don’t have trees in the view, it’d probably be fine. It’s very accurate with person/pet/vehicle notifications. The application used (VicoHome) is pretty no-frills, but it has a mild learning curve, which I expected for this price. The app is free, but the free version has only a little bit of storage (I believe it clears after 3 days?). For a small fee, you can up-that to 30 days, and quite a bit of storage. I opted for the middle-tier package, which is less than $5 a month, and you get a few added features, like “zone mapping”, where you can elect not to get notifications of events for a selected area of view. It still records, but you’re phone isn’t doing the thing.The motion is great, and easy to control, and is very quiet. I can pan the camera with someone standing right next to it and they can’t hear it…kinda nice if you’re trying to covertly move the camera to track something. You can pick “Favorites”, so at the push of a button, the camera will move to a specific location..and you can have multiple of those.The microphone works pretty well, but the speakers leave allot to be desired. I wouldn’t count on using this to talk to someone, like a ring doorbell. The siren is also barely audible from 30 feet away. However, the night vision is superb! In ultra-low light conditions, it will be in black and white, but so far, with minimal lighting (solar landscape lights) the footage is in color..and a pretty darn good picture for being so dark. The cameras do have a spot-light option, which isn’t stupid-bright, but the cameras pick it up very well, where it does look light a high-powered spotlight. It’s a noticeable light, which may spook unwanted riff-raff away, as they would now know they’re being recorded.

Overall good camera
2 way auto could be better. Very very low volume coming from the camera when trying to talk to someone outside.Hearing what’s outside through the app is very good.

Terrible Support
This is an update to my previous review (2/27/24):When I wrote the original review, I was delighted with these cameras and the pre-sale support I received. I have installed many of them for my customers, and for the most part, they performed well. However, at least 2 of the cameras had defects (they would randomly disconnect “lock up” and wouldn’t function unless I climbed the ladder to manually reboot them… Then, the camera would work for a week or two and then it would lock up again). I have been a professional installer for years and I wasn’t deterred by the defects. I had hoped the seller had a solution to fix the problem or would setup the unit for an RMA/Repair. Instead, the seller would not respond for a week or two and would offer ridiculous suggestions like “try moving the router” (even though the camera, when it’s working, shows a full-strength signal and a fully-charged battery). This has been happening for months and the seller has NOT been helpful or responsive (I haven’t even received a response to my last message). Because I need to protect my reputation, I’ve had to replace the cameras with another brand, AT MY EXPENSE. Because of the terrible support, I can no longer recommend this product for home or business users.Original Review:I ordered several of these cameras for my customers. I liked the features that were described in the Ad. After charging the Cameras and installing the App, the cameras connected very easily (admittedly, I’m a computer/network professional, so I thought the directions were excellent and easy… I think even a less-experienced person will have no difficulties connecting). The quality of the images is great and the “pan and tilt” functions worked as described. I wanted to learn ALL of the many features (you probably won’t use most of them, but I wanted to improve my expertise), so I contacted Support through Amazon’s message system. The responses came VERY quickly and were very thorough and professional. Because I have to support MY customers, I really appreciated their support. Here are a couple of Notes that might help you: I installed 64GB SD Cards in the cameras because I wanted my customers to have a longer lookback period. You’ll get 7 days of free Cloud recording, but if you pick one of the paid subscriptions, you can get more days. You’ll get notifications, even without a subscription, BUT if you want to set a motion “Activity Zone” or use the Artificial Intelligence features, you’ll need one of the subscriptions (I thought the price of the Basic subscription is reasonable, but I guess that’s subjective). If you really care about the night vision images, you should activate the spotlight feature… It helps the clarity of the videos. As you can tell, I’m very happy with this purchase and expect to order more.
