Small but bright They are small but bright and have three modes. I’m using the 3rd mode, motion only. Nice metal case, you can mount with one screw or use the included sticky squares.
Powerful little lights. Works better than expected. These are some powerful little lights. They are very bright when at full power. I mounted these on wooden fence posts along my driveway. They mount by either screw or double face tape pads. I just screwed them into the wooden posts. They only take one screw to mount them. The screws they give you are at best, fair. You may want to use your own. The only other negative is that the directions are very small. I went back to the advertisement online to see how to set these to work the way I wanted them to.When I mounted these lights in the morning, I set them to be on at 50% normally, then at 100% when they detect motion. When I checked that night, they did not do anything but stay on. I cycled through pushing the buttons again and they now work fine. I was surprised to see that 50% is fairly bright. When I walk by these lights, they go to 100% which is very bright. After a few seconds of no motion, they return to 50% brightness again. The motion sensing is good, as I was about 20 feet away when the turned brighter.I cannot yet speak to how these will hold up over time and weather. But so far so good. I’m pleased.
Weak and Ineffective Lighting The solar-powered outdoor lights I purchased were a complete letdown. They barely emit any light, making them virtually useless for illuminating my garden path at night. Even after charging during the day, the glow they produce is feeble and does not meet my lighting needs.
Real Review. Real Person. Real Owner. So I installed these on the steps leading up to the front porch. I did not mind them at all. Wife hated them. We live in a house built in the 1840-1850’s and she felt that these detracted too much. And I see her point. It is not so much as the look at night than it is the daytime. These are “in your face” seen as you walk up to the front porch.Canceling out her thoughts, I do want to offer a review of these since I installed them. I used the adhesive backing to place these before I even considered screws. In the event we didn’t like them (we are split 1:1 but she wins) I could remover them. Easier said then done. VERY STRONG adhesive and problematic removing the lights. I had to get a thin and narrow nail puller to protect the wood on the steps.Once I was able to pry them off, a great deal of the adhesive appeared on the steps. This was easily remedied using this product: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00022W4ZU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Just be prepared to do a lot of rubbing and elbow grease but the residue will come off leaving no sign of adhesive. These are bright lights and perfect for steps (ahem, my opinion). Motion detection is nice.
Bright solar lights. Great for places where there is no electricity. Very bright. I use these lights on my pasture fence and around a pen. I have them all set on mode 3 (below) but I might set the ones that are always exposed to full sunlight to mode 2, to see how long they last. It would be nice to have a little continuous light. They are very easy to install (just one screw – or of you have a cleaner service, you can use one of the adhesive mounts. Easy to set up also. You push the button to switch between:1) Lights are on until the battery dies2) The lights are on 50%, then turn on 100% when motion is detected.3) The lights are off until motion is detected then they turn on 100%4) OffInstall the lights where they will be exposed to sunlight most of the day. I have to use a variety of battery operated and solar charged lights. These are great for solar charged lights because they are really bright at 100%. The motion can detected about 8 to 10 feet away if the angle is right. I like these lights. They are a good value for 6 lights and work great.

OK…
They work, but are not as bright as some older lights that have been up for 3 years. Not a bad product, but I’d hoped for more brightness.
