The Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro is the ultimate security…
Customers say
Customers like the features, adjustability, and image quality of the security camera. For example, they mention it has a lot of functions, it’s easy to set up, and has sensitivity that can be adjusted to personal preference. Some are happy with detail, ease of installation, and flood light. That said, opinions are mixed on value and quality.

Top shelf quality
This is my second Wyze floodlight cam. I’m very pleased with product design and quality. Setup was smooth, except on first go-round I accidently downloaded the wrong program… be careful to get the Wyze software as Google Play will be confusing. However, my mistake and the Wyze software was very well written, step-by-step instructions, and useful to use. Set detection zones, set rules, even adjust floodlight brightness. Highly recommended.

Get it!
After an unfortunate attempt to break into one of our vehicles, getting these floodlight cameras was a must for us.The 180 degree field of view is incredible, and the quality of the image is amazing! The AI works well distinguishing between people, pets, cars, etc. and the features work well in the app.I appreciate that they can run on an SD card with continuous recording if you donât want to pay for the subscription, but the subscription is quite cheap if you want to go that route! The lights are bright and dimmable â and the ambient feature already helped us more than once. I do wish they had included warm white LEDs as well to give an option for a warm ambient light, but thatâs nitpicking.Installing them to where we had an existing light fixture was quite easy. The Wyze installation video walks you through it all.Our only issue was with setup in the app. Multiple units all struggled to connect once we entered the WiFi password (though we had a strong connection). We had to keep trying over and over again to get them to connect. The new Wyze Doorbell v2 uses a QR code they generate on your phone⦠I wonder if other cams can go that route?Eventually they did connect â and now that theyâre set up, they work great!Recommend them for sure. Way cheaper than competitors and they work great!

Easy to install
I replaced a competitors floodlight cam with the WYZE Cam Floodlight Pro. The old device was up less than a year and often lost connection. It was also a challenge to install. This device installed in 15 minutes and is designed with ease of installation in mind. The quality is commendable and adding the device to the application was simple and easy.Iâve included four photos to show the picture quality and the light illumination. The last photo is from the old device and demonstrates the additional field of view.I should note that in the last month Iâve replace eight competitors cameras with WYZE products, I started with four pan cameras and soon added three fixed cam v3s and a garage door cam v3 with the controller. All the products I have installed have worked excellently. An additional benefit with WYZE products is the encoded time stamp which the old cameras didnât have and the continuous recording to the MICROsd card allows us to easily go to past dates and times. This WYZE product along with the others I mentioned are products that I can fully recommend and endorse.

Buyer Beware! This doesn’t work!!!
After buying it, I now see reviews of folks having the same issue as us — the cameras constantly go offline and we have to physically reboot the wifi router, cable modem, and power cycle the switches to the 2 cameras in order for it to maybe go back on. (This doesn’t always work either). These cameras only worked for us for 1 week. Let me tell you why this is a really big problem:1). You have to be home to try to get it back online… when you are on vacation, or say someone who spends 1/2 the year in Florida & 1/2 up north…. if you are away from home, the camera goes offline and leaves you unprotected and you won’t be able to do anything about it. We bought the camera because of packages theft from in front of our garage, and mailbox theft, so having it offline is unacceptable.2). The company does nothing about it. I wasted an entire 2 days on live chat — I don’t have time for that, and I will never get that time back. I don’t get paid when I don’t work. Even more of a problem, when I first contacted them about both our cameras being offline, they said it was because they had just updated & made changes, and we’d have to reboot the wifi router, cable modem, and cycle power on & off “only once” because of the firmware change. But my husband and I work from home. My husband’s job is very stressful, and he was in the middle of a live issue (as he usually is)… we can’t just power off wifi in the middle of a work day. I asked how often they would give updates and we’d have to reboot. I was told “very rarely”. Well, after we rebooted everything, the cameras only worked for ONE HOUR before going offline again. So the issue wasn’t resolved. And they continue to go offline. After sending them screenshots and logs and basically being a slave beta tester for them, the last email I got from the company said, and I quote, “My team doesn’t have a way to interpret or access the logs and we have no control over this. What I can do is I will be submitting your feedback to the team. We won’t likely hear from them but they usually solve the issue by including the fix through firmware and app updates.” Any careful reader will notice: 1). the offline issue started from a firmware update in the first place. 2). Firmware updates require the reboot of router and power cycling — so if you are away from your home for any amount of time, or if you work from home, you are screwed.3). There’s no indication that the company will ever fix this, as there was another review complaining about this issue from 3 months ago! There are other complaint reviews from 7 months ago. A security camera that is constantly offline is a complete fail, and the company does not care, does not value your time or money, and doesn’t resolve the issue.4). We are going to remove the cameras and return — barely making the return window because we had to have Geek Squad install them for us and that took forever. We paid $400 to have these cameras installed, and now, we are going to be left without the yard lights we started with, and out $400. No accountability from the company for the money we lost, the time we lost, and the fact that we are not protected from theft all this time.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

Best camera I have
This camera is awesome! The light can be super bright, no matter if it’s on motion sensor or just normal light. Plus, you can even turn the light off completely if you want. The camera itself can see practically everything in the room, and you can zoom in way further than I thought possible! I liked it so much, I bought another one just a few days later. They work great together, and they even play nicely with my older cameras too. I’m no security camera pro, but I’d totally recommend this system to anyone!
