Makes your wireless camera truly wireless. A great addition to my security camera system. My cameras are wifi and battery powered, but I would often forget to monitor the battery level and wind up with dead cameras. This solar peavey has solved that problem for good. The panel is well made, with a very long cord that allows for a lot of mounting options. It mounted in about 5 minutes using the included template for the screw holes. It did include screws and all plugs but I chose to use some of my own do the the surface I mounted it to. The panel charges very well, even in fun indirect light. I started by fully charging the cameras battery and connecting the panel in the evening. Overnight the cameras got to 98% battery and after about 45 minutes of light the panel had it fully charged again. The cameras now stay at 99-100% all day as they stop the charge when full, and the panel will top it off as soon as it’s allowed to. Even on a recent few days of storms she minimal sunlight my cameras got down to about 87% and the next sunny morning they were all back to full before noon. A very simple solution to keeping those cameras charged and ready when needed.
6W Solar Panel Compatible with Ring Spotlight Cam Plus/Pro I do not have a ring camera but since this panel comes with USB C so I bought this solar panel for charging my Moto G phone and it works great and it is reasonably priced! I will use it when I go camping.
These work perfectly with my Ring camera. I was a little concerned when I ordered this that it might not fit the power connector in my ring camera.Fortunately the company helpfully provided two different kinds of power adapters for newer and older models of the Ring camera. So I was covered and after mounting it on the wall and testing it for a week it seems to be keeping up with charge from the solar panel perfectly. The price was good too.
Easy to install and simplifies placement of cameras This was pretty simple to install and use. The bracket uses wood screws to attach anywhere that you have enough daylight to power your camera and keep it charged. It also allows you to install anywhere you have coverage to your WiFi network. This allows you to fully place your cameras for coverage instead of worrying about the logistics of running power.
Not just for cameras. This will eventually go on my last camera. But until then, I’m using this while camping. With the usb c adapter and high output I can put this in the sun all day and recharge my battery banks that I keep to charge the lights. The light on the cord tells you you’re good to go and getting juice. So far so good.

This is a good alternative to getting the branded one. Works as it should and keeps the battery charged.
