Stylish and Functional Cool Skirt
I came across this long, black pleated skirt and am enjoying the material’s thinness and coolness, which derives from 95% polyester and 5% spandex. The skirt feels lightweight around my body. It flowed freely in the breeze, and I stayed cool wearing it.
This skirt is stylish and functional with pockets! It also includes an elastic waistline with a drawstring. I usually tie the drawstring so that my skirt doesn’t slip down. Sometimes I like to stand with my hands in my pockets and I need a tight waistline to support the weight of my arms.
Although the material is thin, I did not have to worry about see-through. I usually wear dark underwear for an extra effort of discretion. Also, I am five feet tall, so the skirt stops above my ankles.
This skirt will keep me cool this summer because it flows freely below the waist. The price is reasonable, so I did not break the bank for coolness.

Beautiful, Comfortable, Elegant
I ordered this skirt in the color Red Floral Black, in size Medium. For reference, I’m currently about 37.5-30-39 and 5’4″. The sewn-in tag says 95% polyester & 5% spandex, though I don’t feel any stretch or give to the fabric. The fabric feels lightweight, yet it hangs gracefully and flows nicely. I love the print I chose. The flowers are kind of pinkish red with green stems against a black background. The waistband is wide and elastic with a tie drawstring made of the same fabric as the skirt. It’s quite comfortable. The skirt is nice and full and not too long for someone of my average height, so I don’t look like I’m drowning in it. I think it looks pretty and elegant. Also, the fabric is thin enough to feel comfy on a hot day, yet it isn’t see-through, at least not in this color. I definitely like this skirt and recommend it!

Love it!
This skirt is absolutely beautiful. It’s lightweight yet still feels like good quality. It’s slightly see thru, but that’s easily fixed by wearing nude shape wear shorts underneath which I would do anyways. So glad I bought this!

So cute! Fits as expected
This skirt is absolutely adorable, and best of all, it has pockets! It fits as expected, according to the size chart. There’s definitely wiggle room up or down too, since the waistband is elastic. It’s longer on me than on the model, but I’m hardly model height, so that’s not surprising at all.
Overall, it’s a really versatile piece- the waist tie makes it a little more casual with the right top, but the pattern and material make it business appropriate too. It’s flowy and light weight as well- perfect for the upcoming summer months. Despite the light color, My dark shirt didn’t show through when tucked in or anything like that- the lining of the skirt gives it an extra layer of opacity.
I’ll definitely have to grab another one of these in the future!

Reasons why I love this skirt:
1. It has pockets!
2. The waist band is sturdy enough that I can fill the pockets with whatever I want, and the skirt doesn’t get pulled down.
3. There is a draw string in addition to the elastic on the off chance that one day the Weight Loss Fairy visits me…
4. It is super cute!
The only think I would change: The material is very slippery-smooth, so my t-shirts keep riding up. If you tuck your shirts in, you’ll be fine. I, however, am ridiculously short-waisted, so skirt-bands sit right under my bra, and a tucked in shirt looks stupid on me. BUT… I like this skirt enough that I am now on the hunt for a better shirt to wear.

Exceeds Expectations! Love this!
I ordered a size small and it fit me true to size. 5’1″ and 125#- the skirt is comfortable and hits about mid calf on me.
It has a really nice flow and lays like the pictures. It feels flattering on me even though I don’t look like the models. I got compliments on it the first time I wore it from a few people.
I love the pockets, so nice to have.
It is not lined, but its not see through, in the dark green color at least.
It is airy and cool, not hot. Still great for summer wear.
I love this skirt and want to buy additional colors!

Wrinkles
Im not happy with the wrinkles…I don’t have a steam iron..now I have to take to cleaners to get the wrinkles out

flowy, not overly pleated
This is a nice midi skirt. It is a flowy material, though I didn’t see major pleats. It is comfortable to wear, though does feel like more of a polyester. The elastic waistband fits well, and pockets are always a plus.
I actually got this for myself, but my daughter claimed it as hers instead! 🙂 She is 14, and this is a little longer for her (I’m taller), but still fits well.
